I'm a intern photographer so I needed a fast computer for photoshop. I really wasn't sure what to pick or really what specs I needed. So an employee helped tremendously with explaining everything! I'd highly recommend this amazing laptop!

Excellent Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't expecting much as this was within my price range for an Ulta High Definition 4k laptop with the right amount of storage. I've had it for a week now and I'm very glad I purchased it. The screen and touch pad are excellent. Very precise. It has worked flawlessly so far. The keyboard is not the best but I took it with me to a seminar and once I got used to it, I realized I was typing faster than usual. Just have to get used to it. I'm sure once it breaks in, the typing experience will be even faster. Nice quiet keys so as not to disturb anyone. The speed and boot up time is blazing fast. No loud fans either. I can barely hear the fans. I can't say anything for reliability because I've only had it for about a week, but everything else has worked great for me. I love this laptop and I'm coming from Macbooks. I've also had several Windows laptops in the past as well and the only other alternative for me would be a Thinkpad but I hate the nipple in the middle of the keyboard on those... so for me, I think this is probably the best laptop for value. A 4K screen for this price and specs, unbeatable value.

Unreliable WiFi Known Issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You roll the dice with this laptop because some of them have RealTek WiFi adapters, and some have Intel WiFi adapters. The laptops with the Intel adapter work great, while the Realtek adapter has serious issues resulting in frequent disconnections from the WiFi network. Lenovo tries to blame it on other issues on their forums, but it is clear that the Realtek chip is to blame. Other details about this laptop: -The screen is extremely vibrant -The keyboard and trackpad seem to work very well. -Battery life is closer to 4 hours with the brightness turned up and browsing the web or watching videos. -The charger is ENORMOUS - so you may want to look for a smaller Lenovo charger to take on the road. We are replacing the WiFi card ourselves because the rest of the laptop meets my wife's needs. However, it is inexcusable that Lenovo released a product with malfunctioning WiFi. Apparently, the WiFi driver that is on Lenovo's site does not work.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with WiFi connectivity on your Lenovo Yoga 730-15. This issue is easily fixed by updating the computer to the latest version of Windows 10 Operating System, then updating all the BIOS files and Drivers. This is easily accomplished by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility Software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
