I bought this laptop because I just started my Junior year of college, and it just so happens that I'm finally taking classes that are directly related to my major, graphic design. I work at the design studio at my school, so I was familiar with the kinds of programs I would need to be using like photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and so on. So, I got this laptop with that in mind and i have do say it's doing more than just a good job. I like that the interface customizes to how you need to use it, by switching between desktop, and tablet mode. Not to mention the touch screen is helpful with saving time. The ability to draw right on screen is great for all my projects, and note taking. The back lit keyboard is great for darker class rooms and best of all the 2 in 1 capability is unbeatable. I'm also into gaming, more so Xbox, but just started PC and the display is absolutely beautiful. All around this laptop is the best for pretty much every aspect of my life, whether it be student, artist, or gamer. It was definitely the BEST BUY I could have made. Gaming, school, and art probably doesn't even touch on how useful it could be considering so many other fields so if you're looking for a good laptop that can do pretty much whatever you need it to. This would be the one.

This laptop has been amazing so far. The fact that I can game and fold this into a tablet means that is the perfect machine. Pros 1. It's fast. I can run most games at 1080p medium to max 2. It's got RAM to spare with 16GB 3. It has ample storage for this kind of laptop (512GB) 4. The keyboard is tactile and definitely isn't mushy. 5. It's light enough to be portable 6. Fingerprint scanner and Wacom Pen support is awesome. Cons. 1. It's really expensive. 2. I have been facing a small problem with the hinge alignment. 3. Although it has a 4K display, the GTX 1050 isn't able to push any games to 60fps at 4K. 4. It doesn't have a single display out port which makes it very difficult for presentations. Overall, it's been a great experience so far and hopefully, it will last a long time

Purchased this to replace my 7 year old Asus laptop. Was sceptical about the touch screen and battery life but I’ve had Absolutely no problems with this laptop. Really like how fast it boots up. Beautiful screen clarity too. I do wish it had more USB ports. Added an external dvd/cd writer and now I’m even more pleased. Would buy again.

I love it so far I only wish that the battery lasted longer and for the price it should have came with a stylus. Also the screen brightness could go higher but all in all its a decent laptop. I also wish that it came with more free manufactured apps such as video editing and that when editing the digital ink wouldn't take so long to dry.

So far the computer seems to be good, It has good graphics, awesome vivid picture. It responds fast when you wake it up from hibernation process. The finger print password is another perk of this computer, makes it really fast and secure. I had to purchase a blue tooth keyboard because it was very easy to make mistakes with the laptop's keyboard, specially if you are trying to improve your typing speed. I haven't load all the software to be able to judge if this computer is fast or not. Like every other computer, they are fast at the beginning until your start loading it up with all kinds of different software.

Great specs. This thing can really do a lot. I am an engineering student who previously used macs but had to switch due to software incompatibilities. This computer has incredible graphics and is very fast running heavy modeling software like catia. I will be running matlab on it very soon and hope it can do that as well.

I was torn between this Lenovo Yoga vs. the comparable XPS but in the end I went with the Yoga because of price to performance. I especially wanted the Nvidia graphics, I7, and fastest RAM out there. In the end I was able to get all that at a steal of a price as an open box. Only complaint was that there were two other open box that had the same error as many others have listed here in that there was a black line on the top of the screen. So I had to return the first open box to get another one.

This Lenovo - Yoga 720 2-in-1 15.6" 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Quad Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Platinum Silver model was one on display at Best Buy and had a malfunction with a screen twitch. Instead we bought a brand new one. Everything was great for a few weeks up until last night. I'm using my computer WITH the power cord plugged in and my screen began shaking just like the floor model. This morning it did not do that same issue, however about an hour into studying the screen "flipped/twitched" again this time it wouldn't let me save my work and I LOST everything I was just working on. SOOOOO frustrated right now. I WOULD not recommend this YOGA due to that. Everything else works great though in case you care. Tablet mode is awesome, easy to use. No I didn't drop my brand new computer if you think maybe that's why the screen is acting up. It was fine the night before and now idk what....ugh

This laptop is amazing. It is not only good to the eye, but it is very fast and powerful. Battery life is amazing. Love the laptop/tablet capability. I use it for engineering softwares like ImageJ and Solidworks and it worked perfectly. I also use adobe on it, Illustrator and Lightroom and they both work awesomely.

So far so good. First experience with a touch screen.

This computer is well worth the price. It has amazing versatility and great speed with its operating system.

I don't usually write reviews for things I buy but this machine really warents a strong recommendation. First off I am very pleased with the price. For an i7 (7700HQ) Processor, 16GB Ram, Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB graphics card, 4k display, and 512GB SSD, It's a really great deal. The battery is about as solid as a laptop battery can be. I generally get about 6 hours with the brightness down and while using the integrated graphics. While gaming I only get about two and a half hours but not bad considering how intensive gaming can be on a laptop. The sound is pretty crisp and isn't as tinny as most other brands are. Tablet mode is a little bit awkward just because of its size and how bulky it can be. I didn't find that to be an issue as I didn't buy this for the tablet feature. Others may or may not enjoy it. Overall I've found this to be an incredible machine. At 1300 dollars, it's pricy and there are prettier laptops out there however, you won't find them with these kind of specs for this price range! It's a great entry level gaming device with plenty of potential. Games play butter smooth in 1080 and I've gotten a few games to run in native 4k. Heat can be an issue while gaming so keep that in mind. I've never had it restart on me but it gets into the upper 80s on both the cpu and the gpu. Weirdly enough, it runs drastically less hot while playing games on battery. Something about plugging it in and playing games makes it heat up pretty badly. I haven't repasted anything yet but I've heard that helps quite a bit. I use a laptop cooler and I've gotten the Temps down by almost 10 degrees in some cases. Get a good one if you're planning on playing AAA games. If you're thinking about buying this, DO IT! It's definitely a powerful machine and I'm so in love with mine! It's a compact little powerhouse! Leaving four stars just because they could have added more ports, as well as the heating problem while gaming.

They did again and again with this fantastic laptop and the slim design. Very flex unit and easy to set-up. The installed security and M10 makes me safe and upgrading is not a problem. The lightweight design make it very easy to move around in the office or classroom.. Thanks

We got a list of specs need for college computer. Brought it to Best Buy and the staff was so helpful in recommending different options. Graphics are awesome, going from an I3 to an I7 the speed is amazing. Love being able to fold up like a tablet. Lihtvup keys an added bonus.

This is by far the fastest computer I've ever owned. The graphics are great, the frame is light and compact for a full sized laptop. Locks on to all wi-fi signals quickly and easily. This is the second Lenovo laptop in my family and both have been outstanding.

Awesome power at great price. One of the few 4k touch screens available out there. Great for drawing and painting. Highly recommend it. Has the same processor as the most powerful laptop gaming pcs out there.

I've been searching for a new laptop for months and am so happy I found this one! I needed something fast because I do a lot of multitasking and photo editing and this laptop was perfect for it. The 2-in-1 feature I did not expect to use as much as I have but the tablet mode is great. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and some people complained of overheating and the laptop getting loud. I've only experienced the bottom of the laptop getting really hot when I had it resting on a thick, furry blanket. It blocked the opening so of court it would get hot but once I moved it, the laptop cooled off. I don't think it's too loud though. I haven't tested the battery life out too much but when I'm doing a lot of multitasking, I get around 4.5 hours. When I'm just searching the web, it lasts longer. This wasn't really a deal breaker for me especially because it charges quickly.

This is so fast and everything about it great! I realize that some programs are not designed for a 4K Display and will show real tiny because of it, but I can deal with that. I do not see that as a negative as it performs above and beyond what i expected.
