Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Yoga 7i's impressive battery life, responsive touchscreen, and stellar performance. Many appreciate its lightweight design, ease of use, and convenient size. While some users noted that the device can get warm under heavy use and the fan can be noticeable at times, the positive feedback on other features significantly outweighs these minor drawbacks. The 16GB of RAM is also frequently praised for enabling smooth multitasking.

Got this laptop after returning an HP 2 in 1 Envy 14" (i7 processor, 1 TB of storage, otherwise great specs). My main complaint with that laptop was the weight and how hot it would get with minimal use. I was used to a 15.6" so was already missing the number pad on the side, and my old 15.6" was essentially the same weight as the 14" Envy, so ended up returning it. I'm a student, so portability is important to me. When I first picked up this laptop, what caught my initial attention was how light it was despite also being a 2 in 1 laptop. It was also on sale at the time for around $850 or so, so that was a bonus. It also has the i7 Evo chip, which means great battery life, an extremely fast wake-up time, decent audio (haven't tested this out on a movie but it was good enough for me attending a Zoom meeting without headphones), a beautiful display, and very light weight. So far, I've had this laptop for a week and I'm extremely impressed with it. The fan hasn't been running excessively and it rarely heats up with regular usage (multiple tabs and word docs/excels open). It opens things very fast and the wake up time is great (only annoying thing is you have to hit the on/off button to wake it up from sleep rather than wiggling the mouse, but that's not a huge deal). The battery life has also been great, easily lasting me a whole day with one charge even after attending a 1 hour Zoom meeting / across several days if used inconsistently. I ordered an HP Pavillion 15.6" online so waiting for that to come in to compare, but based on how this laptop has been performing so far, I'm afraid I'm already a bit biased to this one. The keys are also satisfyingly clicky, so that's been fun. Mouse pad is decent, there's a bit of drag on your finger but it's minimal and I just bumped up the cursor speed so it's as fast as I want it. Of note, if you're considering getting a stylus pen, make sure to check if the pen is compatible first. The Microsoft Surface Slim 2 pen I had laying around was NOT compatible, so if I decide to keep the laptop, I'll have to play around with pens that work with it. Haven't been able to test that out yet. Haven't heard the best about Lenovo customer service so unsure if that will be a problem later down the road, haven't heard much about the hinges either but they seem sturdy enough for now. Overall, great experience so far, would recommend!

Sure, here's a review of the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 14" 2.2K Laptop in the second person: When you first lay your hands on the Lenovo Yoga 7i, you'll notice its sturdy and elegant design. Its anodized aluminum body feels light yet strong, making it comfortable for you to carry around. As you open the laptop, you're greeted by a bright and colorful 14-inch 2.2K touch screen. However, you might find the panel a bit dim in certain lighting conditions. When you start working, the Intel Core i7-1355U processor and 16GB of memory ensure a smooth and responsive experience. The 512GB SSD provides swift data access and ample storage for your files. One of the standout features you'll appreciate is the long battery life. This laptop also supports an active pen for note-taking or sketching, although you'll need to purchase it separately. You might find the integrated graphics limiting if you're into gaming or media creation. Also, keep in mind that the memory is soldered on, so you won't be able to upgrade it later. Overall, the Lenovo Yoga 7i could be a solid choice for you if you're seeking a balance of performance, portability, and battery life. It's particularly suitable if you're looking for a device for office or schoolwork.

    A Joy To Use

    * Excellent design * Solid build * Portable weight * Ideal size for a 2-in-1 * Great display and audio * Comfortable keypad * Facial and fingerprint security authorization * Ideal for work, school, and non gaming play (i.e., internet, movies, social media) These elements combine to make the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14” a joy to use. Its design has a modern look and feel with smart features like a camera shutter for added privacy within a slightly extended lid that enables easy lifting with a single hand. The ergonomic keypad layout yields a comfortable, quiet, typing experience with keys that have just the right amount of spring. The sharp, glossy display, combined with Dolby Atmos audio creates a pleasurable user experience. What really stands out is the 2-in-1 function. The lid rotates 360 degrees providing three viewing options: laptop, tablet, and tent. This is where the 14” size and light weight come into play, because it makes the device easy to handle, and comfortable to port. 14” is an ideal size for a tablet — not too small to view, yet not too large or heavy to hold for an extended period. Portability is not just about getting from point A to B, but the experience of how it feels in-between. For example, porting between home and work in a backpack is one consideration, but how about when you’re relaxing in a comfortable chair, sofa, or bed? Over an extended period of time, if the device is too heavy, it won’t be comfortable to hold. This is not a problem with the 14”, though it might be with the 16” which is considerably heavier. This is a recent purchase, so time will be the true test of its worth. Thus far, its been a pleasure to own.

I've been using the Lenovo Yoga 7i for a while now, and it's been great. The screen is really nice and clear, perfect for watching videos and working. It flips around easily, which is super handy when I want to use it as a tablet. The performance is smooth too—I can have lots of tabs open and it doesn’t slow down, thanks to the i7 processor and 16GB RAM. It's also got plenty of storage for all my files. Plus, it looks really sleek in Storm Grey. Battery lasts a good while, so I don’t worry about plugging in during the day. Overall, I'm really happy with it.

This has been a great laptop so far. As a 14" model, it's easier to carry around and travel with versus larger laptops. The laptop has a nice metal feeling finish instead of feeling like cheap plastic. The performance is great. The i7 combined with 16GB RAM and SSD make this a "zippy" laptop. The screen, in my opinion, is beautiful. It's a glossy screen and colors pop quite a bit. It's not perfect, but it's one of the best screens I've had with a laptop. Plus, it's touchscreen! I've not used the "360" function very often yet, but it's worked well the couple of times I tried it. The hinges seem solid, but I know others have mentioned issues with them after a year or so.
