I love that it can work as a tablet and the keyboard is inactivated so you don’t accidentally hit any buttons. My only complaint is the mouse pad sometimes is overly sensitive and it’ll cause the cursor to jump around the screen. Getting a wireless mouse would help this though!

With regard to the touchpad, you can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Performance is amazing - immediate startup and shutdown, and apps are responsive. Also it feels great - very sleek - and the monitor is breathtakingly beautiful. 10 out of 10!

So the Core i5 is plenty of horsepower for me. I love the solid state drive vs. traditional hard drive in terms of fast boot up and quiet use. The 8 GB of RAM are more than sufficient for my use and 256GB of storage is plenty since my documents photos and videos are stored in the cloud anyway. I like the flexibility of Windows 10 and the full HD display is nice. It has virtually every kind of port I would use, including HDMI and USB-C and it has excellent battery life. The fingerprint reader is convenient for quick log ins and the backlit keyboard is nice if working in a darker room. MS Office apps start up quickly and the 2-1 design is nice if I want to go to tablet mode. Also, it's compatible with Windows Ink workspace so you can use a Bamboo stylus if desired. Wi-Fi connectivity is solid as is bluetooth for peripherals like my mouse and keyboard I'm using to type this review. All around an excellent well built piece of hardware that I would recommend and buy again and again, for anyone looking for a great desktop like experience with the flexibility of portability and the tablet form factor and stylus if needed. Big thumbs up from me to Lenovo for this product.

It is light weight and slick. My only minor complaint is how sensitive the touch pad is and the outside is a finger print magnet. Both minor complaints and shouldn't stop anyone from choosing this excellent product!

I was considering a Mac but opted for the Lenovo as the specs are actually significantly better at a better price. I like the 15’’ display and it’s not too big for me. I don’t have anything bad to say and I’m very satisfied with my purchase!

I'm not taxing it with any hardworking programs, mostly Internet browsing and some streaming. It has exceeded my expectations. It only has one USB port and it doesn't have an HDMI port.

Boots up in about 15 seconds, sure beats older HD technology. Touch screen is also useful. Laptop screen is a tad big for my liking, The 13” was not on sale. This 15.6” size works well and very happy with performance so far!

I did all the updates first thing after firing it up and have had no problems with screen flicker reported by some. The SSD is the only way to go as far as boot speed is concerned. I like the screen more then the competition at its price level. It is a bit glossy but I installed a screen protective cover as I got a Lenovo pen as well. This matte finish eliminated the reflection. Laptop selection all comes down to what you are really going to use it for. Web browsing and office software- this is more than adequate. I got the 8th generation I5 chip as most say the I7 is a little overkill for normal use but it never hurts to go up if your budget won't be hurt. If you need more storage go for more than the 256 SSD but it costs more. Personally I won't go back to standard HDD because the are so slow. An external HD isn't very expensive and an optional way to go to expand your storage space.

It’s a little on the larger side but very thin and not heaven so it doesn’t feel bulky. The laptop is awesome and I’ve had zero issues with it! Very practice and I love that I can turn it into a tablet.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. This is a fast system with its Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

The main reason I picked this computer is because of the memory, storage, price, 15.6" screen and back light on the keyboard. It is fast and exceeded my expectations. The computer was on sale and through student deals I saved an additional $100. The only down side is the battery life does not last 11 hours but I usually get around 8.

This system ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. At 8 hours, you are close to the maximum range of the battery live. Some tips for extending battery, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

This laptop is pretty fast, thin yet sturdy. It did not come with a DVD drive due to size, but most software is available via a download these days. Touchscreen is very responsive. Setup took minimal time.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. You can keep your computer running at its optimum keeping Windows 10 and all of the supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. This is easily accomplished by scanning the computer regularly with the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help. My only issue with it is how sharp the edges are and it is hard to open. It feels like they can cut you easily and there’s not a notch to make opening it easier.
