Lackluster display and external monitor problems

In addition I wasn't thrilled with the color accuracy despite 72% NTSC. Colors seemed dull when compared side by side with other monitors at home. Ultimately I returned it because I tried to hook it up to a 2k external monitor and it didn't work out. The Intel chip and integrated GPU is really powerful and supports 8k monitors, however, Lenovo, in all their wisdom, caps the output at whatever comes with the hardware, so my 2k display would only show 1080p. Learned that the hard way after three days of phone tag with Lenovo tech support that they artificially bottlenecked the CPU on their machines. (This is why I build my own computers. But can't build a laptop...) Worth knowing that it comes with Thunderbolt 4 ports, but no video output. I got a USB-C to Displayport cable, not that it matters.

As of now it is working well. Just updated the windows. Love how mobile and easy to use this is. My 9 year old uses it as well to draw and no finger prints on the screens.

Best laptop I've had.

It's very quick and looks great. The screen is bigger than my older Lenovo, which is the same in size but had a one inch border. Windows 11, in my opinion is much faster and better.

Great Convertible Laptop

Please ensure you have installed the latest version of Windows 10. You can do this by typing "update" into the Windows 10 Cortana Search Bar at the lower left corner of the screen. If the issue persists, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC” Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on-screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-668

I purchased it to consolidate 3 other older ( much slower) laptops. The speed is fast and the touch screen works very well! Cool Laptop, But Overheats when Idling!

I am not sure why, but this laptop gets hot really fast, and I believe Windows 11 makes it way worse. (Taking up 5gb of RAM just Idling!) The rest of the laptop is great, the sleek design, the fingerprint sensor, touch screen. It all works great. The main issue is overheating. I took it in to Best Buy to get it checked out, and Geek Squad wouldn’t even look at it without having me pay. Even though it was a brand new laptop under premium coverage.
