This is the second one that I own and would buy another if the need should arise. The small form factor makes this travel well and when I hook it up to my dock it is a powerhouse. Just Bought My Second 9i

I am writing this review on my first 9i and for Christmas, I bought my wife the same 9i, (saving $700 off of what I paid for mine) to replace her Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 2. The pros of this computer are the internal components, the IBM keyboard, two thunderbolt ports and the 4K touch screen. It is very difficult to find another laptop with these components. I did find an HP Envy and HP Septor that came close, but both were 13.3 or 15.6 screens. The 14" screen was the size I was looking for. You either love or hate the glass palm rest and the haptic feedback on the touchpad. My wife and I have had no issue with it. I have now owned my 9i for a year and have no issues. I upgraded my wife's 9i to windows 11 and it is running great. If you can live with the 512GB SSD (wish it was 1TB) then this is a great computer.

Very slow boot, fingerprint reader was not functioning and the ports were very difficult to use - hard to insert and remove. Not sure if something off on the fit? The return to Best Buy was fantastically simple and quick.

Posted .This Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0001US, will boot from off to the Windows 11 login screen in less than 10-seconds. If you are experiencing slower boot times, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 11. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 11 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Premium Care at: 888-278-9707.
Wow, very surprised! BUMPING beats!

COW! I just got it, but the Dolby Atmos speakers are just insane. I never buy a laptop for audio, they always advertise it being great, but this IS GREAT! The brightness is close to 500 nits, would like to see a little more, but HDR is extremely good on thing. Speed is good, overall I am super pleased with this device. I hope Lenovo continues making quality products like this. CON!!! The trackpad, it isn't a mechanical click, it uses touch haptics like phone touch screens. The border isn't well defined and I frequently click out of the trackpad expecting something to happen. I would highly recommend that you try this type of trackpad out before purchasing. I have gotten used to it and made some adjustments in the settings. Using Windows 11 as the OS, your results may vary.

There is also a unique, Touch Style Ultrasonic fingerprint reader on palm rest, with match-on-host security for your privacy. There is a subdued boarder around the fingerprint reader pad to make it easy to find. Using sound waves to read your fingerprint makes the Yoga 9i 14 fingerprint reader more accurate too.

Good rhing i got the warranty hut it sucks to have flaws oh and the hinges can’t hold the screen very well
