I have never bought a open box item and I couldn't be happier. I wanted something simple to listen to music and for web browsing. It's a nice looking tablet and turns on quickly with a great picture and sound.

All the new Sansung tablets are too big so I hot this Lenovo. It does not have an easy interface. I'm constantly looking up how to do simple things. There is no quick access screen to change screen brightness, turn on blue tooth, and other settings. You have to go to settings every time.

First, regarding the interface, adjusting system navigation could help. You can toggle between gesture and 3-button navigation by opening Settings > General settings > System navigation. You can also search in the search bar in Settings for this. Regarding quick access to adjust brightness, toggle Bluetooth and more, swipe down from the top bezel of the Tab downwards and this should pull down a menu that enables you to do so. Except every few days it locks me out for no reason and won’t let me back in. Now the screen cracked for no apparent reason. I didn’t drop it. One day I picked it up and it was cracked across the screen. I have a full protective cover on it. I had a Samsung for many years with the same type of cover and it never cracked. I can only assume it’s not the same quality.
