Performance is terrible, when just browsing it quickly starts to lag and within an hour it will barely function. I had to install a cache cleaner and a kill all just to use it for basic browsing. I have very few apps installed as well. It's definitely not because of storage. I really just basically quit using it because of how bad it is.

The picture is really bright but not overly bright and 2k resolution for the money is awesome.

I was and I am disappointed due to the fact that not long after an update came into the tablet and it would not read micro sd cards, and it became so slow that it was useless. I bought a extended warranty with best buy, and they said they would repair it, they have not and its been over a month, nothing heard back from them, so they BOTH SUCK!

I hated to part with the old one, but it was time. The new one (3rd Gen) needed almost no setup and works perfectly. I will use it a lot for travel when size and weight are important. I prefer a tablet over a phone for things I might do in a hotel room like journaling, checking in to flights, reading my home newspaper, making reservations, even looking at a bigger view of Google Maps. I don't play games or watch Netflix, so I can't speak to such uses; but this tablet does everything I want.

My main purpose for getting the tablet was to have access to a local newspaper which worked out very well. I am finding many other uses for it even though I still use my laptop.
