Yoga 2-3 Pro pure crap touchscreens. And wifi issues galore. Thinkpad L380 works fantastic the it should.

Posted .The Lenovo ThinkPad L380 Yoga is compatible with a universal USB-c port replicator, which will also work with any Lenovo Yoga model with a USB-c port. For the best performance of any Windows 10 computer, be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer and that all of the supporting BIOS files and drivers are also up to date. With Lenovo products, this is easily accomplished by simply scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I came upon the L380 Yoga. It has a very comfortable, familiar keyboard. It is fast and light and beautiful.

This has been a great purchase so far - ultra fast, graphics are great and very lightweight. Really enjoy the laptop so far. Wish the battery was a little stronger.

Easy to install Linux on it, Fedora 32, which (now) drives the touchpad, touchscreen and multiple 4K monitors flawlessly. I use this for programming, watching movies, Zoom and Skype sessions, and social media. There have been none of the usual laptop + linux problems w driver dependency he11. I hear the fingerprint reader even works now. Because THE MEMORY SLOTS ARE UPGRADEABLE you can get a 32GB RAM machine for uder a thousand dollars. Caveat: I don't use it for gaming, so I cannot speak to the specific requirements of that community.

The ThinkPad L380 Yoga has an HDMI-Out port for an external monitor so you can directly connect any monitor that is HDMI compatible to the ThinkPad L380 Yoga. If your monitor is VGA or another for of connection, there are adapters that will link the HDMI port on the computer side and your monitor cable on the monitor side.
