Great Machine For the Money

This machine is far more. It is a much cheaper alternative to the surface with plenty of power and speed to run Microsoft office, web browsing, movies, etc. Very light weight and thin making it great for travel or school. Very sharp and clear video. This was probably what surprised me the most. I definitely recommend this.

Installed anti virus with no noticeable performance loss. My wife uses it for surfing, social media, paying bills, watching videos, and movies. No problems at all. SSD, and 4 GB of DDR 4 are a nice bonus. I bought her a little lesser spec, other brand model, and returned it. No regrets on this purchase!!

With regard to the touchpad issues you mention with your device, this is caused by a recent Windows 10 update and there are driver updates for your specific system that can fix this issue. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. Use the "Automatic Update" feature to be sure you get all of the updates your specific device needs. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Yoga 720-12. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window. Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Concerning the battery life of this device, this model has a battery life of up to 6 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. To maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Great laptop, awkward tablet

Materials fit and finish are the best I have seen. The display is amazingly crisp and clear. The screen is also very bright. I can turn the screen down to less than half in the typical room. I cannot speak to outdoor full sun yet. Because the machine is so light and the screen is so crisp, I find myself browsing news or reading in tablet mode at very low screen intensity which is easier on the eyes. Just felt that the tablet mode is not very convenient if thats the main intention of purchasing this.

Worth more than it looks

Saved some good money by looking at that small section in the store-check it out sometime. Overall this laptop performs very well, light weight, thin, and holds up to any program with its i3 and solid state. Also compatible with Windows ink. Didn't work out for someone but it did for me.

Great Laptop

They had been using my MacBook Pro so I was afraid this one may not meet their expectations but they claim to like it just as much if not better. I did not research before buying...I just went off of suggestions from a sales person working in the department and his info was correct! Only problem we had in the beginning was the mouse would not show up on the screen at times when switching from tablet to laptop, however, it seems to have stopped happening. Great laptop!

It is small and light enough that I can easily bring it with me to work or where ever. The only issues I have found is that if you let the screen time out, sometimes the computer goes into tablet mode which makes the cursor pad go unresponsive. The only way I've found to fix it is to restart the computer. Also, and this is within the last month or so, the forward button ( -> ) is sometimes unresponsive. Would still recommend!

First bought a MacBook Air

Brought it back and came back for the one I was originally looking for and wanting. I love it, I love I can flip it to tablet mode. The battery life seems short but still love the laptop as a whole.
