I have two google home devices, and they tended to try to be too smart. Too big. Too many options for clock faces. This is just a perfect little bedside clock. It's small, unobtrusive, has a nice clock face that's not too bright or dim, and a good built-in speaker. My personal opinion is that it's a little on the pricey side if you pay full price. I was on the fence about buying one because of that, but I caught it on sale and haven't looked back. I actually like this better than my google nest assistant devices!

Perfect smart device for my kids room. IT has alarma clock, weather, and music. No camera which is critical for us.

It has good sound quality it gets loud enough I normally only keep it at half volume. The voice commands are very nice I pared at smart plug with my google home account and use this to activate voice commands to turn my lamp on and off. It is now what I use to play my spotify music. I to to be able to just say ok google play this play list, artist or song. It is kinda small so it really does not take up much space at all on my night stand.

I'm usually more of an Alexa/Echo kind of guy. But I wanted a smart clock by my bedside and already have a great Alexa enabled Sonos system in the room, and don't want the two to conflict with each other. The screen dims just right at night so it never keeps me up, but is always visible when I want to know the time. Adding some automations makes this even more useful. I love the handy USB port for charging on the back, but somehow keep forgetting it's there. The sound quality is much better than I'd have guessed. Not Sonos quality, but great for a wake up or quick song. It's a bit smaller in person than I'd guessed by the pics, but I actually like the size just the way it is. It fits perfectly on my nightstand without being obtrusive. I'm tempted to get another one for my laundry room.

Really love this google assisted clock! I bought 2. They are aesthetically pleasing and the digits are colorful, you can dim them or brighten them, set alarms easily, and plays music on demand! There are other features as well, but haven’t checked them all out as yet. Highly recommend!

Have purchased two of these, plan to get more. Easy to set up, love the auto dim screen. Much easier to set up than the competition model that they replaced. Lost wifi connection earlier today. Not the fault of the clock but my gateway/provider, was very easy to get back though... But the wakeup alarm still worked and that was a problem i had with a competitor model... No internet/no alarm... So this lenovo model works well for me even with wifi loss. But, YMMV.

This is a clock, first snd foremost, that is capable of giving you just the right amount of extra information. I don't need much data when I wake up. Time and weather do fine. Responds well to Ok Google commands. Sound is pretty good when casting. If you're good with giving up the video casting option, this little toy works well enough. Know what you're buying to avoid disappointment! If you want all the bells and whistles, go with the Google Home (Nest) Hub.

It is small, sounds OK, and has Google assistant. Best features: auto brightness level (it goes dark with the lights out, but you can still see the time) and if the power goes out, the time is reset correctly when the power comes back on. You can talk to it to set an alarm time. Very convenient. It can also play spotify music if you sync it with your phone. However, I can't get it to awake to music. Not sure if that is user error or feature shortcoming.

Nice little clock that incorporates Google for the smarts. The clock has a small footprint for the night stand and it allows for dimming the display brightness to your liking. As an alarm clock it does as expected. Set an alarm and it will go off as directed. My disappointment was the preinstalled tones. I find them to be too plain. Still experimenting to see if the presets can be changed. The display can be changed to one of 5 displays which should be more than adequate. As a smart clock it has access to the information Google can provide as well as control Google Home enabled devices. It will also provide an individual's daily schedule if enabled. I found the speaker within the device to be adequate for bedside use but in my opinion, it is not on par with the original Google Home as others have stated. Closer to the Google Mini than the original Home. All in all a great little smart clock and I would recommend if that is what you are looking for. I also have the Insignia version which is not as attractive as the Lenovo. I would like to see future versions have battery backup in case of power loss so the clock will keep time even though network capabilities would be lost.

Very happy with this smart clock. Got tired of using my phone as an alarm clock in the morning, and it was way too tempting to use my phone for more than just checking the time at 3am. This clock doesn't full fledged tablet capacities and I'd say that's a good thing. It can pretty much do what those old school alarm clock radios can do, but done by voice or by screen, go to sleep to music or nature sounds (through Spotify or Google/YouTube Music and it allows me to snooze by voice. Waking to Google even allows getting up to different alarms and a morning routine that includes the day's weather as well as updates to the news. Most importantly, I was worried about the screen being on all night. The clock goes into a dark mode that both dims and simplifies the display to just the time that's bright enough to read when its dark, but bright enough that the light wakes me up.

I got this as a birthday gift and it's the perfect size for an alarm clock! I considered buying the Google Home Hub in the past, but the screen was too big to be used as a clock, in my opinion. What I like about this clock is how simple it is. I essentially use it to play music and wake up in the morning. If you're looking for a "smart" speaker that does only a few smart things, give this a shot!

Easy to us smart clock. Dims screen at night, easy to see during daytime. Provides weather outlook and google will answers all your questions. Voice can be set to different accents. An excellent buy, set it up and forget it.

I snagged a couple of these for my 7 year olds as Christmas gifts. They are very responsive and can get fairly loud with decent audio quality. They are very clean looking and compact compared to my Alexa device. They are pretty great to have as back up alarms for morning time or special events. I will say that I caught my son cheating on his math homework by simply asking it the equations ...so keep that in mind lol.

I love this small smart clock with Google Assistant...It's the perfect bedside clock. It does way more than a regular alarm clock, or clock radio. I especially love the google assistant. as you can ask it questions, listen to music...I have not used the alarm part of the clock yet because I am retired and don't use an alarm to get up in the morning. But it's a great small profile clock with great sound !!

It is easy to setup, it works with the rest of your Google Assistant enabled devices. It has the form factor of a typical alarm clock. You can set it to auto mute and auto dim based on a schedule. Alarms are as easy to set as saying "Hey Google, set an alarm for 5:00 AM". It can play your music, it can even tell you a bedtime story. It can provide weather details. This clock is now part of my morning routine.

We have a Nest Hub in two of our rooms, and I love having the display. We have the original Nest Hub (no camera) in the bedroom, and thought it would be nice to have one in the guest room as well. The Hub Max has a camera, probably not the best feature for the bedroom ;-) but it is perfect in the living room, and integrates to the Nest Guard security system. When this was a Deal of the Day, I thought it would be good for the guest room, which has a small night stand. When it arrived, I was very pleased that it was even more compact than the Nest Hub Original, and is perfect for the guest nightstand. It as the display, so if you don't clearly hear the reply to "What's the temperature out?" question, it shows it to you for confirmation. It does all the Google Assistant tasks flawlessly, and integrates into our semi- Smart Home wonderfully.

Very easy to set up. Sync's to an App on your cell (Google Home). I've asked for the news, the weather, sports scores, geography info, "set alarm for ..." I also ask for white noise or Ocean Wave Sounds at night to help me sleep. Verbal commands for screen brightness, volume, etc. Sound is very good considering the size. I would buy it again.

I purchased this to replace my Google home mini in my bedroom because it does most of the same features plus is an alarm clock. I do recommend it if you're used to using smart devices. You can show your Google images on it the only downside is you can't play any sort of videos. It is great for everyday use. It would also make an awesome gift.

I love these things. I have them in every bedroom. They are used as alarm clocks, Google assistant, timers, weather stations, and as speaker groups so I can play a podcast or music and hear it throughout the house.

Very good sound for the size. The display, while not full-featured, is helpful. If you choose to stream music, the display will show current song and artist playing. If you set a timer, it will display the time remaining in addition to the current time. I don't know if I'd pay full price for it, but it's a good value when on sale.
