One thing that I don't like, and maybe I just need to get more with the times, is that it comes with no printed manual. This results in more of a time suck for me. I like everything else that I've managed to work my way into. It appears to be a well made, solidly built machine, and hopefully, it will stand the test of time. When I bought this I wanted to get something that wouldn't need to be replaced too soon. This one should do the trick.

I am not sure how long it can keep up the good shape though. I think it will last less years than a Macbook, but consider the price. I can buy another PC when this one slows down. 1. It is fast to start up, which I was concerned about PC before purchasing. But it turns out the speed is good. 2. It has the touch pad that is similar to Macbook design. This is very good for us since we used to use Macbook. 3. It also has a touch screen which is helpful for my kids.

Very Nice Laptop

However, at all too regular intervals my Word program encounters a problem and shuts down. My work is saved but it is somewhat confusing when I try to determine which saved document is the most recent. I'm not sure if this is a software problem or a glitch with the computer itself. Otherwise, the laptop is satisfactory.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 920-14. This system ships with Microsoft Office 365 software installed with Windows 10. It is a 30-day trial version. To keep the software active after the trial all you need to do is input the 25-digit Product Code that comes with your purchased copy of Microsoft Office 365, you do not need to install any additional software. If you installed another copy of Microsoft Office 365, this is the cause of the Office software crashing. You need to uninstall the copy you installed on top of the original version.

I do wish that there was a manual provided with the laptop as well as replacement tips for the Active Pen. Store personnel were unsure how to install the batteries, both watch and AAA, into the pen. Lenovo customer care personnel were of no help either. The windows installation took over four hours to complete which I believe is excessive.

With regard to the length of time for the Window 10 update, times will vary, depending on the number of updates released by Microsoft since the operating system was factory installed. There was recently a major Windows 10 update, called Creator's Update.

I don’t know if i’m personally happy with it, but it’s really because I almost wish I bought a Mac. I have had an issue with this computer locking up and needing to be rebooted. This concerns me. Overall it’s a great computer, I’m just not sure it’s my personal favorite.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 920-14. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.
Perfect for school

I was nervous, as most of us apple snobs are, but the functionality and ease of use in this 2 in 1 Lenovo has been quite a blessing. I’m “old school” and would rather write my notes out than type them which YOGA has allowed me to do as well as keep them all organized in one place. Windows 10 is much different than iOS, but I think it’s axtually a little more user friendly.

Fully loaded for half of a MacBook

Elected to go for the fully loaded version since it was only about a $200 difference between that and the base model. Ended up getting it for a great deal around $1200 the laptop is fast and snappy after a few months now. Great build quality with minimal bloatware. Fingerprint reader allows for quick login and the SSD for a speedy boot up. Overall very pleased.

The only adware on this device is a 30-day trial of McAfee anti virus software. All other software comes with Windows 10 and/or is Lenovo Utility software.
