Great Laptop

Great size, weight and looks amazing - very sleek and doesn’t show fingerprints like darker color laptops do. I bought three other laptops prior to this and took them all back. Very fast, even when working with multiple large Excel files.

Was my first 4K, which caused a bit of a problem, but geek squad handled it in a few minutes. Really happy with it.

Excellent 2-1 laptop

The touchscreen is magnificent, responsive and exact and the Picture quality is great. Processing and data access is very quick. Fingerprint entry is nice. Only issue is it can get hot, especially in tablet mode

This system ships with the Quad-Core/Eight-Thread Intel Core i7-8550U processor, supported by 16GB DDR4-2400MHz and a 512G solid state hard drive. This is a high performance system. It will generate heat whenever it is turned on, even at idle, this is normal. The onboard fan will maintain the proper operating temperature for the device. You will hear the fan whenever it runs, this too is normal.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 920-14. With regard to the performance of the Lenovo Active Pen 2, be sure that the batteries are in the pen properly. Here is a link to instructions for getting started with the Lenovo Active Pen 2: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/options/lenovo_active_pen2_qsg_v2.0_201705.pdf. Additionally, take a look at how you are holding the Lenovo Active Pen 2. If you hold the pen too close to the nub, it will confuse the computer and you get problems by confusing the screen as to which is the proper input, the pen or your hand. Check whether this is the problem for you as well. If you hold the pen (Active Pen 2) at the two buttons, you may have no more problems.

She needed a reliable desktop which she can install/pay games and I have a reliable laptop for home use, especially when traveling overseas.

This laptop is so much lighter than the previous one, is faster, brighter, with more storage and much more useful. Also the battery lasts quite long.

If you need more USB ports a USB Hub can provide those additional USB ports. There is no built in SD card slot on this ultra portable device. You can use an external SD card reader that connects via a USB port with the Yoga 920-14.

I want a higher configuration & what else i can buy.. its Lenova the brand i was interested and i am satisfied with the performance. But price tag is on little higher side. Great overall performance with 8th generation i-7 processer and longer battery life. Also like the hinge design, graphics and the active pen (included). So far so good!!!

Be ready to pony up money for accessories though, because they cut out some connectivity in the name of space/weight saving. Otherwise, love this laptop.

A good product

Posted .The Yoga 920-14 ships with a 4CELL 70WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life. Regarding the 4K resolution, if you use programs that are not compatible with 4K resolution, you can lower the screen resolution.
