Great everyday tablet
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great everyday use tablet. Beautiful display and good speakers. I use this for email, online shopping and basic game apps. Not quite powerful enough to run more robust games like Crossout. Good battery life. Would recommend.

Best decision, excellent tablet.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent performance. I was debating between a more expensive tablet because it had more RAM. It's not needed. For the price this M9 is excellent. It does everything I need I it to, emails, numerous apps. Battery life is superb. I don't use it for gaming but I do run lots of apps simultaneously and there's not a problem. The size is great and options for a condensed keyboard so I can still swipe easily. I purchased the rugged case and love it. It does make it bigger but very easy to grip and hold on to. I'm not worried about an occasional drop.

Very Impressed. Great little Tablet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used a Kindle reader since they came out, and after I retired I realized there are tons of books at the library that can be downloaded. But...not compatible with Kindle readers. My daughter had a Kindle Fire 8 she never used, and that (for reasons I don't know) is compatible with other types of e-book formats, so I'd been using it for a few months. I bought this M9 because I've also taken up the drone hobby (remember - I retired!) and using the cellphone screen to see what the drone is recording is just too difficult, and I see that lots of drone people use small tablets hooked to the remote. I bought this M9 strictly for the drone - BUT - once I opened it up and started playing around with it, I was VERY impressed with the picture quality and the ease with getting my favorite apps on her. She also loaded my library app with ease, and frankly loads the book I want in seconds instead of minutes like the Fire did. It's also lighter than the Fire, and navigating around it seems so much more intelligent than the Fire was. There is no comparison between this and a Fire. Is it a top notch tablet? - no, but depending on your needs, you might not need to get the fastest, sleekest one out there and be perfectly happy. I am. Also, I paid $140 for this and I saw the next day went on sale for $99 - and BB gladly refunded me the $40 difference with their price match guarantee. So the happy meter went up another notch. I've watched two movies and read my e-books about 4 hours so far, and I still have 48% battery life. And it works great on my drone. Quality of video is great, and I can see where my camera is pointing, plus easier to engage some of the screen buttons simply because they are bigger and easier to touch than on a cellphone screen.

Nice little tablet
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only use my tablets to read or play games so don't need one with a lot of features. This Lenovo is perfect for what I want. I debated on getting this because it is a little bit longer than my last tablet so is a little harder to just throw in my purse and take with me but it has worked out well. It is also much, much faster to turn on and has a quicker response when I want to change apps. It is a nice size to read from and I've had no problems downloading books or syncing it to my other devices. Overall, for what I use it for, this is a really nice tablet for the price.

The definition of value!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace a less reliable tablet we got our son a few months before. This Lenovo is the definition of value! At barely over $100 this thing is QUICK! And it has the kid zone system so you can control everything. Additionally, the battery life is insanely good. And it’s USB C. Bought a $20 case for it, too so it’s protected. Incredible buy. Lenovo is such a great brand! Can’t believe how great this works considering the price point. Can’t wait to pick up a better version down the road.

Budget friendly Tab
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo Tab M9 is a solid choice for those in need of an affordable tablet for everyday use, such as browsing, streaming, and light gaming. It’s particularly well-suited for individuals who prioritize portability and battery life over high-resolution displays and top-tier performance. For its price point, it offers a good balance of features that should satisfy the needs of budget-conscious consumers

A nice and inexpensive device
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I generally like the M9. After getting a solid case to protect it against falls, I ran the setup program to per-load apps that I have installed on an older Android. As soon as the install process was done, I installed an sd card to help with potential storage concerns. It wasn’t until the as was in place that I realized I couldn’t move apps over to the sd card. Bummer! The 32 gb main storage now sits at 28gb giving me less than 4gb of work space. That, even though I have an empty 32gb expansion card sitting idle. Ouch! Other than storage constraints, I like the M9. The clarity of the screen is more pretty good, and it is responsive to touch. It readily connects to my network, as well as connects to my phone’s hot spot when no network is available. For such an inexpensive device, this is a great bang for my buck.

Great budget tablet
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Made a perfect gift for my family. They wanted something slightly larger than their phone to do simple tasks without dishing out the price for an iPad mini. Does the basics and at a great price too!

Poor Samsung alternative
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on a Black Friday deal as a cheaper alternative to a Samsung tablet, and I regret it. Loading files via SD card or emailing attachments to myself is idiotically cumbersome, but it doesn't show up when I attach it to my computer via USB-C. This also makes it harder to move files between internal and external storage. Speaking of which, my 32GB filled very quickly with just OS and apps. I bought an SD to ameliorate that, but the apps won't move to the SD card. Lenovo's web site says some apps are designed to only operate on internal memory, suggesting that I have to tap on each one to see if a "Move to SD" button shows up. This is bad design but would be worth it if I could move some over. NONE OF THEM HAVE THAT OPTION, at least not the ones 100mb or larger which are the only ones worth checking. One app contributing to this bloat is GBoard, a Google Keyboard, because the default Lenovo keyboard doesn't have numbers across the top and puts other buttons in weird places. This is inexcusable in a day when passwords are required to have numbers. I already had a case and screen cover installed by the time I discovered this SD card issue, so I'll just have to limit my productivity for a few years until it's time for an upgrade to a grown-up device. I like Lenovo's computers and am typing this on one, but they are NOT there yet when it comes to their Android integration. If you don't have any Samsung Android familiarity, this might be a good purchase. But if you do, spend the extra money to get a Samsung.

Good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid little tablet. Was skeptical of Lenovo products but it wasn't bogged down with excessive junkware that I couldn't disable. The case options weren't great so you might have to shop around for those but skinomi makes a screen protector that is excellent. Haven't had this long enough to really road test it but it's been running fine for me so far.

The 9-inch display is bright and vibrant, and the MediaTek Helio G80 processor provides a smooth performance. Battery life is also top-notch, easily lasting a full day. The cameras are decent, but not spectacular. Overall, the Tab M9 is an excellent budget tablet that's perfect for everyday use. Highly recommend! 4.5/5 stars"
