Very fast. Have used it for browsing and streaming. The only complaint I have is that the battery runs out quickly so I just leave it plugged in most off the time.

Decent little computer

The fan runs whenever you have a few to many tabs open, and the computer can get pretty hot. That is to be expected with a computer so small. The only issue I really have with it is that the speaker randomly starts making static noise while watching a video. It doesn't have a particular note or sound that causes it from what I can tell. A previous Lenovo laptop I had also had speaker issues, so maybe it is just a brand defect.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the audio on your Lenovo Yoga 720-12. This may be due to a hardware or software issue that Lenovo Utility software may be able to repair. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

It works well as a tablet and it has decent screen and graphic quality. The biggest con is that when the computer is put to sleep, the cursor disappears. I usually have to restart the computer for the cursor to return. It hasn’t impacted my use, as I shut the computer down completely when done. My tabs and saved work is still present once I start it again. Overall, I’d recommend the product and don’t regret the purchase.

It is very fast and I love the touch screen and fingerprint reader. The battery is great and seems to last a long time. The only problem I have with it, is that my mouse pointer will disappear when the laptop goes into sleep mode. It doesn't happen every time but when it does, I have to restart the laptop to get it to come back. I haven't figured out how to get it back without restarting it. Other than that, it's a great laptop.

I also wanted the 2 in 1 functionality, but not at the price of a surface. So far this has been a good purchase as it fits what I was looking for. Two downsides: 1) relatively short battery life, and 2) few ports. I has one regular usb port and one usb-c port, so adaptors may be necessary. I'd be sure to point out those issues before recommending.

With regard to the ports on the Yoga 720-12, this is an ultra portable, 2 in 1 configuration. There is limited space for ports. There is one standard USB port and one USB-c port. If you need more USB ports, you may need to use a USB Hub.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

After a subpar experience, we decided to return and give a small for factor laptop the task. Bit more as far as price but also a much more capable. Battery life can be on the short side if she's running a game but this is a device the entire family can utilize on family trips and such. Excellent build quality and plenty of features.
