I like that it gets darker at night so it doesn’t keep you awake.

You can change the brightness of the Smart Clock's display within Quick Settings: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen with finger. To change screen brightness - Swipe up, then change the brightness. To have your screen change brightness automatically, tap Brightness. You can also use a voice command like - Hey Google, increase/decrease the brightness of the screen.
