I have had the computer for 2 years now and the pen tip broke. The processor is very loud and the computer overheats. it holds a very good battery life which is commendable. After a few years, I noticed I do not like how close the keys are, additional I have audio issues. I have the most issues with switching between tablet and normal mode. There are several issues with the functionality in this aspect to include audio, viewing and the keyboard literally stops working. I give this laptop 4 stars for its versatility and durability. I would recommend if you can deal with the loudness and overheating from time to time.

Design: The Lenovo Yoga 920 is a very elegant laptop, and the attention to detail is astounding. Even the hinge, which reminds me of a watchband, looks purposefully designed to complement the elegant, sophisticated look. Its super sleek design and aluminum finish is not necessarily unique to the market, but Lenovo has done an amazing job with the Yoga 920, perfecting the previous model’s already great design. Aside from the overall appearance, a few of my favorite design aspects are the keyboard, trackpad, tablet mode, and the display. With a spacious layout and well-sized keys, the keyboard feels natural and is easy to type on without accidentally hitting other keys. Similarly, the trackpad is easy to use because it provides plenty of space for scrolling and moving the cursor. Flipping the screen over seamlessly changes the laptop to tablet mode, which deactivates the keyboard below so that, if keys are pressed, they do not type anything. As for the display, it is simply beautiful and spans almost entirely edge to edge. I could go on and on about the design because there is much I have not even mentioned (thunderbolt ports, speakers, webcam, etc.), but in the interest of time, I will conclude this section by saying that there is honestly nothing I do not like about the design of the Yoga 920. Performance/Battery: This laptop is fast, and it can handle multitasking with ease. Powered by the 8th generation Intel Core processor, the Lenovo 920 more than suits my performance needs. I do not notice any lag or extended loading delays in any applications or software that I run on this laptop. The experience is very smooth. Regarding the battery life, it does not disappoint either. I typically use it for several hours during the evening, and it almost lasts the entire week on one charge. I am impressed with the performance and battery life of the Yoga 920. Features: I have tested the Lenovo Active Pen 2 on this laptop, and I like it a lot so far. Although I only have experience with a few other laptop/tablet pens, the Active Pen 2 seems like one of the best on the market. It is natural to hold and glide across the screen, just like actual pen and paper, and the Windows Ink Workspace activates at the click of the pen. As briefly mentioned earlier, it is easy to convert the laptop into tablet mode. While in tablet mode, I almost forget that I am holding a laptop because it is so thin and lightweight. If you are a movie watcher, you will love the high-resolution display and Dolby Atmos sound capability. Although the external speakers are great for a laptop, to experience Dolby Atmos 360-degree sound, you will need to use headphones, but it is worth it. Finally, I have quickly realized how much I appreciate the added convenience and security that a fingerprint sensor provides. It is secure and significantly speeds up the log in process because you do not need to type a password. Verdict: Whether it is the elegant exterior design or the powerful internal processor, or anything in between, the Lenovo Yoga 920 not only meets but exceeds my expectations. I have been nothing but impressed by its design, performance, battery life, and features. If you are in the market for a premium laptop, the Yoga 920 should be on your list to consider. I highly recommend this laptop.

I was unsure at first because I’d not heard much about this laptop before, but I find myself thankful for making the jump. It’s been great for school and great for projects where I needed to create images, it’s so nice being able to draw right onto my screen.

The Lenovo Yoga 920 laptop is beautifully designed and has all the right features. It weighs in at 3 lbs and is made with premium materials like aluminum casing and JBL speakers. It has a watchband type hinge that allows you to open it to any degree that you want. It can be folded completely over to use as a tablet or propped up as a tent for viewing media. It has a smooth rotation with just the right amount of tension to hold it in any position. The YOGA comes with an 8th generation Intel i7 processor for fast and agile processing. It has a 256 GB solid state drive for storage and it turns on and off incredibly fast. It also has a fingerprint reader for super quick logins. It runs Windows 10, complete with Cortana as your personal assistant. It's also a touchscreen which is a must for a 2-in-1 laptop. It comes packaged with the Active Pen 2, for those that like the utility of a stylus. The screen has over 4000 levels of sensitivity with no noticeable lag so it feels like you're using a real pen, pencil or paintbrush. Dolby Atmos gives you immersive sound. The two speakers are on the bottom of the laptop and they have good sound quality. There are two usb-c inputs on the left side and a usb 3.0 input on the right. Of course it has built-in wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity. I'm not sure what more you could ask for in a laptop or tablet. Lenovo hit a home run with this one as far as I'm concerned. The case is prone to fingerprints if that's something that bothers you, but I think they pretty much all are.

Bought this as an open box unit from Best buy. My wife needed a new machine for work cause the old 15" Dell Insp was struggling and heavy to lug around. Mostly used for MS office, document creation, email, printing, internet use. This computer is very nice. Very light and easy for her to drag around on business. Great feeling keyboard. Fast. And excellent battery life. And, if it matters to you the all aluminum body is very sharp looking. The bracelet hinge is sort of cool looking and it works well in tent mode or any other mode. Only neg I have found so far is only one USB port and the weird waste of HD space with factory install partition. But the SSHD is fast and plenty of space for its intended use. Guess that is how lots of machines are heading. But for a non-business model definitely gets the job done and less than half the price of the fruit guys.

The Lenovo Yoga 920 really delivers as a versatile 2-in-1 laptop. The laptop is about 14mm thin and weighs about 3 pounds. The hardware feels really premium and the watchband style hinge feels really sturdy and rotates very smoothly when using the display in tablet mode. The screen is crisp and has clarity very impressive. It is a 1920 x 1080 and is also available in 4K if needed. It boasts of a 360 deg sound with Dolby Atmos and delivers with the music being very clear and you can hear it in all directions when using headphones. Also the two JBL speakers are loud enough to fill a room with quality sound. The yoga 920 comes with 2 thunderbolt 3 usb-c ports that can support external high resolution displays, external drives and fast charging phones and tablets. The battery life is pretty good and lasts upto 14-15 hours of normal use. Also the always-on usb port can be used to charge your phone even when the laptop is shutdown. The fingerprint reader allows you to login quickly and takes about 2 seconds to get back in and is faster than typing in a password.The 720p camera provides high quality video when on video chats and conferences. .Very very impressed by this new yoga 920 from Lenovo. I am amazed at how thin and lightweight this laptop is while being very fast. The boot up time from off to the sign in screen was about 7-8 seconds. The screen is clear and looks great with a very thin bezel. The keyboard is backlit which aids in the use in a dark room. What I felt made this laptop stand out was the active pen feature. It was my first time using a pen and it was amazing. The new active pen 2 felt comfortable and I was able to sketch just as if I was holding a pencil. The hinge feels very sturdy as well as the entire laptop. It definitely feels like a premium laptop, not heavy but solid. I have a 15 inch laptop that was a bit too heavy to carry around all day. This is definitely made to be carried around all day. Overall I believe that having the new processor, 2 thunderbolt 3 ports, and the combatabiliy with windows ink means that this laptop will last a long time before being obsolete.

Ok I've been playing around with my new laptop that arrived earlier today for the last 9 hours and this laptop is pretty darn awesome. First Lenovo laptop that I've personally owned. It came in this luxurious packaging, something I've not seen in other major computer manufacturers. I was in awe of its beauty upon removing it from the black protective sleeve that it was enclosed in inside of the packaging. Also included in the package was the Lenovo Active 2 Pen, which was a surprise. Along with the Active Pen was a plastic USB type holder for the pen. On the right side is a single USB port and the power button. On the left side is 2 thunderbolt ports with one of them being the main charging port for the laptop itself. And this charged up pretty fast. The hinge is of a watch style type hinge, something I've never seen in a laptop before, and it feels very sturdy in any position. This laptop has 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD harddrive. After unpacking everything, I started it up and was greeted by Cortana (the personal assistant), who guides you through the initial setup. Once connected to WiFi, Cortana guided me through the rest of the setup process which included recent updates. One of my favorite parts of the setup process was using the fingerprint scanner for extra security. I love how I can just use my fingerprint to gain access to my laptop without having to type in a password or pin. After all of the updates were complete, then the fun began of tweaking it to my taste. The screen on this laptop is Full HD 1920x1080. The colors on this screen just seem to pop and are very vibrant. Sound quality is amazing. I played a few videos from YouTube and the speakers were better than anything I've heard on a laptop before. Going from laptop to tablet mode is a breeze and the keyboard is automatically deactivated so that no key presses intervenes while using it in tablet mode. This is another area that was my favorite. Using the included Active Pen to draw and write with Windows Ink was so easy and fun. It also can tell if your palm is resting on the screen as to not pick it up. Using the laptop in the dark is easy as the keyboard lights up with every key pressed. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone in the market of looking for a new 2-in-1 type of laptop. And the Bronze color has to be my fave.

I am a big fan of versatility and that is certainly provided in the Lenovo Yoga 920. My wife and I were looking for a good product to meet her business needs and this does just that. She has the ability to work in laptop mode and keep all of her data up to date. Then she has the ability to rotate the top to display products or presentations to clients in tablet mode. You can see both versions in the photo. For me, I also love the technical specs. In a pinch, we could use this to entertain our kids in tablet mode. The screen resolution is great and is great for watching shows. The sound that comes with it is pretty good as well. Transitioning from viewing to gaming, the touchscreen is a great tool for their little fingers or the included stylus. I think it's great that Lenovo included it. Some other positives are the backlit keyboard, the ease of transitioning between modes, long life of the battery, the sleek design, the speakers, and the microphone. The only con that I care to list is the keyboard. It feels off to me, but that's just a personal choice. I don't think it's a deal breaker though. All in all, the Lenovo Yoga 920 is a sleek, powerful, and very functional machine. This is great for business and/or personal use. I don't think you can go wrong with this addition to fill your needs.

So... I knew I wanted a Lenovo. I knew I wanted the latest model. I knew I wanted touchscreen capability, something lightweight, and more portable than my old 17 inch HP Pavilion. I'm going back to school soon for a graduate degree, and I needed something that was as versatile as my schedule is about to become. My original plan was to check out the Yoga Flex. Of course, I start with the reviews. It's heavy... The keyboard sucks... Not versatile enough... Too big. BUMMER. Then I move on to the Yoga 900 series. The reviews on the 910 were HARSH, and without even having the laptop, I agreed. Who puts a webcam at the bottom of the display, and also switches the right shift key to a new position!?! Nope. Then I saw the new Yoga 920. A significant upgrade from the 910 - AND they put the webcam and right shift key back where they belong! Kudos, Lenovo. Now, here's what swayed my decision to get this one. First I will say though - I did not give this 5 stars because it was unfortunate that you could only get the Ultra 4K display with the 16GB model, essentially paying an arm and a leg for it. I also did not give it 5 stars because while Fingerprint recognition is great, if we have the Windows Hello feature, why not have it include the face recognition? Anyway, long story short - The battery life is amazing, I love being able to switch from laptop to tablet mode with ease. The bezels are slick, and hides the fan unit well. While the 920 does have a fan unit, that is easily managed for those who do not like hearing the fan; the quiet mode fan function is great. The display is still crisp and clear even without the 4K (glad I didn't drop the extra $500 to get that), I like the reaction time between the pen and the screen, and speaking of the pen: KUDOS BEST BUY for including that with this model! There was a lot of bloatware that came with the unit, but it was for the most part easily removable. I did not have a problem making this laptop more user friendly to my liking. I'm not so sure about the JBL speakers yet. So far, I haven't been impressed. But I use headphones a lot, and my testing of the sound so far has been without them. I plan to review again in another few months, and will have an update on the sound. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. It has exactly what I was looking for in a new laptop, and for the price, was definitely a worthy investment. AND GET THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION!! YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!

I did a lot of research before I decided to pick up a new laptop to replace my 17" widescreen battery eater. I decided, based on the reviews from various websites, to try out the Lenovo 920 I7 model. So far, after almost a month of usage, I can say I am extremely pleased with this unit. The battery lasts me all day while I am in my college classes and rockets through all the programs I need for productivity with extreme ease. I just wish the hard drive was a little bigger for the money but overall I cannot complain. It was well worth the money.

I love this machine. Aesthetically, it's perfect. Very thin and light, with that beautiful watch band hinge. The laptop boots up quickly, runs cool, and has 10 to 12 hours of battery life during normal use. The only complaint that I have, is that standby time is not as good as it should be. If the laptop is in standby, it continues to drain the battery down at about 5-7% per day. It is reduced of you hibernate, to about 2%. Overall, an excellent buy.

This computer has been great for our daughter. It is light weight, long battery life, and easy to use. The touch screen is an added bonus. She does a lot of multitasking and her old laptop could not keep up. We are very happy with our purchase. We did have to call technical support at one time they were very helpful and responded quickly. The problem ended up being our wifi which we were able to fix with their help.

This computer is highly recommended. It is fast, has a more than adequate number of ports, and a 256GB solid state drive. It can also be used with a keyboard or as touch screen..

I purchased the this product and was considering the Microsoft SurfaceBook 2 as the alternative. I decided to go with Yoga and have been very satisfied thus far. This computer has all of the power and performance I was looking for (more than the SurfaceBook) and is a hardy piece of machinery. I was unsure as to whether I wanted the the screen to detach like the SurfaceBook 2's but I have actually determined that I prefer the screen not to detach with the Yoga. It is much easier for presentations and viewing to pivot the screen as opposed to detaching it each time. Also, the price point of this machine compared the the SurfaceBook 2 was hard to pass up and I got the computer, geek squad, a printer, office software, and security for less than the SurfaceBook 2 retail price. Hard to beat that. A couple of quirks to note: there are times when the Yoga is loud when the fan is running and it does sometimes get warm. Those are the only two quirks I've run into so far but they have not been bad enough that I would reconsider my purchase.

My 10 year old laptop was not being very reliable lately. I had been researching for a new one for the past 3 months. Lenova brand kept coming out on top. I specifically wanted a very durable laptop that was very light so that I would want to use it every day. My old one was so heavy that I would only use it on weekends to check my racked up 100 + emails and pay my bills online. Now I check my mail daily at the end of my work day and enjoy checking out pintrist ideas and how to videos for new jewelry ideas. I have yet to download any of my photos on it to edit. I will get around to doing that during my summer vacation time when school is let out. The battery life is awesome...up to 12 hours on a full charge. My old laptop only held a charge for 2 hours if I was lucky. so, after having this for the last month I can honestly say I am thrilled and looking forward to doing more on it in the future. Oh yeah...it never heats up on my lap even after more than an hours worth of use...great feature for me!

Very light and thin laptop. Hinges are sturdy and look good. Backlit keyboard is a plus. Fast CPU.

Lenova Yoga 920 laptop has been a great laptop so far! Construction is very sturdy, yet very light weight, around 3 pounds. Got a great deal, as computer was the store's display model. Physical condition is good. Outside and screen look new. Touch pad shows some wear. Sales person said battery may not hold charge as long since it has been plugged continuously while it was on display. Not a noticeable difference so far. If needed, down the road, I could easily purchase a new battery for the savings I received. Retail for 8GB memory & 256GB SSD is about $1300 and it could probably be purchased on sale for a little over $1,000. I paid $719! Very happy with laptop!
