It's a little more heavy than I like, and a little clumsy to use as table-only since the keyboard is not detachable. But they are the only compaints - the computer is fast and responsive. I got it under 700 including taxes, and I think that's a great price for this laptop.

fast little machine which seems to have the power i need. Using this to replace my desktop and although it only has 256Gb of storage, using a cloud drive or plug in drive should be more than enough. Only thing is it could have one or two more USB ports.

I have purchased 2 of the same laptops over the last few months. First, in July, for a college student. Then, in September, for my 15 year old. Both had the same issue which was quickly resolvable with a call to Lenovo support. The (known) issue is really loud fan noise. My college student noticed it within the first few days. We called Lenovo support, they fixed it, and it's been fine since. So, when we had to purchase a second laptop, and this one was on a good sale, we went ahead and bought it. The fan noise was still an issue, and we made the same call to Lenovo support and it was fixed. So far, no issues since then on this pc either. Hopefully, newer releases of this laptop will have this issue fixed (bios update), but if not, and you don't mind a short call to support to resolve, it's a good option.

    Beat all the Apples!

The Macbook 13 is way overpriced compare to the Yoga 720 13. Too bad Best Buy had to increase the price on this one, but for the same i5, 8GB, and 256GB SSD, which I got for $729 at Best Buy, there is nothing Apple's got that can touch this. The Yoga 720 is under 3 pounds and lighter than the Apple, for many hundreds less, with better build quality and also has a fully functional touch screen that works with a stylus too, and not just a silly strip. Even if you step up to the i7 package you'll still be at least $300 less than the Apple with an i5. The Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port which I've verified works great with external GPU allows to beat the like of the ridiculously overpriced and heavier Razer Blade Stealth by nearly $1000 dollars. I was gaming on this thing with a GTX1070 (borrowed from my desktop gaming machine) in the eGPU hooked up to the TB3, and the Destiny 2 beta played more than well enough. And all this in a 2-in-1 package that is super travel friendly.

Love the design and functionality of a 2 in 1 computers. The 720 has been working reliably for the past couple of months now. Only issue is the occasional hiccup when I have too many things running at the same time. First thing to go is the touchpad sensitivity. It tends to get slower as more apps use memory. Windows 10 runs smoothly on this machine. Graphic display is enough for what I use the computer. I use it for work and training. It could handle running multiple apps at the same time and will let you know when it starts to get overwhelmed. Other than that, it’s a great, reliable machine for just about anyone.

I tried several other computers before deciding on this one but soooooo glad I did. I didn't think I wanted to go smaller than 15 inch. as I was downiszing from a big 17 inch. Well, I loved the ease of handling the yoga 720. It has everything!!! SSD drive is fantastically fast. Screen is large for a 13.3 inch plus it has a back lighted keyboard and decent speakers. I hook up to external speakers for music thou. For that reason, and a mouse, i do wish it had one more USB connection however, adapters are available for expansion for all your needs. A sacrifice to be made for smaller and lighter.

Pros: Lightweight and thin, a macbook sleeve works for this 12" wide pc; this pc does not heat up quickly or much at all (its warmest was initially getting the computer started when first purchased; it has never been too warm to sit on my lap); easy to keep clean; love working with other promised features: touch-screen, 360 motion, auto-rotate to vertical view for tablet use; backlit keyboard; shuts down, restarts, and wakes up from sleep very quickly (less than 4 seconds). Love the options for security--fingerprint reader, code, etc. A power cord with a regular grounded plug was a major reason for me to go with this computer vs. another. Cons: auto-rotate for tablet function is slow. I have to rotate this 180 degrees to get it to consider rotating, and then rotate it back 90 degrees to get to a vertical/portrait position. When typing, I constantly find my cursor has jumped somewhere random and I am not typing where I should be typing. Not sure what is doing this. In case you were hoping to Skype with the pc set up tent-style, think again: the camera does not rotate its view and you will be upside down to your friends. I have been having trouble maintaining internet connection . . . but this might be our router. I wish this came in a funkier color -- rose gold, dusty brown, copper! It might, but I did not see that carried anywhere. Otherwise, pretty happy with a powerful tool which came beautifully packaged and does the job--travelling or at home.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-13. Concerning slow auto-rotate feature, you can follow the link that follows to Lenovo.com support and scan your device for any driver updates you may need. It sounds like there my be an old driver effecting the auto-rotate feature. Here's the link for your system:  http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-720-13ikb/80x6/80x6002jus/downloads. Also, about the curser moving when you are typing, it sounds like you may be inadvertently touching the touchpad as you type. You can dial down the sensitivity of the touchpad by doing this: You can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Finally, concerning the web cam rotating for use in tent mode, be sure you are selecting "yes" in the window that pops up that asks you if you want to use tablet mode. The camera should rotate just like your screen does when you are in tent mode. lenovo

This is my second Lenovo Laptop/Tablet. The first one is still working after 10 years or more, just too outdated to upgrade, so I was a little biased toward Lenovo to begin with. What I love about this computer is that it's small and truly portable if you need to carry one around. It's one of the faster computers available, has the processing capability to run Microsoft Access or large Excel spreadsheets without any difficulty. I have been impressed by the battery life and the display graphics - both well above average. Lenovo makes a great product that can do it all with ease.

This is my 1st Lenovo and now, I don't think I'll ever purchase any other PC. I absolutely love my 2-in-1. It's compact and light, easy to tote around but still quick and has plenty of storage. I've not experienced any issues, at all, since purchasing this PC 4 months ago. The battery charge lasts. I bring it into the kitchen to look at recipes and browse the web while cooking, I've never had to bring my charger with me. I flip it around into a tablet, sit outside on the porch and play games. The self-adjusting screen light is awesome too!

I have owned this laptop for over a year and half. This is the 4th Lenovo laptop that I own/have owned. I love the build quality of Lenovo laptops especially the Yoga. It is a perfect blend of portability in size and weight. I love that it is a 2 in 1 and that you can use a pen/stylus with it to take notes, draw, and touch up photos. My only complaint is that I wish that it had one more USB 3 port. I have slowly been converting things I own over to USB 3.1 but still need to use USB 3.0 quite frequently. I purchased a USB 3.1 hub that gives me 3 additional USB 3.0 ports and this has helped tremendously. The quality and durability of this laptop is awesome. I love that the case is made of aluminum so it gives it the look and quality of a MacBook. I did have one problem with the wifi and sent it in to Lenovo after they could not help me fix the issue over the phone. They repaired it under warranty and said that the antenna connector had broken off of the wifi card. Since then everything has worked great and I will definitely be purchasing a Lenovo when I have to replace this one.

It was time to replace my 8yr old Asus and after much research I landed on the 720. In short, it's crazy light, quiet and fast. Has as much bells and whistles as you can imagine. Battery life is more than enough for a days work. I do have to ding it a star for only having 1 USB port, BestBuy advertised 3.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-13. We are pleased to hear that the features and performance of the Yoga 720-13 meets your computing needs so well. There are "technically" three USB ports on this model. There is one USB 3.0 port (standard USB), but there is also one USB-c Type-A port and one USB-c Type C port. So "technically" there are three USB ports on this device. Each has a distinct and separate function. lenovo

Perfect for portable use anywhere. Laptop is small, but the keyboard is not cramped and easily accommodates my husband's larger hands. The screen size is large enough for viewing streamed content and the resolution is gorgeous. Netflixs loads quickly and streaming is constant without buffering issues. Sound quality is not the best because the speaker openings are on the bottom of the unit. When used with headphones, the video viewing experience is excellent and I am able to run the full Microsoft Office programs without any issues. Hard drive space is less than desirable, but the constraint is less of a concern since there are a variety of inexpensive external hard drives and multiple cloud storage options readily available. Unit boots up quickly with fingerprint scan and quickly "wakes up" from power saving mode after being left idle. Battery life is a little less than desirable, but given the size and weight of the unit, the trade off is worth it. Still, I wouldn't leave home without a power cord or alternative battery source at the ready.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 720-13. With regard to the battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. lenovo

I went from a mac back to a PC and was worried if I wouldn't like it. I absolutely love it! There are some advantages of having a very light touch screen laptop over a MacBook. It's like an iPad on a computer! I haven't used the touchscreen too much but when I do it is handy. I use it mostly for school: writing papers, studying vocabulary, and doing research. I realize you can do this on any old laptop, but it is a good quality computer for the price I got it.
