My brother taught me some things and wanted to play an online game called Rust with me as well. This laptop is great for both, I use this laptop every day, it loads fast, performs amazing, and can even run modern games, just remember or lookup how to remove bloatware. For not having a laptop or computer before to now I definitely reccomend this laptop

I bought it as a gift for my daughter, and she adores it. Battery life has been just okay. The build quality is not the best. But it is very fast, the screen is great, it supports pen input and the keyboard/trackpad are excellent. It's a five star product for $550, four stars for the regular price of $700.

This unit model #82FN003TUS has an estimated battery life of up to 18 hours. If you are getting substantially less battery life, please adjust your screen brightness settings. A setting of 100% brightness will drain your battery much faster than a lower setting. We recommend setting the screen brightness to some value below 100% that is still comfortable for you to view. Next be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. It's lightweight, has a good build feel with a nice cloth-like top cover. The performance is great and works well for his online work. Since it has USB-C it connects to a larger monitor at the desk while allowing multiple other connections. Very good choice for both mobile and desk-side computer. We also added the extended service as years of use are expected here.

I needed to find something he'll be able to open multiple applications. it's proven to be fast enough to handle everything he'll throw at it. Plugging a second monitor in with the HDMI port works smoothly. Simultaneously open documents, spreadsheets, multiple web pages, and music player with only 68% RAM usage. Fortnite and Youtube play without lag. All that wrapped in a blue jean cover looks great and keeps it looking slick and clean.

Went with a smaller screen this time, which is easy to adjust to. Improved placement of shift key for fewer keystroke errors. Still adapting to the need to keep a lazy finger from causing the cursor to jump up a line or left/right. Like the classy blue fabric cover, long lasting battery and quick charge. I highly recommend this model!

He loves it and says the speed and memory is just (or more) what he needs for college. He has built his previous two desktops so I was nervous about purchasing something that was not high performance. AMD Ryzen is unusual for this price. The fabric-like surface makes it easy to grasp when you are in a hurry and the machine seems durable.

I understand this is a huge leap forward from my 7 year old HP Envy Notebook, but unfortunately I had to return it because I need more than 1-2 ports. I had to purchase HDMI adapters and wouldve had to buy more adapters to fit all the USB accessories I use. For the price I already paiud, it just wasn't worth it. If youre not plugging very many things in and just using it as a notebook, I am sure this will work out great for you.

Perfect size for my always being on the go, yet big enough that I don't feel like there's not enough screen. Keyboard is comfortable and the backlight is an awesome bonus. Thought the fingerprint reader was a little small, but despite its size, have not had a single time that I have put my finger on it and it hasn't worked. Smooth, fast, love it!
