This Lenovo is light weight, has a really clean screen, and is an amazing improvement in speed. I use it for a marine navigation program, e-mails, web access, and occasional business travel and it's a great improvement over the old one. It will also run my business accounts when I need to, including a clone of my Point of Sale system and inventory. Very pleased.

When I got this one home I was very pleased on the build quality. It is a solid build. The keyboard has a nice feel. It is very quick, boot and ready in about 10 seconds. I can say I really don't have a complaint about this machine. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great laptop.

We worked with a bestbuy employee on both of our laptop purchases. He stressed how this computer was great for storage, speed and for anything i wanted to do. I needed it for basic things like shopping- writing for my blog and online columns. I alSo store a lot of photos and videos. It’s a beautiful laptop and i would recommend it!!!

It is a great laptop for a student. There is one issue that the hinges that fold the laptop feel slightly cheap. The plastic covering cracked on the left hinge of mine. It is upsetting because I treat my electronics with care. Overall, this is a solid laptop .

Performance was great from the begging, except the WiFi card (a realtek 8822 particularly mediocre). A couple of updates later (less than $70) bumped the performance to the sky. A new Intel Wifi card + 8GB of ram more, makes this laptop an excellent laptop, with a great value. So far really happy with this purchase.

good size & portability

Helped a little, After a few days the fingerprint reader shut me out. It took me an hour to get back on. Am not going to use it. The Google Chrome icon disappeared. I'm comparing this to my 6 yr old Toshiba laptop that still works great with none of those problems. I haven't tried tablet mode. I like the portability.

Posted .With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. Regarding the set up of your fingerprint reader, here is a link to instructions for setting up a fingerprint reader within Windows 10: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/set-windows-hello-fingerprint-login. Occasionally Windows 10 has issues with the Chrome Browser. Great machine until screen problems started

After 11 months, it had screen issues. It was returned for repair, but they were not guaranteeing that it would be covered under warranty. They ended up covering it. Service was fantastic. But, I question why screen cables would go bad after less than a year.

I am extremely impressed with the products looks, functions, speed. Startup and shutdown is very fast. The graphics are gorgeous. It handles all of my needs which aren't more than creating and using Microsoft programs and internet. It's a battle between me and my wife, since she wants to use it over her laptop.

Went from MacBook to this computer because Someone I know had the same laptop and I just loved how it felt. One problem was the battery starts to die quickly... and ended up giving it to my parents to use and connect it to their television.

The only issue I have with Lenovo laptops is depending on which one you buy the keyboard layout has arrow keys right where the right shift key should be and it makes it a little complicated trying to type capitals from the right.
