I use it for business, the touch screen and ability to turn it into a tablet help with redlining agreements, and signing documents on the go. It's also lightweight and small, so it's easy to stick in a purse or a bag and travel with. Con, the power button is on the right side and is easy to accidentally press when you are picking it up or moving.

It's also very light weight and not huge so it's easy to carry from class to class. It's a fast computer with lots of great features, only problem I noticed is when you run a lot of tabs at once the computer hums and it's very noticeable.

This is a high performance system with its Dual-Core/Four-Thread Intel Core i5-7200U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state hard drive. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

ADEQUATE BUT PRICY

I think the size is perfect for both portability and use. The drive is small but the PC otherwise seems fine for a student. I also gave her some USB-C adapters and some micro SD cards, so she should be ok. She will learn to love Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

She couldn't be happier with the speed and performance of this Lenovo Yoga 720. The SSD hard drive, 8GB of memory, and the i5 processor all blow her last PC's specs out of the water. I'm a bit concerned at only having 128 GB of hard drive space, but I've got plenty of external storage to manage anything we can come up with. Definitely happy I picked this one.

It is frustrating, but the laptop is touchscreen and you can save your files before restarting the computer. The sound on the laptop is amazing and the speed is also convenient.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. The issue you describe with the touchpad cursor could be caused by a recent Windows 10 update. You can check this by scanning the device with the Lenovo Utility software installed on this device. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I wanted a Surface but it was too expensive. The Lenovo Yoga gave me many of the features the Surface Pro does but at half the price. The Yoga is great! It is lightweight, responsive and fast. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Powerfull enough to get the job done, but small and light enough to bring with where ever you go! I only gave 4 stars because I had some issues with the track pad not working after the computer went to sleep. A quick firmware update fixed that issue.

With regard to the issues you mention with your device when changing from tablet mode back to laptop mode, there may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. Found it very easy to take with me every where and use in coffee shops , etc. Plus the touch screen is a feature I've never had and love how that helps me get to where I want to be online much faster. Fingerprint log in was new to me too, and love that. So far, everything seems terrific about this laptop. I've used a Lenovo in the past and been very happy, so I continued with this brand.

Very nice but the fan is annoying

Tried all the updates and bios settings etc but every now and then it's still loud. Never had that issue on the 710. But it's great for being a compact and light laptop. I have no need for carrying around a 15 inch one, so this is perfect.

Nice Laptop but had some issues

It is a great laptop, however the touchpad becomes unresponsive when the laptop recovers from tablet mode or wakes up. I bought two for my daughters and it happened on both. The fix is easy, but this is an issue that should not have shipped with the laptop. If you go to Lenovo' s website and update all of the drivers and Bios it will fix the problem. This just should not be something that makes it passed qc and out in a finished product. It also took me a while to identify what was causing the fault.

I have not had many issues with it, besides the fact that the fan can get pretty loud (especially in class). If there are too many apps open (for me it was PowerPoint and my web browser) the fans can go off and become pretty bothersome to people around me. Also, the speakers are in a bit of a weird position, at the bottom. If you don't mind the muffled sound or use the speakers often, then it should not be much of a problem. Besides that, the quality of the sound using headphones is nice. The performance is fast and it has options that help preserve battery. So it has the ability to last longer, However, I do not believe that it is good for heavy gaming, It also works very well in tablet mode. I just wish there were more hard shell cases out to cover it. It is pretty fragile. Overall, I like it for now,

You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal. Concerning the audio on the device, there are two stereo 1.5W Harmon Speakers that are mounted on the bottom front edge of the device. There is also Dolby Atmos sound enhancement for improved listening with headphones. Be sure Dolby Atmos is turned on and adjusted to your preferences when you are using headphones for the optimum audio experience.
