I was contemplating on getting the new macbook air M1, but I'm not comfortable paying over $1000 for a computer. My usage is mainly for music, paperwork, web browsing and emails. I finally came across this Lenovo Yoga for what I needed a laptop for and the price was a no brainner and a steal. Very sleek and light weight. No issues. Looking for a budget laptop that can do it all I recommend this laptop. Especially if your working for home and/or school.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Lenovo yoga i7 laptop is all around a great laptop it is normal a bit pricey however there is or was an almost 200 dollar discount so I did save some money it has half a tarabite of storage and a whopping 12 gigs of memory so it is worth it if you aren’t on to much of a budget. There was however a small issue, it sometimes freezes but its wasn’t like a bad long freeze just a one second freeze. There was a week were it was not responding the screen was black it would sometimes not turn on and etc.basically it was hassle but I got it fixed and now I don’t really have any big issues

You can make sure your Yoga 7i 14 is always up to date and running at its best, by checking for Operating System updates regularly. Check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10/11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10/11. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10/11. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. It is the first Lenovo I've owned and I've been satisfied so far. The laptop is fast and fairly light. My main issues are that it doesn't have many ports (1 usb and no hdmi) and the screen is a little bit dim. It was on sale when I purchased it as well, so it was overall a good value. Good for general use.

I’m older so I wish I had gotten a larger screen but I like being able to just touch the screen to zoom in as you would on a cell phone. The light weight makes it so easy for me to take it along wherever I’m going.

Be sure to remove the clear plastic covering that is affixed to the lens of the webcam before use. This clear tape is very hard to see, but it is necessary to protect the webcam lens during shipment. Also, be sure the Privacy Shutter is completely open before trying to use the webcam or the webcam will not operate. There is a small slider, directly above the webcam lens. Move the tab to the right to open the Privacy Shutter. There is a red dot over the webcam lens that will disappear when the Privacy Shutter is fully open. This will indicate that the webcam is really to use. You can close the Privacy Shutter when you are done with the webcam for your security, by sliding the tab to the left to close the Privacy Shutter. The Red Dot will appear over the webcam lens when the Privacy Shutter is closed. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
