Resetting a Windows 11 computer like this Lenovo Yoga 7i 16 back to original factory settings once a black screen issue occurs can sometimes correct the issue. Power off the computer and plug in the 65W USB-C Slim (2-pin, Wall-mount) AC adapter/charger that ships with your Yoga 7i 16, with the computer still powered off. This system is equipped with OneKey Recovery System. There is a very small pin hole on the bottom left side of the device, right near the top left corner of the cooling vent on the bottom of the device. You will need a pin to push this reset button. Plug the device in. Let the battery charge for about 15 minutes, with the power off. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose "Restore To Factory Default". Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. If you don't have copies of the files, try to make one before you restore by selecting "Boot to desktop" and trying to back up your files. This is a fast configuration with its 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1260P Processor, 16GB Soldered LPDDR5-4800MHz RAM and a 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0x4 NVMe solid state hard drive. This Yoga 7i 16 also uses the latest integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics. displayed on a 16:10 aspect ratio, 16 inch (screen size measured diagonally) IPS - 2.5K (2560x1600) 10-point Multi-touch screen, with a brightness level of 400 nits, has a Glossy Finish. This screen provides 100 Percent of the sRGB color gamut for excellent color accuracy. This screen is Dolby Vision and TÜV Low Blue Light Certified. If you are getting less than expected performance, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. This model ships with both a FHD 1080p & IR webcam with facial recognition for Windows Hello Biometric Login, with Privacy Shutter and a Touch style fingerprint reader on palm rest, also with Windows Hello Biometric Login capability. We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the included 65W USB-C slim (2-pin, wall-mount) AC adapter/charger, supports PD 3.0, 100-240V, 50-60Hz that ships with this Lenovo Yoga 7i 16, model number 82QG0000US. First, be sure you are using the correct port to charge your Lenovo Yoga 7i 16. There is a USB-c format Thunderbolt 4.0 compatible port on the left side of the computer, with both the Thunderbolt Lighteningbolt Icon and an electric plug icon nex to the port that charges the computer. Plug the inluded USB-c format plug into that port, then plug the 2-pin wall side plug into a wall socket. You will see the LED charging light next to the charging port light up. If you are still having issues charging your computer, now place the cursor over the battery icon at the bottom of the Windows 11 Desktop screen. If the battery charge level is above 50 Percent, unplug the computer and let the battery drain to below 50 Percent capacity. Now plug the charger back into the correct port on the computer and the other end into a wall socket. Your computer will begin charging back to 100 Percent capacity. If you continue to have issues with the included AC USB-c Format Charger, we recommend you make an appointment with your local Best Buy Store Geek Squad and have them assess the problem for you further.
