The Xe graphics are kinda surprising given that it's just an APU, not a discrete GPU. And the CPU is powerful enough for almost anything that you'd want to throw at it. The build quality is really good as well, considering my last laptop was a Lenovo T450 thats understandable.

I switched from HP because the quality of the the HP machine, in my opinion, has been sliding. Always end up with issues with the screen separating, etc. This Lenovo is rock solid. I didn't even realize it didn't come with a DVD drive. I guess for this price I expected that to be included. Had to buy an external one. Also, hate the mouse pad. No left or right buttons to click. You have to just "sense" where the buttons would be and click in that area. Constant issues with clicking on the wrong thing, etc. Also, the mouse pad is not centered, so I'm constantly clicking on the wrong part of the pad because for years and years, all mouse pads have been centered. No issues with anything else on the machine.

This Yoga 7i 16 ships with a Buttonless glass surface multi-touch touchpad, which supports Precision TouchPad (PTP) features. You can adjust the touchpad to your personal preferences in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. This Yoga 7i 16 also ships with a full-size, Backlit, English (US) Version, standard QWERTY keyboard, with 10-Key Numeric Pad included. The touchpad is centered under the QWERTY keys, so that when the typist's hands are in the Home Position on the keyboard, the touchpad is centered directly under the typist's hands.
