Honestly there was nothing wrong with this computer. I only owned it for about a week. I had purchsed it as a replacement for a Surface pro that was stolen. After a week I just wanted the Surface pro back, so I returned this and got that.

This laptop was purchased for my granddaughter for her first year in college. It is exactly what she wanted and. needed, at a great price! Off to school with great equipment!

I had high hopes when I purchased this machine. Right price and right specs. Startup was not seamless as there was almost no documentation. Yes, some of the reviews were correct. The fan was a little loud but not terrible. The machine got warm but not uncomfortably hot. It looked good and ran like a bear before problems started. It siezed-up and would not come back when I was down loading software. The off switch was for design only because the unit would not turn off. It did it three times. It went back to Best Buy the next morning and still would not shut off and the fan would come on even 12 hours later - good battery life??? Best Buy gave me back my complete purchase price but, beware some of the clerks who work at Best Buy do not know either the correct register operation of the warranty or the plus membership items. When I did not buy the plus member ship the “gentleman” cancelled my regular membership and put items on my credit card that I paid cash. Now all I have to do is contact Microsoft to cancel my purchase that got lost in the middle of the down load. Ever try that?

For a small computer, it is well built and sturdy. The keys on the keyboard are larger than most making it easy to use.
