Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Lenovo Yoga 7i is a solid laptop for college students, offering a sleek design and the versatility of a 2-in-1 touch display. The performance from the Intel Core i5-1240P handles multitasking well, though the 8GB of memory could be limiting for more demanding tasks. The 256GB SSD provides decent storage, but you'll likely need an external drive if you have a lot of files.

Perfect.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is a beast. I have been using it every day for the past couple of months and am absolutely in love with it. Starting with the display, it's perfect. It is a perfect size, the 2.5k screen is crisp and clear, and the brightness is perfect. The feeling of the laptop is great. It is not too heavy, but it's not flimsy. The keyboard is phenomenal. I have always loved Lenovo's scissor switches. The trackpad is very large and clicky. For the performance, super fast. The Evo processors have always been a preference. The difference between the 11th Gen EVO I had on my previous laptop and the 12th on this laptop is very noticeable; everything is smooth and responsive. A couple of things I am not too keen on. First, the speakers. Lenovo really boasted the speakers on this, but they are not very good. Even at loud volumes they sound muffled even with being directly located on the top of the keyboard. It's not a huge deal since I use external speakers most of the time. Secondly, the battery life. The battery life is what I expected, which is not the best you can get. I can get a solid 4-5hrs of usage out of the laptop before having to charge it, which is good. But, sometimes I just don't feel like plugging it in at night, which I cannot do. Not a big deal. I am fine with sacrifices for the other amazing benefits this laptop offers. Overall, this laptop is a beast and a bang for your buck. You are getting a top-tier performance and display with a premium feel for less than some other competitors. (I think you know who I am talking about)

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0001US. This model configuration ships with 4 Stereo system speakers, 3W x2 (woofers - omni-directional, down-facing), 2W x2 (tweeters - front facing), optimized with Dolby Atmos, Smart Amplifier (AMP). For the best audio experience, be sure to adjust the Dolby Atmos software to your personal preferences. This Yoga 7i 16 ships with Intel Evo-Certified, All-Day-Battery-Life, thanks to its Integrated 71Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 11 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery Charge Threshold is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. You can turn off Battery Charge Threshold within the Lenovo Vantage APP installed on this computer. In Vantage select Battery Settings and turn off Battery Charge Threshold, if turned on. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 11 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-find-what-is-running-in-windows-11/. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Excellent laptop.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.400 nit screen is very bright and has sharp resolution and excellent color gamut. The Core i5 1240P is more than adequate - no slowdowns at all. The sound is excellent for a laptop. The 360 degree swivel is nice. The keyboard is great. Large touchpad. Battery life is great. I like the included small USB charger - very light. 8GB memory might be a problem for some people, but if you only use Office, browse the internet, and watch videos, you don't need more. The 256GB disk is limiting, but I store my files on One Drive anyway, so not a big deal. One minor issue is the glossy screen in bright surroundings, but the 400 nits mostly deals with that. Overall excellent.

Lenovo Yoga For The Win
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been years since I purchased a new computer; when I realized I needed a new one I compared the Lenovo - Yoga and the equivalent HP version. The HP was a little lower in price but it did not have a keypad on the side like the Yoga does. Honestly, with the specs and reviews being so close, that was my real deciding factor. I have to say I am extremely happy with this purchase! This computer is fast (please note, I do not game on it or anything like that), it has great clarity on the screen, and it is large enough that the keyboard doesn't feel cramped which makes typing more proficient. The battery life on this computer is exceptional as well! Honestly, at this point, I have 0 complaints or concerns with this purchase. I am extremely pleased!

Can’t Beat Lenovo

Display, battery life and build quality!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked one up after a disappointing experience with an Asus. This solved every issue. Display is brilliant, crisp and bright with incredibly vibrant colors. Processing is smooth and can handle multiple apps and a ridiculous number of tabs open at once (a problem on other computers that had similar specs). Battery life is amazing. Build quality is solid- feels more like a high-end Dell XPS or Macbook Pro in terms of build quality. Super happy with this one.

Excellent for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this laptop for about a year and a half now, and I've used it all day, every day for school work and work work. The screen is gorgeous with rich colors and a high resolution, perfect for text on webpages and online textbooks. The webcam is okay, but the privacy shutter is nice to have when you want to be sure no one is spying. The keyboard and trackpad are great to work on, no flex on either. 8 gigabytes of RAM isn't much these days, I would consider it the bare minimum for online browsing. I often hit the limit with just a few Firefox tabs open and my VPN running, so you probably won't be doing much in the way of productivity programs. The aluminum chassis is beautiful and takes a beating. I throw my laptop in my backpack and throw my backpack everywhere and so far I've only got a few minor dings and scuffs, but they've aged well. The glass screen seems robust enough, I haven't hurt it in any way considering how rough I've been with it. The speakers are great however, you'll need to do a little tuning with the Dolby Atmos software to get a great sound out of it. Overall it's been a great laptop and well work the sub $700 I paid for it almost 2 years ago.

Lenovo Yoga 7i
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop about a month ago for my schooling. The screen resolution is great and it is very easy to navigate. I really like the backlit keyboard and the size of the screen and keyboard. I didn't want a super small laptop but I was also worried about the weight of the computer. This one is not too heavy considering the size.

Excellent light-medium use laptop
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent computer especially at the clearance price I paid. The RAM is not upgradable since it's soldered but for some light to moderate use it works great. Watching media on it is awesome because of the glossy 2.5k screen, touch screen as well.

Glad I chose this one!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched from a MacBook Air that I had for 13 years but didn't want to spend $$$ on a new Mac. So I found this Lenovo and it sounded great plus had positive reviews. I am enjoying this so much. Love the bigger screen/display & sharp image resolution, it functions well, easy to use, desktop is set up like a Mac with icons at the bottom of the screen. I have had it about 2 months and am glad I chose this laptop. I haven't yet used all its functions but so far I'm very happy with it. I don't do gaming so can't comment about that. Streaming is fine also. The only downside is the battery life. Stated as purchased, @ 10 hours. That may be true if you charge to 100% then let it go down to 5%. But if you want a battery that lasts longer so that you get maybe an extra year of use, then it's recommended to keep it charges between 40%-80%. Which is a setting you can do on the laptop (maximum charge of 80%). So I have to plug it in for a recharge about every day or every other day. For someone using it for mobile work, just be sure to have a place to plug it in for recharging.

Good brand
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not too large. Performance to date excellent. I had a Lenovo before and was quite pleased with it. This one promises to be just as good. It also has more features than the last which was not Touch, nor was it a 2-in 1. It also retains a longer battery life.

Excellent Laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this Lenovo Yoga for 16 months and am very happy with it. I like the large screen and touchpad. The laptop handles all of my business needs. (Note that I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to that.) The battery is long-lasting. This is my second Lenovo Yoga laptop. My previous Yoga lasted 5 years before my cat ate the "e" key and I decided to give the laptop to my dad and buy a new one for me. The old Lenovo is still going strong with a separate keyboard which my dad prefers. I'm sold on Lenovo's!
