I purchased the Lenovo Yoga 7i 14" to compare with the Yoga 9i for home/work use. The pros: 1. I really loved the keyboard which for me is important bc Im doing a lot of work on it typing up docs, using excel etc vs basic web surfing. 2. the Specs were pretty good 12G Memory which is good for multi-tasking basic home and work use (more on this later) 3. 512 SSD - enough for my needs 4. Decent screen for watching movies (more on this) 5. Speakers were good quality and found the sound to be good for watching movies, and could have zoom calls without having to use headphones and there are a LOT of computers in this price range which have poor speakers that sound tinny or have a tunnel/echo effect Cons: 1. 12 Gb - there's no 16GB option. Why not? I was looking for a future proof purchase so i could use for @5 years. The 12 GB IS slower in functionality than the Yoga 9i at 16 GB. I did a test downloading files from the cloud as well as transferring files using same cable and same wifi. 2. The screen is FHD which is good, but not great compared to the 9i and other screens. It only has about 300 nits and trust me it makes a difference if you've used a screen with 400 nits. With that said if you haven't SEEN the difference, you probably won't know. :) 3. Placement of the speakers -- I eat while I work and watch movies etc and crumbs do sometimes fall... so those tiny little holes on the side for the speakers... I dont think that works for me, and if you use in tent mode, the speakers don't follow you, so there's a sound difference.

I love my new laptop! I needed a new one for work since my old laptop kept losing wifi connection. This Yoga 7i is so fast. It turns on in seconds and has lasted a good 7-8 hours for me doing normal office stuff and zoom meetings. It's very portable too. I wouldn't mind carrying it around when things open up again and I have to head back to the office. I would definitely recommend.

I've had my Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 for about 3 weeks now. I love it! Light weight and portable, but solid and well-made. Fast! Crisp, clear screen. Very comfortable keyboard and responsive pad. And it holds a charge for hours, rather than minutes which was a huge issue with my old laptop! I didn't set out to purchase a Lenovo, but I'm glad I did! Highly recommend.

Great deal, fast shipping. Laptop broke after 1 1/2 years but not sure what the issue was. Worked great before that and I really liked all its features. Maybe its a little delicate. Seems I had a motherboard issue.. not sure if its manufacturer issue or it got knocked.

Great computer. Mouse jumps around too much and initially had a problem with the microphone. It's quality was poor. I updated the bios and the drivers and it fixed the problems. I like that it is lightweight, has a fast processor clock, 12GB of memory and sizeable hard drive, great display resolution.

Fast, lightweight, long battery life, easy to set up!

This 2 in 1 Yoga 7i is powerfull, fast and the battery life is amazing. Super easy to setup. I purchased this for my wife's birthday and she loves it. she wanted something smaller than the 15.6 inch laptop she had and with this being 14" and not heavy at all she can take it anywayre.

Bought this as a gift for my wife. She uses it with Office 365 and her photo software. Very high quality, excellent battery life. Love the touch screen and the ability to use it as a tablet. Light weight, thin and the 14 inch screen makes it easy to travel with.

Nice portable option. The screen is wider than it is tall which took a minute to get used to, but it is a nice feature. I needed a portable laptop and it helps fit a smaller profile. As with most laptops these days, it is already very light. The computer is running smoothly so far. Very satisfied.

This laptop has been a great investment since I purchased it. Prior, I was never familiar with Lenovo products but this one gave me really very little to complain about. Runs smoothly, video output looks great, track pad sensitivity seems just right and helps with the accuracy of the cursor a lot, if you decide to use the track pad over a mouse. The screen is also really durable, I dropped it face-first on my kitchen floor while it was in “yoga” mode, (seamless transition, might I add) and my heart dropped, but to my surprise, it was perfectly fine when I picked it up. Really my only complaint is the single USB port, but that can be rectified with the purchase of a USB hub. Laptop also runs most popular games pretty well, although I never tested with anything too demanding like Call of Duty

I've had it for about a month and it's been great! I love the tablet feature because when I pull up netflix it feels like a little TV. It's also great for studying and having a lot of tabs open + word + other programs open at the same time. I'm a college student so I'll for sure benefit from the pen writing feature once I buy the pen lol. It's like $50 but that's better than the apple pen aha. I got this on sale as well which was an awesome deal- it was like 740. Anyways, go for it, its slim and a beautifully simple design. Having fans in the back is great and I like the side power button and the finger print login. Also if u change to tablet mode, it recognizes it and turns off the keyboard functions so that's cool. My old laptop was so bulky and the battery lasted like an hour outside of the charger lol + the fans were loud and it got so hot. This laptop's battery is SO good, it's so ideal for an on the move device

Bought this laptop for my 8 year old daugher which was steeply discounted at the time of purchase. There was 2 things that were important to us. First was the size as even though my kid is doing the virtual school now she will be required to carry the laptop to school every day so we wanted something that was under 3 pounds which is still heavy considering LG and other companies talking weights in Grams. Secondly, my daughter wanted a touch screen laptop which she can use with Windows Ink. We still havent tried this feature yet. From a performance perspective, it has done the job well for connecting to a video call or when working with multiple files open. The only issue that i would point out is with the sleep mode. When the laptop goes into a sleep mode the fan does make a lot of noise, however that would be nit picking things here. Overall a happy customer ! Time will tell !

Good laptop works amazing and is very fast and good specs

Great machine, powerful, business ready and versatile. The i7 11th gen chip on this light touch screen form factor is. Great combination. And the color is very nice change from the binary options of black or silvers.

I had been looking at this model for a while and Best Buy had it on sale for around $730 (originally $1,049.99) so we bought it. We were looking at the MacBook Air, but didn’t want to spend the money. The Yoga 7i feels well built, the keyboard has a nice feel to it, it’s fast, and the screen is very nice. Some reviews say the screen doesn’t get bright enough, and that hasn’t been an issue even with sitting in a room with large windows. It has a higher end feel and look compared to similar products. I don’t think the battery life is as good as our MacBook, but it still lasts for several hours. We’re happy with the Lenovo 7i and would buy it again.

laptop is fast, light and battery lasts FOREVER! only downside to this laptop honestly is that the frame edges feel a bit, sharp? you'll know what i mean when you hold it, but definitely worth the $$$.

Great 2 n 1 for the price. Easy set up. Works with Bamboo Pencil. Fast and smooth. Just the right size and weight to carry around easily. Lenovo has historically been a great investment for me.

It met the wants of my grandson, and the requirements for use in college this fall for a freshman, very user friendly, right size screen, and fast. Price a little high.

When I purchased the Lenovo yoga, I had thought I purchased a 14 inch screen. Not realizing that they measure the screen diagonally. So I ended up with one just under 12 1/2 inches. Other than my spreadsheets being too large to see on my screen, I absolutely love the weight, the ease of this small computer. I’m an older person and was a little worrisome about packing around a large clunky laptop to do my job. This laptop is like carrying a book that I would read. If you’re looking for a small computer with lots and lots of guts, you need to look at Lenovo yoga.
