It flips well into a tablet. Only thing negative to say about it, is my mousepad started to stick within a few weeks of having it. Overall still a great computer so far!

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. This may eliminate the sticking you are experiencing when using the touchpad, as you won't need to press as hard.

solid overall laptop

There are various range of quality tiers depending where you get your laptop but Best Buy offer the best quality. I haven't had any issue with it so far. It's little and portable for the price I paid. I won't rave on the fact that they don't have all the features but realize that is usually a business move.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 720-12 is an ultra portable, 2 in 1 computing device. It ships with the powerful Dual-Core/Four-Thread Intel Core i5-7200U processor, supported by 8GB DDR4-2133MHz RAM. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal. For 2018, Lenovo retained its place for a second year as the best laptop vendor:

Better than an iPad as it has Windows functionality, and performs very well both as a laptop or tablet. Windows runs well, but the touchscreen and the pen really make this a great tool for work, school or just doodling artwork. For the price I’m especially impressed.

Try using a different PDF software like Word (Word will convert the PDF into an editable Word document, you can edit the document, then save it as a PDF) to get for functionality of the Active Pen.

The only negative as of right now is that the hard drive is 128 gb but the software and stuff that came with the laptop uses over half of that itself. Its very easy to handle beacuse its light weight.

Good overall, but had BIOS issue

I won't even notice the difference when having it in my backpack. However, the mouse cursor kept disappearing after wake up from sleep. I hope this can be fixed with an BIOS update.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-12. You can update the operating software on this device easily by using Lenovo Utility software installed on the device. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

My Best Buy sales person recommended this and I love it! Many friends have questions about it as it can be a laptop or a tablet. With the features to write on the screen with the bamboo pen and it converts it to a document is great for taking notes and not loosing them!
