The only issues relate to the fingerprint scanner that doesn't work well and identifying the edges of the trackpad, they are so subtle that it is easy not to feel them or identify where they are.

Makes it worth only if you get it at a discounted price. The biggest advantage you will have is the at home warranty servicing. The extended warranty can be bought additionally for a nominal charge. Decent speakers, overall performance and great display. These do come with Intels mobile chips which is in general slower than a regular desktop i7 but will do most of the HD jobs smoothly if you have it plugged in.

Posted .This Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with the latest WiFi-6, Wide-Range/High Speed 2x2 802.11ax frequency WiFi capability, built in. If you are getting less than expected WiFi range, check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 11 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 11, including the BIOS files and Drivers for WiFi. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Beautiful laptop but subpar battery life

The laptop itself is beautiful. It has a leather cover and tempered glass track pad (which is nice but a fingerprint magnet). The new EVO i7 was enjoyable to use with lightning fast speeds and the resolution is gorgeous. It would be an ideal laptop for someone who utilizes the 4K. My only gripe was the battery life. I’d only get about 6 hours or so before it needs to be charged again. At least it didn’t have the freezing issue that I ended up experiencing with the FHD version.

This model ships with the latest Intel 6G, Wide-Range/High Speed 2x2 802.11AX frequency WiFi. It is also backward compatible to older b/g/n/ac frequencies as well. If you are having WiFi issues, we recommend updating Windows 10 to the latest version, then updating all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. This model of the Yoga 9i-14 ships with a highly customizable, buttonless glass surface multi-touch touchpad, supports Precision TouchPad (PTP). You can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. You can easily

Lenovo Yoga Series Upgrade

Therefore, when it came time to upgrade, I opted for the Yoga 9i. However, I couldn't help but notice that the newer model didn't quite live up to my expectations in terms of efficiency and overall performance. Unlike its predecessor, I found the Yoga 9i to be less responsive, and it didn't provide the seamless experience I had grown accustomed to. Maybe my expectations were too high for the newer model? Overall, Lenova Yoga is an amazing laptop to get.

Love the fact that its a 2 in 1 and it comes with the pen. Battery life is good. Nice size also great for traveling or throwing it in a backpack and taking it with you for wherever you are going. The negatives to me are the track pad is very sensitive even when adjusting the settings also the finger print scanner is hard to find due to it being the glass covered. But other than those two thing I love this laptop.

His desk top did stop working about 5 days after Christmas!!! He was super happy he had gotten this new lap top

The leather top and glass palm rest give it a unique look and feel. The haptic feedback of the trackpad takes some getting used to but functions well. The display is crisp and the speaker bar has impressive audio quality. If you're looking for a quality 2-in-1 the 9i is the way to go.

Quite most of the time and fast enough to play around with heavy applications like Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio etc running simultaneously. Battery last at least 5 hours in initial testing. Not done enough testing yet but I’m hoping it will be provide sufficient juice to last for almost a working day. Screen graphics looks stunning as this laptop has 4K support. All over I’m quite satisfied with it so far and would recommend it if price is not the constraint.

No good with Ubuntu
