I purchased this laptop after my other one had a faulty windows issue and crashed the hard drive. I have purchased Lenovo laptops on a few occasions and I have been more than satisfied with each of them for maybe 7 years now, and have noted that over the years, they continued to improve with both quality of the physical components and overall laptops. I have purchased 4 different models and all of them have been pretty good.
I wanted this laptop with a slightly beefier chip but it was on backorder and I was pretty desperate to get a computer prior to a Trial. As an attorney, I need a reliable laptop that has some specific features and can run my case management software which can create lag on a laptop. I have not noted any issues with the current chip in this laptop and it has performed very well with multiple applications open, case management software active, and a second, portable monitor attached. I also remote access in to another computer for work and have had no issues with that either.
The best feature I have liked so far is the keyboard. I am VERY particular about the layout and sensation of having firm, but comfortable keys and this laptop has a great keyboard. My favorite keyboard so far. Another feature I like is the brightness of the laptop that does not change with the addition of a monitor, which was an issue with other laptops I have found.
The laptop itself appears to be very sturdy and fits well in my travel backpack. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
