Overall satisfied with performance and is rightly priced. Might need some drivers manually updated through Lenovo support site for the OS to function without BSODs.

Charging unit for this laptop get really hot while charging… is that normal?

At first, I decided to give it a try as I am an Apple user. But it’s been four months and I am very disappointed with the issues I’m having. My touchscreen stop working and it does not want to connect to my Bluetooth ergo mouse. After an update I started to get the blue screen telling me “something went wrong” It tried to self repair for 30 minutes and nothing happened. Best Buy try to get me with $150 repair or $199 annual charge. I mean I just got the laptop four months ago and started using it two months ago when school started. I should have gone with the MacBook.

I just bought this laptop 1 week ago and already dissppointed with the battery capability. This new laptop does not even last the whole 7 hours when in use compared to the up to 17 hours advertised. I dont even use this for games, used only for web searches, emails, online books. I bought this laptop so I can take it to work and not bring the charger but I was wrong.

Something wrong with the hinge. Fear that I’ll need to replace it within a year.

I recently purchased this laptop and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The laptop is fast and reliable, and the touchscreen is a great feature. The design is sleek and modern, and the battery life is impressive. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Great size for travel, nice processor, touchscreen is very responsive, touch pad lags a little but use a wireless mouse, battery life is running more than 8 hours with consistent use. Perfect for running our small business.

Hey it is great for my use. I initially purchased an LG gram 17" and it was not as expected. I use my laptop for cloud based software for work from home or on the go. I find the screen size is big enough. It is slim and light. It starts fast and flys online with multiple tabs open. It has all the necessary ports including an hdmi that I use to connect to a massive 32" Samsung monitor seemlessly. The battery lasts a full work day. At this price I am very happy with my purchase and think it a much better choice for my use than the over priced LG Gram 17". I only wished I got the deal going today for the model with 16 ram 500 storage as mine was the 8 and 256 respectively. Oh well I really dont need that anyway for my use.

I love this machine. The size is perfect, I really appreciate the texture top as well- it adds character and is cute. The touch screen works seamlessly and I appreciate the double USB and double USB C ports- I often use the HDMI connection as well. The machine does heat up and gets warm and the fan isn’t the quietest but I really have come to appreciate it’s this machine for what it offers.

(I purchased this item as a HS graduation gift. This is the recipient's review.) I rated the battery life and display highly, so why wouldn't I recommend it? I have listed in order of priority why I wouldn't recommend this laptop. First, I understand that laptops don't last for long. Like smartphones, they aren't meant to be repaired (unless there's a major hardware issue), it's just a given that they are to be replaced in 3-5 years. The problem with this laptop is that it didn't give me even a single year. I received it in June of 2023, and by September, it was experiencing major lag issues. It couldn't keep open Firefox and a simple art program like MediBang Paint at the same time without becoming hot enough to cook an egg (and that's set on a cool, well-ventilated surface). The art program would lag to an extent that made it unusable. My previous laptop gave me 4 precious years before reaching this point. Secondly, the false advertising. I don't think this laptop would be terrible if you were just writing emails and typing word documents all day. But this was advertised to me as a "gaming laptop". When I spoke to BestBuy representatives, I was told it was suitable for graphic design, and that the processor was strong enough to run Minecraft. Which was misleading- perhaps the humble AMD Ryzen 5 could run Minecraft, but not on this device. This device struggled to render stopmotion animations with 12fps frame rate. Finally, the trackpad. This is a hardware issue, but since receiving the product new, the trackpad has varied wildly in sensitivity and after about 30 of use, dead spots appear. I tried all of the troubleshooting options; calibration, drivers, etc; nothing fixed it. What are the pros? Nice battery life, with a cord that isn't too easily warped with use; the touchscreen is responsive, the computer is lightweight and small without being cramped.

This is definitely one of the best laptops I have ever owned! Its so versatile and convenient to use and never lags plus it keeps a great charge and I love all the extra features like finger print scanner and touch screen. Overall an amazing machine. I would definitely recommend

I would still have this device if my eyes were better with smaller screens. I ended up getting a larger screen version of the similar family of this device. But so good, very portable although a bit heavy for its size compared to Apple and Chromebook devices. And I wish it was fan-less, so you do have to keep its vents on the bottom freed up. It worked well with two attached displays as well, and has little features to it that Lenovo does well ergonomically and functionality-wise with its hardware and backlit keyboard as well. Great medium to medium-high range device. Very recommended.

My wife is thrilled with laptop. Not a big as her work laptops or other home machines. She can easily take it anywhere. It is plenty fast for her. The textured fabric external shell is nice touch. I hope it wears well with time.

This is my second Lenovo laptop and I continue to be impressed with each one. Even at sub-$500 pricing, they look and feel high quality, with decent tech specs and features such as FHD webcams, fingerprint login, backlit keyboards with good feel, and attractive designs. The denim-like cover with its shiny, embossed YOGA lettering is nicely paired with a shiny but discreet brushed and embossed Lenovo plate on the opposite edge. The blue-gray outer frame and inside panel have a slightly grippy texture as compared to the smooth mouse touchpad and keys; it's great for not showing fingerprints! The speakers are loud enough for personal use, and the hinges for turning it into a tablet (or tent) for watching movies are smooth and have a substantial feel. In comparison to HP laptops I have owned in the past, I much prefer the Lenovos.

Laptop is perfect size and was so easy to set up. Works great and is lighweight and easy to take with me wherever I go. Love the touchscreen and the fact it has an USB port.

I had bought this for school and it is wonderful. Flipping into tablet mode makes reading online books a breeze and the touch screen makes it even better. It is very fast and responsive and is great for streaming movies as well.

Was in the market for a new laptop after giving away a Lenovo Chromebook Duet 3. Found this gem as Open-box - Excellent condition and after looking at it - found out it was the display model - was in pristine condition like brand new. I've had it for some time and I love that it feels so light that I forget it's in my backpack. The denim cover gives it a unique look as well. Lenovo definitely makes well made products and will continue to be my go to for my computing needs.

The screen is good even off angle. The Ryzen 7 processor along with the 16GB RAM can handle most anything you can throw at it as long as it's not too graphics intensive. You can do some light gaming on it but for anything serious you'd need to spend a lot more money and get a gaming laptop. For most applications this is way more than the average person should need.
