Lenovo - Yoga 6 13 2-in-1 13.3" Touch Screen Laptop -First of the graphics are pretty great, I play my X-box one games on this they look pretty awesome; downside is although it's a great look it has some trouble running my games as it will stall and stop, I have great internet, so while the look is great it just okay for gaming, Watching Netflix is great on here, I've had no problems and the playback looks and runs smooth. Other good things about the Yoga, I can have 8-10 pages open with no lag, I really like the backlit keyboard for when my husband is sleeping and I'm up late. The CO-pilot is really great to have!! The sound is okay not as loud as I wished it could be, so I make sure to use headphones. what I don't like, no side number keys, it gets annoying having to head to the top to type every time I need a number! And the touch pad is HUGE, you'd think this would be a good thing but it's really not, it gets in the way it's so big, i just cut mine off completely and only use my screen and mouse. And the system to which I keep my pictures is a bit different than a Chromebook so if you like simple this isn't it, it takes so much time to organize my pic's when it shouldn't be this hard, If I try to delete a photo it gets them all, so I have to go back and keep junk I no longer want. All in all, it's a decent computer.

Bought it for myself when it was on sale for $550. Solid laptop, I love it. Mainly bought it for the 2 in 1 feature for school, but the laptop also can surprisingly handle some light to medium games such as Rainbow Six and GTA V perfectly fine. For me, the fabric feels perfectly fine as of now but I am a little worried about what's going to happen to it as it's constantly rubbed against my backpack.
Pros
Amazing battery life
Very fast
Light and portable
Charges by USB C
Great keyboards
Good screen
Overall very good for the price
Cons (a lot of these cons are very minor and isn't a big deal)
Webcam is pretty bad (720p but looks more like 480p)
No HDMI port or ethernet
The computer acts a little funny when I try to restart it, the computer kind of shuts off but the keyboard lights stay on, however, it doesn't respond to anything but a short hold on the power button(maybe it's just mine)
Pen isn't included
Not very upgradeable

Excellent laptop. 2 in 1 is always appreciated when a keyboard isn't necessary i.e. touch enabled games and netflix. Speakers are loud enough. Touchpad is smooth and reponsive. Bamboo Ink Gen 2 pen works very well with this unit. USB C charging is truly a game changer. I've charged this laptop with a lower output phone charging cube as well as higher output 60w cubes with no issue. Note: A lower power cube 15w will take longer to charge but will do the trick if you don't want to take a larger one along. Unit runs pretty cool for most tasks. It can handle some basic FPS games at lower resolution. If you are willing to tweak settings you can probably get 40 FPS in most games. I was satisfied with the speed of the SSD, however, 256 GB was on the small side for today's demands. I popped in a 1TB SSD NVME 2280 from Western Digital and couldn't be happier with speed and space. The fabric cover makes me happy. I like to hug this thing. Fans are relatively quite or off almost all of the time. Finger print reader works as promised. WiFi is quick to connect and has been consistently linked throughout my home. Brightness is never going to blind you but is adequate for most tasks and lighting conditions. I was able to get this unit on sale for $549.

This was a product I helped my daughter purchase.
She absolutely loves it. She says it is fast and does everything she has needed it to do so far. The Ryzen 5 is superb!
The fabric material on the top of the laptop is prestigious looking and the overall build seems very well done. Further, there is no creaking or popping noises when opening or closing the laptop.
My daughter also has a pen that she can use on the screen and likes the fact that this is a 2-in-1 that she can (essentially) convert into a tablet.
While I don't care for the size of the screen (13.3 inch), she prefers it to her previous 15.6 inch laptop; especially when using it as a tablet.
The only downside, that I can potentially see for the future, is that it only has a 256GB SSD. A viable solution to this is to buy an external drive or a jumpdrive (which you SHOULD have anyway...imo).
Finally, the price was just right for what we got. In fact, it was actually better than "just right" because we got it on sale. Quite honestly, it is worth every penny even if it isn't on sale.
Overall, very, very, very pleased with this little thing.

This laptop is pretty amazing. The performance from the Ryzen Pro5 processor (6 core / 12 thread) coupled with AMD Radeon graphics and only 8gb ram, performs better than laptops with I5 core and UHD graphics.
The Lenovo boots fast, opens and runs apps fast, and even runs games such as Half-life, F.E.A.R. smoothly on medium settings. Using a cooler, it never got hot, and there was no thermal throttling.
Actually - except for higher level games - performance is close to my other laptop running I7 core, 2gb Nvidea graphics, and 16gb ram.
With alloy covers, I did not find much flex - even when lifting the laptop from one corner.
The screen is excellent - very little to no light bleed around edges. Color was good, and using the Redeon graphics control center, was able to adjust contrast, brightness, hue, saturation, to achieve great display for movies and videos.
Keyboard has a nice feel, and a decent travel. Keys have 2 level back light. There is considerable leakage around front of keys that's noticeable if the laptop is held nearer to eye height.
Bluetooth surprised me - there was much less "lag" in audio. This made watching movies / videos much more enjoyable as the sound matched the video closely. Many devices I have used had a discernible lag in audio using bluetooth, which produced a noticeable sync issue between audio and video.
I feel there are a few small negatives - that if corrected - would make this one of the best laptops I have used.
The lack of micro SD port is inexcusable in my opinion as the SSD is only 256gb.
The only other small nitpicking, having 3 level keyboard backlight, and less light leakage from fron of keys.
Overall, one excellent laptop with a lot of performance in the mid-priced range.

I absolutely love this laptop
I got it when it was on sale for $550.
Battery life is great and the keyboard is very nice and travels really well.
The speed is great also given that I only use it for regular internet surfing and for school.
Love using tent mode while watching tv in the morning or in tablet mode while in bed.
There isn’t much to complain about this laptop
The visual and resolution is great as well.
I prefer the fabric material as well because I figure plastic covers can easily get dirty.
Laptop is very light weight as well and starts up pretty fast.
Honestly this is a steal when priced at $550 and I’m glad I didn’t go with anything more expensive such as an Apple MacBook

Picked this machine up as an open box special for $500. Was debating a refurbished HP Spectre 360 with a Ryzen 3 for $125 more. And while I liked the sleek, businesslike design of the HP, the far superior specs on the Lenovo won out in the end. AMD's Ryzen series of notebook processors have been getting rave reviews of late and so far this machine does not disappoint. I am not a hardcore gamer, so I can't really speak to cutting edge titles, but I can say that a couple of games I bought on Steam run flawlessly. Sonic All Stars Racing and Halo the Master Chief Collection are a pleasure to play on this machine, even when running on battery power. These are somewhat older titles, so that's probably not all that surprising but it's still nice to see, coming as I am, from a vintage Core i5 machine running an Intel HD 615 integrated graphics chip that struggles with the original PC version of Halo. It's wonderful to experience just how far laptop gaming on integrated graphics has come.
The build on this machine is odd. You can't really judge it by conventional standards, because it's not designed to look like a conventional laptop. If I were comparing this to the HP Spectre I might complain about the plasticky build, but keep in mind, this laptop is at least $300 dollars less expensive. Also, the denim material that covers the back cover makes it plain that Lenovo isn't aiming this machine at power business users. If the HP is a spiral-bound report on regional sales figures, the Lenovo is that dog-eared, well-loved spy novel you found in a drawer at your last vacation beach rental. Lenovo clearly doesn't want this to be the laptop you pick up to do the things you need to do on a computer, but rather the laptop you pick up to do the things you *like* to do on a computer. And you know what? That's fine by me. I work in IT. I've got stacks of dull-gray machines I can pick up when I need to get work done.
This is the machine I'll be taking with me on my next beach vacation. You'll probably find it on the coffee table... next to the dog-eared mystery novel with the circular, coffee-mug stain on the cover.

Both my boyfriend and I purchased this laptop on cyber Monday for $500!! I've been watching laptop prices and for the features this one offers, I couldn't beat it! Yes, it would be nice to have more than 8GB RAM, but this laptop is more than adequate for what I use it for. Pros: Size, screen resolution, ability to adjust backlit keyboard, 2 in 1, touchscreen, long battery life. It has it all! I like the fabric cover and chiclet keyboard. Would definitely recommend this laptop and you can't go wrong with Lenovo!

This machine is a small, cool, and portable powerhouse. I purchased it to fill in a void left by upgrading my Lenovo Edge 15 with an HP Omen, specifically in the battery/portability department. I've been using it for almost a month now and have basically zero complaints! I did remove Windows and install Linux on it (Manjaro, specifically, but also used Pop-OS and Debian at times) which did create some issues (later!) but nothing terribly use-impacting that wasn't fixable.
How it do:
Processor: The Ryzen 5 is probably the best performance-per-watt chip out there. Example: My brother has a Yoga 730 with the i5-8250u and in light-use apps the system heats up to a point where it's able to warm your hands! This R5 system does not. Internet/Email/Office tasks result in a mid-30c CPU temp with the CPU clocking up and down from its low-power base clock of 1.4GHz through its 2.4GHz boost clock. Despite the low base clock the system is VERY usable, and CPU power management (at least on Linux) seems to be great. This system also includes a 45W USB-C AC adapter whereas the Intel system has a 65W adapter, somewhat of an indication of how more efficient the 7nm R5 is compared to the 14nm 8250u. When running intensive single-core workloads the CPU clocks all the way up to 4GHz, which increases temps but nowhere near what an Intel book would do. All-core workloads see temp spikes up to around 70c but decreasing from there as the cooling fan spins up (it's almost never on) and clock speed stabilizes. Code compilations and make operations are pretty fast with the 6C/12T available, which also leaves a lot of room for virtual machines. I have a VM server in my home lab but if I didn't I would likely have no CPU-bound issues running VMs on this system.
Memory: Unfortunately, it's soldered to the board which is pretty normal for a Lenovo system. If you have the right soldering kit you can probably solder new modules onto it but that's beyond my scope. dmidecode shows that the board max capacity is 64GB but that could be inaccurate. It also shows that the memory modules installed are Micron 3200MT/s 1.2V DRAM modules, each 4GB for a total of 8GB which is a little small for today's standards but for general use I see ~4.2GB used with Firefox, Discord, Steam, Geary (email client), and a few terminals open.
Graphics: I was under the impression that this system had the AMD Vega iGPU, however it has the Renoir iGPU. Not as powerful, but *still* better than the Intel iGPU! Minecraft yields 60fps pretty constantly, something most iGPU systems fail to do. Haven't gamed much on it because I use it for web/email/terminals but never had any graphical issues BESIDES the amdgpu driver issue (later!).
Network: Pretty standard Ryzen offering, the Intel Wifi 6 AX200. Good chip. Maxes out my home network AP (Aruba IAP-205) at ~430Mb/s but with a Wifi 6 AP you'd likely see speeds much faster. No GbE onboard, but expected with the "Ultrabook" form factor. USB-C dongle gets 1G speeds, depending on your dongle quality.
Connectivity: Lots say that the USB-C port on the left side is CHARGING ONLY, but plugging a Dell DisplayLink docking station in works as expected, giving power, USB, DisplayPort/HDMI out, as well as GbE LAN in. At least, on Linux it does. The USB-C on either side *can* output 4K display resolution, depending on your dongle.
Disk: Pretty standard fare for newer laptops. lshw shows a WD SN530 256GB M.2. Linux write speeds with dd aren't great (~300MB/s via dd for some reason) but I think I need to tweak things. Boot times are very fast, as are any disk ops so I think that's just an issue with dd.
Chassis: Not aluminum. Some sort of soft plastic-like material. Not cheap plastic, but it's some kind of semi-rubbery soft plastic. Likely scratches easy, be careful. The lid has the soft "denim" material which is super cool and really easy to clean. Again, be careful as it could tear if abused. All ports are all in roughly the same area on both sides of the chassis, so no looking for them ("oh hey, didn't see that port on the very front corner of the chassis!"). Screen does the whole 2-in-1 flippy thing and turns into a little tablet. It's nice for video/touchscreen browsing but if you're using Linux find a distro that supports touchscreen. The blue color is my favorite part, gives the system a bit of uniqueness from the sea of silver laptops out there. The power button is on the right side and somewhat hard to press accidentally which is great, much better than the ones that are contained within the keyboard.
Display: One of the nicer displays that I've had on a laptop. Gets super bright, as well as gets super dark. IPS so nice viewing angles, good colors, 60Hz refresh rate. Not much I can say about it because I'm not a "screen guy" but it's nice. Touchscreen is pretty good, I think any issues I have are because I'm not using Windows. I do believe the display doubles as a drawing tablet with a stylus but can't verify as that's really not my use case, if it even works outside of Windows.
Keyboard: Actually a really nice keyboard. Light-ish key presses so typing isn't hard. One of the better keyboards I've worked with (between a Lenovo Edge 15, Lenovo S145-15IWL, 2007 MacBook, Dell Latitude 14, and a Dell Precision 3540) for terminal apps. Lots of typing doesn't hurt and the keyboard takes up most of the chassis giving large, spaced-out keys. No numpad, but not expected on a 13.3" book. Backlight is really nice, but could be darker as it has 2 settings: bright and brighter.
Battery: Nice, big battery. I think it's ~56Wh which is pretty large for a system this size. Battery life is 10+ hours depending on brightness. Sitting here typing this review with minimum brightness and backlit keyboard on the lowest setting I'm seeing 9h3m remaining at 68%. powertop reports ~5W used while typing this out in Firefox with most other programs minimized but still running.
Misc: Never used the webcam so can't say how it is but the one time it accidentally turned on it looked pretty good. Not like a phone/iPad camera but standard fare for laptops. Built-in physical privacy shutter is cool, stays closed 100% of the time. Touchpad is very responsive and has two "buttons" for left and right click. Speakers are...there? Sound quality is pretty good, I like that they're top-firing as opposed to the "at-the-table" facing speakers a lot of systems have. Volume is acceptable for a laptop system but won't get loud like some systems will. In Linux you can overamplify your speakers but I've never felt the need to with this system.
Issues: All those "(later!)" notes are here. Lots are Linux-specific and not problems with the laptop for ~90% of users. But these are issues to be documented.
First, and most noticeable, is that the fingerprint sensor doesn't work on Linux. Like, at all. You can see the device in lsusb (27c6:55b4 Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co.,Ltd. Fingerprint Reader) but there's no Linux driver available for it. No loss, I hear, because most fingerprint sensors on laptops use a pretty low-res scan of the fingerprint and are easily fooled.
Second and less noticeable, but more serious, is the lack of S3 sleep presented to the OS. This is due to Windows' "Modern Standby" which makes laptops act like phones and go into an ultra-low-power sleep state that, really, only works in Windows. Linux doesn't understand what the hardware is telling it to do so it goes into s2idle sleep. Not a problem by itself, but coupled with a bug in the amdgpu driver that causes hard locks when resuming from s2idle, it results in an unusable system. However, this is fixable with a bit of ACPI tweaking that presents S3 to the OS. Can't post links here but if you search for the laptop model number plus "S3 sleep fix" you should find some posts about it. Once that is patched the system will S3 for as long as the battery lasts (over a week on standby!) and wake immediately.
As with all Lenovo systems, firmware updates are Windows-only .exe files which is unfortunate but that's just how it is. Update your firmware before switching OSes, or have a bootable Windows disk for firmware updates on your system. Not a big issue but it is a gripe I have that likely won't change any time soon. Dell systems can update their firmware via GNOME software, why not Lenovo?
In general, a great system that somewhat-regularly goes on sale. Should last me quite a few years despite the somewhat-low RAM offering. Has some Linux issues but those of us who are weird enough to run it can fix most of them. Love the performance when I need it and love the battery life it gets! Great package that you can often get on sale for <$600 but even off-sale it's a great buy.

Pros: A great addition to my current desktop creative workstation. While 8GB of ram can be limiting on some prosumer activities (Adobe Suite for me), I have never had any real issues with this machine. Great battery life and portability. I love the Touchscreen fucnction. Mandatory accessory for it is the wacom bamboo windows ink pen, $20-40 and paired with a matte screen protector, makes it feel like putting pen to paper.
Cons: another reason why a matte screen protecto is mandetory is because it eliminates the unbelivable amount of glare from literally any source of light. The screen, while sharp in FHD is NOT that bright at all compared to other laptops i;ve used. If you want to use this outside or even next to a window, you'll need the matte screen protector.
The last gripe is a normal one for laptops but the webcam is worse than usual. it's ~HD~ but I swear to god I could whip out my 2009 iPod nano at the video would be better quality.
overall I still do highly recommend the machine for the price to performance!

Ryzen 4650u processor smokes Intels 1165g7 in Blender (3d graphics program) using Cycles. On average I'd say it's about 75% faster.
Same story with PS2 emulation. 1165g7 barely runs complex scenes from Gran Turismo 3. It's hard to put into words but with Ryzen it almost felt like it had a built in PS2 decoder - it was that good.
The integrated graphics are another story. While the Radeon graphics are capable, and run more of my favorite demoscene demos, Intel's Xe graphics seem to be at least 2.5x faster with sites like shadertoy.
The only thing I didn't like about this laptop were the speakers. Bass and midrange are almost nonexistent. Synthetic quality to the sound which I could not look past so I returned the laptop.
That having been said, I would recommend this Yoga 2-in-1 to a friend.

Overall in my experience of using this laptop, I see it as a good value and one of a kind laptop. The Fabric on this laptop makes it unique. The laptop has good specs for the price and when it’s on sale you’re getting lots of value, however for the past 4 weeks of me using the is laptop I’ve seen that there are a lot of issues. Hopefully there will be some more BIOS updates and a fix for the issue I experienced in the picture below.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 6 13. First, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed and the issues continue, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. I bought this laptop to replace my old one for school. I didn't need anything fancy; something that I can write word documents and PowerPoint presentations with and using the web for doing schoolwork. I do like that I can use the touchscreen to sign documents.
I don't use the tablet function on this. It's a little awkward and I have an iPad to do that with. I mostly use this in it's laptop mode. Very rarely do I flip it around in it's "tent" setup to watch movies, or such.
What I wish it was better at was screen brightness. I found that I couldn't be close to a window, otherwise I would have difficulty looking at the screen, even at max brightness.
Overall, I like the feel of the "denim" fabric. It gives it a unique look. The battery lasts forever. I can spend upwards of 16 hours on it before I have to charge. It's a great laptop for non-gaming.

Excellent laptop. Very portable and with a great and beatiful design. Fast and perfect for your job/college, but also very much capable for something more (gaming/video editing). Can't say anything bad about this laptop. It's a solid 5 for me.

I've owned a dozen or so laptops over the last 20 years and for speed and portability, I like this one best. I plan to upgrade the storage to a 1TB Samsung M.2 NVMe drive whenever my T5 Torx screwdriver arrives. You'll need that to take the back off.
Considering the size & weight, it's perfect for me. Not too big and not too small with plenty of speed. I updated the BIOS to the latest version and installed Windows 10 Pro 20H2. Very happy with it, so far. Be sure to download the User Guide and Hardware Manual from Lenovo-- they are very helpful.
