It can be used as either a traditional laptop or a tablet plus is extremely thin and light weight. This ultra portable configuration limits the space available for ports on the device. If you need more USB ports with the Yoga 730-15, you may want to consider using a USB Hub with the device.

Namely the screen has weird "drag" spots. So when using a pen to draw there are areas that feel... Sticky or almost rough... I tested a bunch of laptops... And samsung screens were all smooth like butter but most of the lenovas had this issues. That being said for the price and considering I don't draw much... I'm willing to overlook it. And other than that I was loving it... Until tonight. My speaker blew?! I have barely used it and never at full volume. It just popped and now its blown... For no reason. Last important thing. This is a best buy version. The folks at lenova don't even know the config inside. I wanted to upgrade the ram or HD and Noone can tell me if that's possible but cause this config is so weird. So... That's it. Its a beautiful machine and worth the price if those few things don't bother you.

Posted .Concerning your issue with using an active/digital pen with the Yoga 730-15, this model uses a glass front panel for the touchscreen interface, there should be no "drag spots". We recommend you have the Best Buy Geek Squad take a look at this issue, since this is an Open Box model. This model ships with stereo JBL speakers, with Dolby Atmos sound enhancement software. This version of Dolby Atmos software is for use with headphones. If you are using the system speakers with this version of Dolby Atmos, we recommend you turn off Dolby Atmos while using the system speakers. If the audio problem persists, you can scan the BIOS and Driver software on this device by using the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. With regard to upgrading the Yoga 730-15, This model is not user upgradable. A certified technician must do all of the work, so as to not void the warranty. Bluetooth feature is very nice and I recommend purchasing a bluetooth mouse, if you prefer a mouse, as ports are limited. Love the fingerprint security feature. Touch screen is a nice feature. This is the 2nd Lenovo laptop in my home. From experience, Lenovo laptops are great quality and performance quality does not diminish and feel outdated as quickly as other laptops we have owned.

Has a wifi issue that seems to afflict many of similar Lenovo models where constantly disconnects. Seems to be a driver issue, Lenovo tech support directed me to download a reference driver for a different model Lenovo laptop, seems to have fixed the issue.

Had to switch out at first though because of some wifi connectivity issues. I ended doing some trouble shooting for the second one and the problem turned out to be in the software. Other than that it’s a pretty good laptop.

I like its compact size and minimal weight. I also like the touchscreen capabilities. It is going to take me a bit of time to get used to how things work, but that is the case with any new computer.

There are hundreds for free instructional videos there about Windows 10. Just type Windows 10 Introduction in to the YouTube search window. You can watch free videos there that will show you the basics all the way up to tips and tricks videos and they're all free.

WiFi did not work initially, but issue was fixed

The laptop worked perfectly fine initially, but then the internet started to drop out every couple minutes. I took the laptop in, they reinstalled all the drivers, and 5 minutes into using it at home the internet dropped again. This happened all within the first week of owning the laptop, so I was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. It took about 2 weeks for the laptop to come back to me. They replaced the WiFi card (not sure of the exact name), but it's been working perfectly fine until then. My rating comes primarily from my experience with the laptop within the first few weeks of purchasing it. Keeping it 3 stars though the laptop works fine now, only because I've read around that this is a common issue with these laptops/brand.
