    Worst customer service EVER

To preface, this review has nothing to do with the laptop and everything to do with customer service. I strongly recommend NOT purchasing anything from Lenovo until they fix their in-house problems. My story begins back in October, a naive college student with a broken laptop. At this point in my life, I was very fond of Lenovo; they had provided me with an excellent laptop from which I had little to no complaints. Unfortunately, my keyboard began to have problems. But was I worried? No! I had purchased an additional on-site warranty when I first bought the laptop 2 summers ago. I called the Lenovo support team and began to explain my situation. Not only was my keyboard malfunctioning, but I had also cracked my screen earlier that year. I thought I might as well get that repaired at the same time as the keyboard. However, to my dismay, the support agent told me that I would have to send my laptop in for repair even though I shelled out the extra cash for on-site repair service. "Oh well", I thought. They quoted me a 9-day turnaround, so I wasn't too disappointed. I'd have my computer back in no time, right? Nope. After an initial misunderstanding of what needed to be repaired, I received an invoice charging me for the incorrect part. I then embarked on an email chain of idiocy trying to explain to the repair agent what needed to be fixed on my laptop and what I should be charged for. The individual was convinced that my screen was, in fact, not cracked. Well, it certainly was, quite blatantly in fact. After a couple weeks, I finally got the confusion sorted out and was correctly charged for a new screen and Lenovo was going to cover the defective keyboard replacement. Finally! I was in the clear....so I thought. Another couple weeks passed with no news from Lenovo, so I called in again. Supposedly, they were waiting on parts. Come mid-December, my laptop was still not being fixed so I began calling in with increased frequency. "We're still waiting on a part" they would say. I have a hard time believing they can't get a part in 2 months. If I knew it would take this long, I would have ordered the parts from eBay, received them in 2 days, and taken them to a local repair shop. If I had done that, I am positive I could have my laptop repaired inside 2 weeks. Anyway, we get to the end of December and I convince an agent to escalate my case. "Finally," I thought. "I'm in the clear now." I received a call from a manager shortly after and he assured me he was on my side and would give me a call the next day after checking on the part's status. Damone Edmonson is his name if anyone reading this can help me out. However, the next day came and passed, and so did the week with no returned call. I have called and called with no response. I have sent emails with no response. I call the support line frequently. They consistently tell me that my case has been escalated, they will send a follow-up request, and I should receive a call within 24 hours. I've been told that probably 10 times. Not once have a received a callback from a manager. I am appalled by how horrible the customer service is at such a notable company. Until my problems are solved, I continue to tell people about my horrendous experience and strongly recommend that they NEVER purchase a Lenovo product. It's quite rare that I would care so much about customer service to adamantly dissuade people from purchasing a company's products even when their products are quite good. However, this has truly been the worst experience I have ever had by many multiples. Nearly 3 months later with countless hours wasted, I now find myself in a situation where I will likely be purchasing a new laptop. At this moment, I am a potential life long customer LOST.

Stay Away From Lenovo Yoga laptops

TLDR: Trackpad and WiFi have stopped functioning properly within 5 months of use. This is after replacing one laptop after flickering screen. Minor keypad issue happened as well which was sorted. Before I get started, I should clarify that I was a big fan of Lenovo before buying this laptop. I used to own a Thinkpad from work, and it was a beast. Even though I had seen many friends with Lenovo laptops struggle with myriad problems, I assumed there must be something different with the premium line of laptops like the Yoga series. Boy, was I wrong. Before buying this laptop, I saw a lot of negative comments on BestBuy and thought it is probably a tiny fraction of people suffering from such issues, and being tech-savvy myself, I can probably sort most of the things out. But it seems Lenovo proved me wrong, in the course of 5 months. I bought my first laptop in August, which seemed perfect at first but the screen started to flicker within a few days. Thankfully, I got it replaced at Best Buy. Then after getting the replacement, everything went well until a month, and suddenly a key wasn't tactile enough. While pressing 4-5 times continuously to try getting it back to normal, the key broke off. Now, I called Lenovo and somehow they arranged an on-site technician to visit, which they later went back and forth on for a min of 4 times, but finally budged, as they had mistakenly promised me the first time. It was pretty stable for the next 3 months, until December when I started encountering my first major issue with the trackpad. My trackpad stops working randomly. Thankfully the touchscreen works and gets the work done most of the times. You can connect an external mouse and the cursor would start moving again. Earlier, I could get it back to work by restarting the system everytime the trackpad stopped working, but now even this doesn't work. No amount of updating of drivers actually works. I have tried updating the Bios, updating the drivers, but it doesn't help. I have installed all possible updates on Lenovo Vantage as well as ran hardware scans, but it simply doesn't work. As if this problem wasn't enough, now my WiFi started acting funny, disconnecting every 5-10 minutes. I thought this was a router specific problem, but my friend's MacBook was working fine while I was getting disconnected. The same problem persisted with my University internet as well. Again I tried updating drivers, but without any help. I finally thought of restoring the laptop to factory settings, keeping all my files. Even that didn't work. The bad part is these events are extremely common with Lenovo Yoga models and such issues are across all online Lenovo forums(without any concrete solution to these problems). Even worse, Lenovo doesn't even have experts answering them. Why spend money when other people will do the work for free. While I understand it's difficult for Lenovo to achieve Apple's standards of hardware, but producing a basic functional laptop with bug-free drivers shouldn't be that difficult. And considering the sheer volume of complaints on the internet, I seriously doubt their quality control process. I have given 1 star because of the nice design, beautiful screen, fast boot, and good battery life. However, these are not good enough to keep me hooked up with this brand. I will strongly recommend staying away from this brand while buying laptops.

I originally bought a Microsoft Surface Laptop 2, but it ended up messing up within the first day I used it, only a few hours after I bought it. So I took it back, exchanged it for another, and that one worked for about a day. Then I started having problems the next day, similar to the problems I had with the first one. Took it back and decided to switch brands. I had help from a store employee and that’s how I came to own this piece of treasure. It is the best laptop I've used in in years. It has a super fast start up and shut down thanks to Windows 10 OS. The processer makes the computer pretty fast overall while running multiple programs. I use it for school work mostly, but I’ll occasionally play games and watch movies/tv shows on it, too (sometimes while I am using it for homework). The battery life lasts pretty long, gets used up faster while playing games but it lasts for hours while I’m doing homework. Its tablet mode is pretty cool, though I haven’t played with that feature much yet. This laptop still has a lot for me to discover on it, but all in all, it is THE BEST laptop I have purchased in 5 years. If I had to change anything on it, it would just be the sound. I'd like for the volume to reach louder levels, but its good loud enough to hear in general. I would definitely recommend this laptop for multitasking, school use, movie/tv/music streaming, and light gaming (since I haven’t done any hardcore gaming on it…yet).

The Lenovo yoga 730 15inch model a good computer for college students like myself, but I believe there are better options. I use this computer nearly every day and the startup times are like nothing I've ever seen. I have only had cheaper priced computers with Intel Celeron and i3 processors with mechanical hard drives so this is a vast upgrade...but so is the price. for the price, one could find other options that work better for the money. My main grievances are as follows: The fingerprint reader works about 40% of the time. The screen doesn't stay locked in position so while using it, it will slope back until its 180 degrees flat while you're trying to use it as a laptop. The active pen support is terrible, it works smooth just writing notes and other things but little things like a way to determine the battery of your pen are extremely difficult to figure out and overall the pen is good for drawing or taking notes. The downside is that research proves that we remember things better by physically writing with pen and paper so virtually the pen is only good for drawing. The battery life is TERRIBLE. figuring this is an ultrabook to some degree I thought it would last me the duration of the day. Overall, they have it set where you can reduce the performance of the laptop to opt for better battery life. forget running the computer on high performance unless you only want the battery for 2-4 hours. Most of the time it lasts me through classes but normally by mid-evening I have to charge up to do homework, and it just annoying because of how misleading the product is. Lastly, there is no SD card slot so I have to purchase a dongle for this laptop in order to get any picture or videos I take. Overall, avoid this product because there are better options that don't have these annoying issues.

I purchased this laptop based on a good experience with a Yoga 710. What I was looking for in this laptop was a thin form factor, touch, and battery life. It has some plusses. The performance is great. The i5 really keeps this machine going and the 8gb of RAM is more than enough. The touch is responsive and 256 GB of storage is plenty for most people. Wifi performance is also decent. Backlight has a dim and bright setting that I cant really tell the difference, but regardless it looks nice when it's on. Form factor of the machine is alright and the weight is good too, no problem using it for a while. Thats about where the positives end. The battery claims to provide 11.5 hours of use. I could not get anywhere close to that. Even on a very conservative power plan with all the sliders turned from performance to longevity, all I could muster was slightly less than 6 hours. To even get close to 6 hours I had to keep the brightness fairly low. 50% brightness is this machine is very dim and the screen feels colorless. Cant really enjoy it below 70% brightness and frankly 80 or 90% percent would be better but that is going to further kill your batter life. The finger print reader is also spotty. Half the time it wouldnt recognize and unlock. If it fails to scan three times you are back to having to input your password. Would not recommend buying unless you are willing to swallow some flaws on what should have been a great laptop

I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 720 with Windows 10 and an i5 processor in Dec 2018 from Best Buy. It will be my last Lenovo purchase. The model I purchased is quite similar to the Lenovo 730 here, the difference being mainly a 12.5 inch screen. I LOVE the form factor and material build quality of the Yoga machines. It is loud however. But what really irks me, to the point where I'm writing a review of the product (for other potential buyers) is that within three months of purchase the touch screen stopped working. It started working again after about a month of non-functionality, and now again, the touch screen is completely non responsive. Whether this is some glitch with Windows 10 and/or how Lenovo's system integrates with Windows I don't know, but it's unacceptable. Now that I've had the issue, I've had to google "Lenovo Yoga and touchscreen problems" and what do you know...seeems there's a bunch of them and apparantly Lenovo has done nothing about it. I tried all sorts of fixes, drivers, Windows updates, reboots etc...nothing has resolved the issue. I'd say if you want a nice computer with a good build and a good screen but don't mind reinstalling Windows every 3 months or don't mind using your 2-in-1 tablet computer without a functional touchscreen...go for it. If you don't like having to reinstalling Windows (or waiting on the phone for hours with customer service, or shipping your computer back to Lenovo) every three months...it might not be your best bet. Pros: Good screen, keyboard, form factor, material build, portability, fast for most everyday uses - office suite, viewing photos, web surfing etc Cons: Frequent LOUD fan noise, faulty NON-RESPONSIVE touch screen issues within 3 mos of purchase, battery life is so so

I've had this laptop for about 7 months now, and it's performed consistently and well thus far. Nearly all aspects are in working order; I've never had problems with it freezing up or being slow (it's very fast!); the display looks great, and the audio sounds alright. I don't use the touch screen much but have no problems with it when I do. I use it for school work (Comp Sci) and to draw (Paint Tool SAI) and performance is great. I play video games somewhat, but nothing rigorous and it does just fine. I had gotten this product with a student discount and I really believe I got my money's worth. Some concerns are that the power button does not press as easily as when I first got it; I honestly have to press pretty hard, and it makes me nervous that it may actually break or stop working in the near future. The laptop's surface also got scuffed up pretty easily, especially on the bottom. The fingerprint reader unfortunately does not work reliably and I've long since given up on trying to utilize it. Battery life does seem short; I'm almost always within the vicinity of an outlet. It seems I can't get more than about five hours of constant schoolwork before it gets low. Sadly I am passing off the product to a family member, as it's more cumbersome than I'd like (though it is my fault for choosing this size and not the smaller model). If that's not a concern I genuinely recommend this product.

Regarding the power button on your Lenovo Yoga 730-15, the function of the power button, turning the device on/off is software controlled. Be sure you have the BIOS files and drivers on the computer up to date. You can do this easily by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software on the computer. Updating the BIOS file and drivers may also help the performance of the fingerprint reader on the device. The Yoga 730-15 ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. Here is a link to instruction for doing this in Windows 10:  https://www.digitalcitizen.life/how-use-configure-battery-saver-windows-10. I purchased this when it was on sale for the Back to School event. The SSD makes a ton of difference, as you would expect. I can turn the unit on from being totally shut down, and be totally up and running within 10-15 seconds, especially when I use the fingerprint reader. The laptop is very good looking. I usually prefer the simple, clean lines, metal body, which this executes very well. The background lighting on the keys is adjustable and more than bright enough. It also doesn't spill out from under the keys, like some cheaper computers. The flip capability is very nice, and using it in tent mode is great for watching movies in bed. Using it as a tablet is sometimes a bit cumbersome, but I did buy the larger screen knowing this would probably be the case, so I can't knock points there. If you did frequently want to use this as a tablet, you may want to look at the lighter, smaller version. The only trait that isn't excellent on this unit are the speakers. This isn't to say that they aren't loud enough, or that they are bad quality, just that the location is suboptimal. They're located under the main body of the computer, and face down into your lap if you're in laptop mode. This sort of comes with the territory with the 2 in 1's though, so it's another thing that I can't really complain about. Overall, great computer, would recommend!

My new Lenovo Yoga is extremely fast on start up and processing any tasks I have thrown at it so far. It has the ability to be used as a tablet, although I have not used it as such yet. Not sure that is something I will do, but the option to do so is nice. It is very thin and lite compared to my previous laptop. It also didn't come with the bloatware that the other one had included. The SSD drive makes almost every task very fast, but the trade off is that I have to get used to the smaller storage space. But with external hard drives being very reasonable, this is not too big of a deal. About the only negative I can think of is that I wish it had more than 2 USB outlets. By using a wireless mouse, it takes up one port, leaving only one other USB. That can be remedied with a USB hub, but it is a slight inconvenience. It does have a HDMI and a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, but as of now, I do not have anything that runs through USB-C. I also, kind of miss the CD/DVD optical drive option, but, that seems to be the way the industry is heading. As for battery life, I usually use it plugged in and haven't tried it very long on just battery. I have used it for a couple of hours and it performed well surfing the internet and watching videos, and still showed about 65% remaining battery life. But, I'm not sure how that equates with what most users may need when away from AC power. Overall, I love this unit, and would recommend it highly.

Not as awesome as expected or as other reviews

I purchased it through a friend in US. Hence, it can't be a verified purchase. I wrote this review to counter the awesome reviews that were posted. I bought it just a fortnight ago for 879$, thinking it was a good deal with the sale. After using it, I feel it was not worth it.(I'm comparing it to a 4 year old acer nitro bought at 800$) 1) Fingerprint unlock doesn't work most of the time, though I've set up the finger print several times. Very very annoying 2) Camera takes a dull video, while a 4 year old acer laptop produces a brighter image during video chat. 3)The 15" could have hosted a full keyboard unlike the 13" model 4)Online reviews of Yoga 730 on youtube showed Alexa included but couldn't find it in my model 5)A dedicated graphic card should have been included at this cost. Integrated intel graphic card is a let down. 6)As heavy as my old acer which is not using SSD and has a DVD drive and a 4 cell battery. Why the weight ??? 7) Edges are sharp, not very comfortable holding it. Should have been rounded edges 8)A 3 cell battery at this weight. Not enough. 9) The keyboard doesn't have a backlight. Could have really helped. The pros 1) Doesn't heat much 2) Less noise 3) Screen is bright and touch screen is fine 4) Touch is responsive. I hope Microsoft learns better OS optimization for touch. Would be great if Lenovo tells me why the fingerprint scanner doesn't unlock. It always says my finger print is not authenticated. A 100$ phone does a better job.

I'm not a gamer and don't do a lot of photo or video editing. So the Core i5 is plenty of horsepower for me. I love the solid state drive vs. traditional hard drive in terms of fast boot up and quiet use. The 8 GB of RAM are more than sufficient for my use and 256GB of storage is plenty since my documents photos and videos are stored in the cloud anyway. I like the flexibility of Windows 10 and the full HD display is nice. It has virtually every kind of port I would use, including HDMI and USB-C and it has excellent battery life. The fingerprint reader is convenient for quick log ins and the backlit keyboard is nice if working in a darker room. MS Office apps start up quickly and the 2-1 design is nice if I want to go to tablet mode. Also, it's compatible with Windows Ink workspace so you can use a Bamboo stylus if desired. Wi-Fi connectivity is solid as is bluetooth for peripherals like my mouse and keyboard I'm using to type this review. All around an excellent well built piece of hardware that I would recommend and buy again and again, for anyone looking for a great desktop like experience with the flexibility of portability and the tablet form factor and stylus if needed. Big thumbs up from me to Lenovo for this product.

    Good...except for flickering

I purchased this laptop back in June as it was going to be perfect to use during grad school and beyond. However, a few months into use, the screen began flickering when I used it. At first it was just while I sat on my couch at certain angles; I took it to Best Buy and had Geek Squad take a look at it. They shipped it out and when I got it back they said it was fixed. Well not even a month later it began flickering again -- and worse than before. Sometimes the screen would go entirely black, sometimes it would flicker for a minute straight, and sometimes it would flicker while it was just sitting on the table with no pressure on the device. I haven't been able to take it back because I'm finishing up the semester and need my laptop (it's super powerful and runs wonderfully otherwise, for papers, internet browsing/video watching, and video gaming) but the flickering gets so frustrating I almost just want to return the laptop and get a new one. Just sucks because it was so expensive and I was told it would work for years, and I've already had issues twice in 6 months...

I bought this laptop in September knowing I would be moving overseas to Europe and needed a new computer. Got it for a great price and does what I needed it to do in the States. With the exception of some really annoying backlight bleed along the bottom of the display when powering up on a black screen. I chalk that up to poor quality control. Upon arriving in Europe, my laptop constantly disconnects from WiFi and has constant issues with DNS. In addition to troubleshooting every article I could find on Lenovo and Microsoft’s website and other sites regarding this issue, I called Lenovo support and they were essentially useless and could only tell me to ship it back to the states which, A.) I have to foot the bill. B.) Costs too much and C.) I no longer live in the States or have anyone with a US address to send it in for me and I also need this to complete my online courses. If you’re in the market and you’re traveling, spend the extra money and get a Surface Laptop 2 (better quality) or get a MacBook. At least Apple will service their computers across the world no matter where you purchased it. So long as there’s a legit Apple store in your location.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Yoga 730-15 connecting to International WiFi signals. First, since this is a North American model, it may be missing the specific drivers your International WiFi frequency needs. We recommend you check with your local WiFi provider for drivers that are necessary to connect to their service. Second, you can scan the device while connected to your local WiFi, with Lenovo Utility software which is installed on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. Lenovo

I bought this laptop to use for my driver for work. I read so many negatives about it and cant imagine why people think that at this price point your getting a porche when your actually getting a work horse F150. Look it has great start times it had great features for its pricepoint and it has ports that are relevant to todays dongles ect. I have owned several laotops and this unit does what it claims to do. Great for collage great for work and great for viewing web content. IF your looking for something more spend more you will get more thats plain and simple. The Yoga 730 does what it says it does. HP have several options too but HP screens cant compare their panels are not as clear and clean as the Lenovo. IF you think 256 SSD isnt enough either spend more for storage or buy an external. This laptop does exactly what it claims to do. Dont expect mid range to be a $3000 laptop experience. For the money you get a good all around laptop with good screen size and touch screen. Lenovo are better laptops then most out there. I would def buy Lenovo again

I love my new laptop. At its price point its excellent. I did all the updates first thing after firing it up and have had no problems with screen flicker reported by some. The SSD is the only way to go as far as boot speed is concerned. I like the screen more then the competition at its price level. It is a bit glossy but I installed a screen protective cover as I got a Lenovo pen as well. This matte finish eliminated the reflection. Laptop selection all comes down to what you are really going to use it for. Web browsing and office software- this is more than adequate. I got the 8th generation I5 chip as most say the I7 is a little overkill for normal use but it never hurts to go up if your budget won't be hurt. If you need more storage go for more than the 256 SSD but it costs more. Personally I won't go back to standard HDD because the are so slow. An external HD isn't very expensive and an optional way to go to expand your storage space.

Six months in and I'd say my experience with this computer has been pretty good! Good size and specs for students that should handle everything you throw at it. Enough memory for all my schoolwork, pictures, movies, games, and more! Loved the touch screen and 2 in 1 capability good for taking electronic notes or just for fun! Had enough ports for me although sometimes I wish I just had one more USB but ohh well! Durable metal construction and solid battery life for on the go use. Only issue I had so far was a charging issue but one call to Lenovo support and I was all fixed without spending extra or sending my computer away for repairs. Just something funky with a recent update I had. Overall great computer for the price I got it at on sale however if you're looking for a gaming set keep looking though because while this will handle most simple games it doesn't have a good graphics card for most new games.

I bought this laptop few days ago and I was impressed by its design and display. It is super fast and looks slick and feels sturdy. The price was outstanding since I was able to get a bestbuy discount which I appreciate and a student deal coupon applied. I think it is worth every dime. I may have to say that the battery life could be better but with the battery saver, it lasts for up to 8 hrs which is all I need particularly that it can recharge fast 15min = 2 hrs of charge. Not bad!!! As for the keyboard, I was not initially a big fan of it as I like to type fast and I find it to be less sensitive, but my wife liked it a lot... I adjusted the sensitivity settings on the keyboard and it feels better now. All in all, I found many of the reviews helpful prior to purchasing the laptop and most cons are minor and easy to fix honestly. Glad I bought this laptop!

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. This system has a battery life of up to 9 hours depending on the work that the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:
https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/battery-saver-windows-10. Additionally, to maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. lenovo

Very Good Large Laptop converts to tablet

This is well-built and runs beautifully. I love the large screen and full keyboard but it does make it heavy and bulky for travel. I find it hard to balance it on my lap when sitting without a desk or table, but I don't need to do that much. I love the 2-in-1 feature but it does take a minute to switch to tablet mode when you fold it all the way over. My main complaint is that the fingerprint recognition is weak. It keeps forgetting my fingerprint, so I have to have several fingers ready to be recognized. Even then, I now have to just use my password instead of fingerprint about half the time. The keyboard is pretty easy to use but I do make some typos because of the spacing it has that is slightly different from a desktop computer with a separate keyboard. Overall, I am very satisfied.

The Lenovo Yoga 730-15 is an ultra portable, 2 in 1 computer that has a full size 15.6" (screen size measured diagonally) screen. The Yoga 730-15 measures just 14.17 x 9.80 x 0.68 inches and weigh just 4.17 lbs. This 2 in 1 device switches instantly to tablet mode when the screen is rotated back to tablet mode. If you are experiencing a delay in the screen conversion to tablet mode, be sure you have selected the automatic switching mode on your Windows 10 screen when you rotate the screen. here is a link to more information about tablet mode within Windows 10:  https://blog.nhlearningsolutions.com/blog/tabid/145/artmid/16483/articleid/2060/how-to-enable-or-disable-tablet-mode-in-windows-10. Concerning the issues you are experiencing with your fingerprint reader, here is a link to fixes for Windows 10 fingerprint readers:  https://windowsreport.com/fingerprint-doesnt-work-windows-10/. The Yoga 730-15 ships with a standard QWERTY keyboard, without a 10-key numeric pad. For 2018, Lenovo retained its place for a second year as the best laptop vendor:

I knew I wanted a touch screen so that I can edit photos onscreen with a stylus pen. Lenovo is a strong name. I used to be in IT support another lifetime ago and the Thinkpads we supported were work horses. When I saw the sale on the Yoga 730 15.6, I jumped on it. But not after some serious research. You see, I come from old-school, and I was struggling with the technology change between a hdd and a ssd. After learning the mindset that ya just don't keep everything on the main drive anymore, it clicked! I like the build of this laptop - an aluminum case! That's impressive. It boots up FAST! Faster than my desktop running on the older style ssd. These m.2's are something else. Upgrading the memory is easy, as is the ssd should you choose to do so. I doubt I will ever use the tablet mode, but who knows.
