Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. This system has the Quad-Core/Eight Thread, 8th generation, Intel Core i7-8550U processor. It has 802-11AC WiFi capability and a 256GB solid state hard drive. This system is extremely fast, there should be no lag time. There are Lenovo utilities installed on the device to help you maintain the health of the device. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window. Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I bought it for school usage but I have used it for work and business and it exceeds my expectations! Perfect laptop to photoshop on, work on, and do school work. It is never slow and I have had it for over a year now, I got it on sale so it's definitely worth it for the price! My sister loved it so much, she bought her own!

The latter since I have a 24" HD monitor for image post processing. I use the Creative Cloud for storage of Lightroom and Photoshop images so hard drive size was not a serious issue for me. The latest gen i7 processor is a plus. Beyond that - decent batt life, finger print reader, and touch screen are great additional features.

I use it for photography and some gaming along with some business features. I'm also able to use my bamboo pen on it for drawing. I love that it's also touch screen and had other helpful features of both a laptop and tablet. I definitely recommend.

A thin, lightweight laptop

I've never had a solid state drive before, and worried about not having enough storage. It's worked just fine for me, and I like that it doesn't heat up like laptops with old hard drives.

This new one is a little bit bigger than the one I previously owned, but I'm loving how easy it is to work with and use. I also love the new SSD (solid state drive) which means in my kind of language that it will last longer and work so much better! This is a win win in my book.

Very Good Laptop - Need Better Battery Life

I had to return the 1st one of these that I bought due to a network adapter that was constantly dropping my wireless connection. I returned the laptop before the 14 day return policy at Best Buy and the second one has been fine so far. I actually bought the same PC for my college son with an I5 processor and his laptop has been fine. The form factor of the 2 in 1 with a 15 inch screen is nice, although given the size I am not sure how often I will really use the tablet configuration, I think it is just to large for use as a tablet. The only thing that I wish was better is the battery life. I typically run out of battery using it during a normal day and it requires me to plug it in. I have used this laptop to replace my home desktop computer so the battery life is not a deal breaker for me.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 730-15 ships with a 3CELL 51.5WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. The Yoga 730-15, as you point out, has great WiFi connectivity. It may be necessary to up date communications drivers at initial setup of the device. You can easily accomplish this by using the Lenovo Utility software installed on the computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Great Computer For My Needs (so far)

I use it to search the internet and to use Microsoft Office programs; it’s very quick and responsive. I’m not watching movies or playing games on it. The battery seems to have good life as well. I have worked on it unplugged for several hours and still had plenty of charge left.

Fast, Light, and Sturdy, Good Work Horse

Fast processor and SSD drive, so feel good loading-up lots of simultaneous applications. Good touch screen control, excellent lighted keyboard, good touch pad. Finger tip reader for security is a bit marginal as a static reader, not a swiper. Only shortfalls are with I/O ports... only 1-USB2.0, 1-USB3.0, and NO RJ45 network jack, no SD card read, no CD/DVD drive. The wireless network adapter is fine, but I prefer to be hardwired. So given that I use a bluetooth KB/Mouse via USB2.0, that only leaves the one USB3.0 jack! To solve this, I separately purchased a USB3.0 adapter that provides... RJ45 network port, and two USB3.0 jacks. Several styles to pick from, with other ports as well. I already have a USB card reader and DVD drive, but if you don't, you might want those as well.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 730-15. The Yoga 730-15 has built in Bluetooth 4.1 capability, so if you are using a Bluetooth mouse, you don't need a USB Bluetooth receiver. It will save you one standard USB port. Both standard USB ports on the Yoga 730-15 are USB 3.0 speed ports. There is also a 3.5mm headset jack, one Thunderbolt port and one full size HDMI port within this configuration.

It's fast and has amazing graphics. Great for gaming even without a separate graphics card. Had over a year and never a problem. The touch screen and dule tablet function is amazing and makes it great for note taking.

Solid Choice but Check device hardware

This is a solid choice for a laptop and offers a lo of flexibility. Eliminating any hinge stress and being able to tent the laptop is great for working in places where the fans might be blocked. *However* look at the device hardware upon opening. If your WIFI card is RealTEK, replace it immediately with an intel card. Check for compatibility but personally I went against Lenovo's recommendation and purchased a WIFI 6 802.11ax and have no problems with it. RealTEK is a crappy card and constantly disconencts. Youtube the replacement. It DOES NOT void the warranty AND is NOT soldered to the motherboard. One screw. Easy. Card cost $20.
