Computer is awesome.. Very fast, good battery life, screen is excellent. Convertible format is easy to use. Only negative would be the screen casing is easy to damage, as it dented in slightly while in a backpack with books.

This is an excellent laptop! I wanted something for school that was fast, reasonably compact, with good battery life, and screen. I originally went into bestbuy with a 2000$ budget to buy a apple MBP, but walked out with the Lenovo. The quad core 7700HQ processor is extremely fast! (even compared to my desktop 6950x, it runs all my programs flawlessly) - the 16gbb DDR 4 - 2400MHZ is very good, and the 512gb nvme drive is excellent. On top of all this speed, you get the excellent build quality, and touch screen capability (extremely useful if you are in school, and use one note). I use this for Matlab, Visual Studio, Python, and RStudio - and this laptop never runs out of processing power It has Nvidia Gtx 1050 graphics card, but it is not build to play games, maybe some light gaming here, and there, but it is no GTX 1080 ti. Overall very happy with the purchase. Our Family ended up buying two laptops, one 720, and one 710. With the student discount I was ale to pick this up for 1300$. With the rest of the budget, I bought a Logitech MX Master 2 mouse (great for excel, photoshop work), Apple air pods, a carrying case, and still had some funds left over.

This laptop is as versatile as it is powerful. My last laptop (a Macbook Pro) was significantly underpowered for its price, but had a design and build quality that exceeded other laptops at the time. This laptop meets or exceeds the Apple standard by which other hardware is measured. The bright, beautiful 4k screen is incredible whether I am working on an application development project for work or watching Netflix. Startup is ultra quick thanks to the powerful processor and SSD drive. Windows 10 runs blazingly fast and can handle the multitude of applications I need to do my job. I think a laptop of this caliber should actually come with a version of Windows higher than the Home edition, so that is my only gripe so far.

For my needs as a masters student running heavy-duty statistical packages on massive data sets, this seemed like the best option (and a little more). I was looking for: +500 GB solid state drive +8 GB RAM I was comparing this laptop a cheaper, older Dell Inspiron, but the sales associate who helped me, Fabian, advised me, "David, that Dell is 8 GB dual core processor. This Lenovo is 16 GB quad core processor. It's like that Dell is a four cylinder, and this is a V-12. You're never gonna lack for power with this Lenovo." On top of that, I got a 4k screen, large display, and the Nvidia graphics card. While I'm not a big gamer, I still enjoy these laptop attributes everyday that I use it.

Lenovo was gift to grandson who after much research found this machine as ideal for his emphasis on engineering in college. What does it not have or not do? Nothing. I have similar less powerful Lenovo and know of its quality. No reservations in suggesting it for medium plus power users. Screen is marvelous

I've had this laptop for almost a week now and I've been really impressed with it. The screen resolution is amazing! The track pad has been pretty decent and the keyboard keys feel very crisp and easy to type on, except for the Backspace button it's not as crisp as the others but not that big of a deal. As for my daily development work on this machine it's been great. I have a local instance of SQL server running on it with multiple browsers, programs, etc. running all day and it doesn't seem to phase it. Also, I thought the fan would be louder than it is but it's been relatively quite. So far it's been a great replacement machine for my day to day dev machine.

Yes this laptop is expensive but it’s worth every cent. The display is really sharp, keyboard is nice to type on, only minor problem is the battery life. It’s not that great

My main draw to this PC was the CPU and GPU and it did not disappoint. Also i would not consider a new laptop under 512GB and this one also met that requirement. Im currently playing Gears of War 4 and Tekken 7 and they run just fine. You wont be running games in Ultra settings but i run them on high/medium and havent seen any issues with those 2 games and they look just like their Xbox 1 counterparts in my opinion. Cant recommend this laptop enough! My only wish is that it was a 14" screen model instead of 15.6" but i can live with that.

I'm a photographer and had been looking for a laptop with a good screen, and good processing power. I had planned on getting the Dell XPS 15, but at (literally) half the price, I decided to give this one a shot. All around, I'm pretty pleased with the laptop so far. At this price point, I'm pretty sure it's the best offering. So if this is where your budget is, then I'd say go for it.

After purchasing and then having to return a different brand computer from a manufacture's website, I decided to go to Best Buy. I've owned Lenovo in the past (T41 and T530) and have been happy with them, so I decided to purchase the Lenovo Yoga 720. What a smart move I made. This laptop is very fast and reliable. I've not had any issues with it. I like the back lit keyboard. The touch screen works great and the display is perfect. The battery life is excellent and it does not get hot on the lap. It does not have a CD drive, and I'm OK with that. All-in-all, I am a very happy customer.

I don't have a complaint about the laptop's performances, booting is so fast with the SSD HD, previous laptop was a Vaio 7 yrs old and I couldn't run some new applications or games. So far I haven't had any problems running latest programs andv some new games run very smooth. Only complaint would be lack of integrated HDMI output port and SD card reader, lacking optical drive is understandable.

Love the design. Becasue it too thin so there are no slot for upgrade DDR and 2.5" SSD/HDD. 4k screen is awesome and i like the finger print future. Keyboard is easy to use, my typing test went up ftom 45 to 52wpm. However, i gonna take a a time if you are a gamer who use A.S.D.F or Q.W.E.R because the space between each key cap is different from the regular keyboard (logitech G810)

This is a great little laptop for the price. I purchased this to replace a laptop that died. Thought it would be something to use until I found something bigger. Turns out this is awesome. I don't need anything more than this for what I use. I did have to buy a hub or docking station for extra usb and hdmi ports but that doesn't take away from this laptop at all.

I went in looking for a laptop that could do the basics I needed for work. But after seeing this on sale and checking out the specs, I couldn't resist. I've had it about a month and a half now and I love it. No complaints about anything at all.

Pros - Streamlined and sleek. Dedicated graphics card. Great battery life and fast recharging capabilities. Con - it's louder than I thought

Pretty good for a starter. Only time will tell how well it performs. We are looking forward to seeing how well it handles simulations.

I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this laptop. If you have the money and looking for a laptop to tackle a lot then you should spring for this. Do your research so you feel comfortable with your purchase though.

This laptop is light weight. You can use it either as a traditional laptop or flip the screen and turn it into a tablet setting. The touch-screen is very useful and the 4K display is amazing. I primarily use this laptop for Windows Mixed Reality and it is definitely powerful enough for all my games and apps. The battery life is a little less but that's because of the bright display settings will can be turned down when you're not playing games or watching a movie. All in all a great purchase!!

Super fast with the SSD. 16GB ram and I7 flies. With it being a 2 in 1 and 4K. It is a solid machine. Best Buy had a great price and i went ahead and purchased the extended warranty. Very happy with my purchase.
