Hello, tanoli, we are sorry to hear that you encountered an issue with your camera on your Yoga 7i 14. This model ships with an FHD (1080p resolution) webcam with manual Privacy Shutter built in. Be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If your camera is still not functional, we recommend checking for updates trough Windows Update settings and Lenovo Vantage. To navigate there, select start on the taskbar (windows logo) or press the windows key on the keyboard then select Settings. In Settings, select Windows Update, and then select the Check For Updates button. Install any available updates and restart your PC if required. If you didn’t have any updates that required a restart, it’s still a good idea to restart your device to make sure any pending updates are installed. Additionally, check for updates in the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled on Windows devices. You can check by opening the app, navigating to the device tab, and selecting the “check for updates” option. If there are updates to install, follow the onscreen directions to finalize those updates. This model ships with Windows 11 Home, 64-bit Operating System installed which includes a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 11 operating system. To keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. If you need the Enterprise version of Microsoft Office, you may need to add that software separately. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty with the initial activation of Windows 11, the setting up of your Microsoft Account and the transfer of your legacy files and programs. Windows 11 makes it easy to activate the factory-installed version that comes with this Yoga 7i 14. There are both onscreen as well as audio (thanks to Cortana, if you choose to use the audio instructions) step by step instructions to activate and setup your Microsoft Account. Within the Lenovo Vantage APP, there is a easy migration APP to help with the transfer of files from your old computer to this new Yoga 7i 14. Also, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11, this includes any legacy software you want to install from an old computer. Be sure that the software use license you have allows for transferring the software to a second computer. Additionally, there is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. Before contacting support, first, try adjusting the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity.
