I was an need of a laptop due to my job as an remote instructor. The laptop’s physical feature was impeccable. The Windows 10 was not upgradable- i would receive errors when I tried to install Window updates. I called tech support.
I was informed that it will cost $150 for the technician to install the proper software.
To be honest, I had the laptop for about five days, could not use it properly, then returned it. I have purchased items from Best Buy for years and was greatly disappointed with my laptop purchase .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

For work this is a solid laptop that can run windows 11 and the full suite of windows apps. Thinkpads are tough laptops with good quality. The one ding I would put is that the speakers aren’t that great for consuming video.

This product was advertised as being refurbished but it appeared to be brand new. Very nice laptop for the money.
