Good laptop but not great

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought the laptop with 512GB then I upgraded to 1TB afterwards and installed Win11 OS from Microsoft. During the setup, it required internet access to continue the setup. The problem is WiFi drivers was not pre-installed during the setup and I can't get pass it, won't detect my wifi. THIS NEED TO BE FIXED, LENOVO. Luckily I have USB-C to NIC adapter to pass it and continue the setup. After everything is setup, my screen brightness back light keeps going in and out like dark to bright light. Not happy with it but doesn't bother me. Battery life is good....estimate 8 hours on 50% screen brightness and on other power settings. RAM is soldered down...can't upgrade it. Just like MacBook laptop, it powered on the moment you open the laptop which is awesome and it is fast performance.

This Yoga 7i 16 ships with Windows 11 Home 64-bit, English Version Operating System with all Operating System BIOS files and drivers installed, including the drivers for the Intel AX211NGW Chip for WiFi-6 connectivity, on the 512GB M.2 2242 PCIe 3.0x4 NVMe solid state hard drive this Yoga 7i 16 ships with. Regarding your screen brightness issues, check to see that the auto brightness feature is turned off or adjusted to your personal preference. The screen has excellent color, i spent the extra money got the 16gb, well worth it, you won't be disappointed. I got it on sale and there was nothing else that could compare for the price.

It was difficult to down load the virus protection after the trial was over. I had to call the company and they had issues but eventually success happened. I like the quickness and how smooth the computer operates. I haven’t had it but a month so time will tell but I expect it to be good for the long haul. I am a happy customer!

This is my 2nd Lenovo and I went back to Lenovo for a reason. One, the Intel I7 is a must, way better than an I5. Also the computer is smaller but the picture size runs basically edge to edge giving a bit more than 16 " I really like this so far!

The 10-key is a great feature. The keyboard has a nice feel, which makes typing go smoothly. I use this all day without the battery running out.

It’s a really nice laptop with a really sturdy build, and good specs. The only downside is it’s a little heavy but I love the feel and look of it.

I haven't even installed some of the software I need (Microsoft Office, etc.). As for battery life, I have no knowledge based on experience. I like the display though.

Great Work Computer

The Lenovo works perfect for this. Now, I'm not creating images, downloading huge files. But for day-to-day business transactions it's worked perfectly for my needs.

The 10 key was a must for me. Machine looks great and screen is a 10/10. I highly recommend this machine.
