This review is somewhat limited in scope as I'm only using it as a clock. Its flexibility in both brightness and display made it ideal for my home theater. So while I can't comment on either the speaker or microphone quality, it great for what I'm doing with it.

Awesome clock! It can even tell you to make a wish at 11:11. You can change the volume. The numbers are in Google colors. And you can ask it whatever you want by saying, "Hey Google ".

I love love love my google smart assistant. Easy connectivity to his smart devices and my Roomba! I’m so glad I purchase this. I use it in the living room and move my echo dot into my bedroom.

Excellent if you don't want to spend a lot but want Google assistant with an LCD screen with diferent clock formats and screen savers you can personalize your screen.

This light is not as bright as I like it to be but it does the same thing as the Google hubs and minis. Will set as many alarms as needed.

Great clock is easy to see in the dark and a google assistant is a nice option.

This would've been the 4th one of these clocks for our home. But for the first time I got a pop-up in the setup process "This Lenovo Smart Clock was manufactured for a different country, and may not be compatible with your Wi-Fi network." Well the warning did not lie. It is not compatible, could not get it to connect at all. Very frustrating. Will be returning to Best Buy.

Not at all what I expected. The reasons I bought it was I thought it could wake me up with music not some annoying commercial pushing me to buy, that plays over and over. I thought if I awoke I could see the time there but it self adjust brightness and since I am a bit blind I can’t see it, and there is no way to adjust it. I don’t want to hear the news in the morning or the weather yet this morning I had to unplugged it as I tell it to STOP many times over and the thing kept going anyways, this thing is so annoying. Overall a waste of my money.

This clock periodically goes on sale for $39 and then it is an incredible deal. You could easily spend that just to buy a dumb clock to put on your nightstand table. Instead you can get this beautiful little clock, that has the Google assistant built into it, it lets you set alarms and stop alarms, play news, play music- lots of other stuff, all with voice commands. It’s small and perfect for a nightstand table. It automatically dims at night if you want it to and has a reasonable number of settings dealing with clock faces, brightness, and more. The speaker isn’t great at all but you can output audio if you really want to. it even has a USB port on the back to plug in a device needing a charge. The Amazon echo show five is a very cool clock also, but I ended up putting that at my study desk where I work remotely as it is far more functional including the playing if video and superior sound quality; but for a bed stand table what you really want is a really functional clock. This absolutely satisfies the needs, is very affordable, has the wonderful ability to take voice commands to set and stop alarms. It is perfect.

It broke in the first week and for 3 weeks it said that there was not a warranty because it had expired in 1978. had to contact Lenovo 10 times before it was fixed

Horrible, clock won’t change to correct time. Beware it’s a common problem so if your a iPhone user I wouldn’t buy. Android can fix it

This clock Is amazing. I honestly had no idea how good it was. The day I bought it I just happened to stumble across it at a Best Buy competitor, But unfortunately for the competitor Best Buy had it on sale. I took a chance and went ahead and bought it because I needed to replace my old alarm clock. This clock can literally do just about anything. Most of the things that it can do can be done by my voice commands. I honestly feel like I have a little secretary working for me. Everything from setting the alarm, to setting reminders and controlling anything else in my house connected through Google home, music and even weather updates. The speaker on it actually sounds pretty good, especially for it to be so small. One of the main reasons I wanted to get rid of my old alarm clock is because the screen was just too bright and it was just taking up too much space on my nightstand. The Lenovo smart clock dims the screen automatically dependent on the lighting. When it gets dark it dims to almost nothing. This clock is small and compact but it packs a powerful punch. I was lucky enough to catch it on sale at Best Buy for less than half of what it normally costs, but I would actually pay full price for it. In fact, it’s so good I actually bought a second one for my two teen aged daughters for Christmas today. By the way, the alarm is fully adjustable including the volume and different types of alarms. Remember though, this will require an Internet connection and also will require you to set up a Google account if you don’t already have one and download the Google home app. I have an iPhone 11 and it works perfectly. For some people having to set up a Google account may be a dealbreaker. I love this clock and I don’t believe you’ll regret buying it.

The Lenovo smart clock sounds really nice for a small clock. The google assistant works well too. There are several different displays you can have. I like how it can show the weather information on the screen. The alarm has the capability to wake you to music or Lenovo’s standard alarm sounds.

Best $40 I’ve ever spent. I was skeptical at first because Alexa and Siri were never my thing but Google is where it’s at. Every morning I wake up excited to get my daily update and for this alarm clock to tell me the weather and play my music. It’s a great investment. Highly recommend!

I was looking for an easy to set alarm clock because my phone has failed me a few times. This Smart Clock does it's job and more. I love that I can audibly tell it to set an alarm and poof, it's done. It also allows you to have the alarm set to several days, a win for me. It will give you news updates, weather and traffic info. It will connect to music, I use Spotify, the speaker isn't loud but it's perfect for a bedside speaker. You can choose to snooze or not to snooze and how many minutes in between snoozes - sold!! Set up was easy with an app on my phone. Is it more expensive than a manual alarm clock, obviously, but who does anything manually anymore? Google, set an alarm for ... I absolutely recommend!!!

Bought this during the holiday sale. Wanted something more than a traditional alarm clock, but without a camera and nothing too complex to use. This was a perfect fit! The screen is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it's a good size for a nightstand. Connects to wifi and it's fairly easy to use. Sound system is very clear and volume goes up pretty high. The screen dims when the lights are off, which is nice - no bright lights shining in your face while you're trying to sleep. The alarm also slowly gets louder as it goes off and the screen gets brighter. So far have only used it for the alarm, news, weather, and to pull up recipes. Haven't had it for long, so I still have a bunch of features to test out. I don't know how it will hold up over time yet, but overall happy with the product so far!

Smart clock will not connect to internet. Best Buy will not assist since warranty wasn’t purchase. Lenovo says it’s internet and internet says it’s Lenovo

I needed a alarm clock that I could set different reoccurring alarms for each day of the week. My work hours differ depending on the day of the week. And yes my phone can do this but I can never find that thing half the time. When I first heard about this "Smart Clock" I knew this was the answer and wow was it. With a little customizing I got it to work the way I needed it to. Its basically a google home mini with a 4" display. Once you have it setup the way you want it you can just leave it and yell at it to add or remove any alarms you need going forward. I made list of pros and cons based on my usage and experience. Pros: Can change the clock face. Some clock faces have weather as well. Can add custom alarms to your hearts content. Has built in google assistant. Has hardware switch to disable microphone. Has wireless AC support. Can just tap it to snooze or turn off alarm. No fumbling for a button when half asleep. Display can auto adjust based on brightness (not on by default). Its the opposite of a phone. Darker room dims the display. Brighter room brightens it up. Different alarm tones. Alarm tones start low and get louder until alarm is stopped. Plays music and displays album art on display. Microphones work really well. Can make phone calls. Touch screen display. Display has a nice range of brightness and darkness. All settings are saved upon a restart or power outage. Has usb port that can be used to charge devices. Receives firmware updates via wifi. Cons: No backup battery so if power goes out so does the alarm clock until power comes back. Wish the display was about a inch bigger but thats just my personal opinion. Display is LCD not OLED but it does get pretty dark. I personally think this is a fantastic addition to the bedroom. It has officially replaced my "dumb" alarm clock and have been using it daily. I hope Lenovo continues to update the software and add additional features, clock faces, and alarm tones.
