This was supposed to be my upgraded laptop from a previous Lenovo for college. This laptop sucks.
Within the first month, it crashed once or twice. I thought it was due to overheating so I waited until the holidays to get a laptop stand. That and being in colder rooms helped, but I don't think it is the cause of my problems. I don't know what the problem is. Between September to December, this laptop has crashed so many times. Crashed to where the screen will freeze, to the blue screen of death with different stop/error codes that will restart my laptop. To glitching in the screen and the laptop itself will make a sound like it is overloaded after someone threw water on it (I can't upload videos but it's the 2nd picture). I haven't done anything to it.
This is absolutely ridiculous. I try to speed through my work and tasks so my computer doesn't give out in the middle of important work. For every larger program I have downloaded, I made sure there was more than enough space for it and the rest of the applications I would need. The specs said it can handle this stuff but it seems like it can't. Even getting rid of big programs (Adobe, Capture One, or League of Legends) this computer still crashes (so I redownloaded most of them and make sure nothing else is open).
The most crashes happen simply from Google Chrome. This computer absolutely hates Google Chrome. 95% of the crashes are when chrome is open and it is usually the only application open. That's what happened when these 2 pictures were taken. The only other time is when I tried playing Genshin Impact, but I took that off my computer because I thought that was what was causing my problems to get worse but it's just as bad from before I downloaded the game.
I will not pay for Lenovo Vantage to fix the problems because that is not sustainable. I would much rather buy a new laptop from a different company than try to fix this lousy one.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Yoga 6 13, model number 82FN0003US. First, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10/11. This includes any legacy software/games you have installed from your old computer. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10/11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If there is no incompatible software installed but the issues persist, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10/11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10/11. This Operating System Software update process through the Lenovo Vantage APP does not cost any money and is available throughout the life of your computer, for free. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10/11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

This 2 in 1 is a great laptop. Moving from a 6 core XPS 15 I was not sure what to think. I’m glad I made the purchase. The Ryzen processor is fast and does not get as hot as my XPS. Size is a huge difference going from 15” to 13”, but the keyboard is still comfortable and the trackpad is way better than my XPS. Touch is responsive but the rotation to tablet mode is delayed about as much as other 2 in 1s I have used. Fabric cover is weird. It feels cheaper than an smooth cover, but it’s just different really, nothing negative to the system, it just takes some getting used to if carrying this thing around a a lot; which I definitely do a lot more than my bulky XPS.

Really fast! The fabric feels good (will not try the peanut butter test). This R7 and 16gb RAM model beats most of the other ultrabooks I've tried (envy, spectre, etc). Screen is 16:9 and I wish was it 16:10 but it still does the job!

Good overall. A bit too small for my fingers at 13". Would have been perfect at 14 or 15".
Could also use a few more USB ports.

I really wanted to like this computer. Bought this for my daughter for college, but the first time she needed use this for more than 20 mins. It disconnected from the wifi. She restarted and the could not see anything. The school IT dept. restarted it again and it could connect to the wifi but for only about 15 min. before it disconnected again. She brought it home and I check drivers and lenovo's support pages. Followed steps that they have on their website, then spent 2 days trying to get the computer to even see that it has a internal wifi card. Now it sees that, but disconnects again. Nothing has helped for a laptop that is portable, this is unacceptable. We have a ticket for service to call us back, but at this point we bought a usb wifi adapter just so she can use this at school. Never again.
