The best computer I ever purchased so far.
I love the sound system/speakers. 4k screen with HDR is amazing. Leather cover is unique and beautiful. Highly recommend it for potential buyer looking for computer in this class.
Keyboard is backlit certainly very helpful when typing in low light.
Specification is just right for me, fast although of course it's not intended for gamers.

Great Laptop the screen display is incredible. The 16GB memory and the processor pop pages in and at fast speed. I love the Yoga 2 in one design makes the laptop looks very stylish. Very easy to setup I only wish I could say that for the Microsoft suite I purchase with the laptop, pay for it and still can’t use it. I am very pleased with my purchase(laptop)

Pretty good and speedy enough. Battery life is poor unfortunately, so it's not good for more than 4 hours or less away from the plug. But aside from that, solid computer. Really wish companies would start being truthful about battery life or give real instructions about how to get it to the advertised rate

I have had this machine for a week and I like it very much. It's sleek, fast, and responsive. Wakes from sleep quickly and looks very nice. Works well with a Thunderbolt adaptor for external interfaces (HDMI, additional USB ports, card reader, etc). Keyboard feels very nice, it is very comfortable and responsive.
The area below the keyboard is a bit of a fingerprint magnet. Only complaint I have thus far is the fingerprint reader. It is hit or miss...it usually takes several attempts for the reader to analyze your fingerprint and log you in. Sometimes it doesn't work at all and you have to enter the pin. If the fingerprint reader worked flawlessly I'd have nothing bad to say about this laptop so far.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the fingerprint reader within your Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14, model number 82BG0001US. Here's a tip for making your fingerprint reader work every time: Try lightly sliding your finger over the fingerprint reader. No need to press hard on the reader, in fact pressing hard on the fingerprint reader will distort your fingerprint and cause read errors. If your fingerprint reader still is not functioning up to expectations, then check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686 for additional help.

I have bought a lot of laptops over the years. I needed a windows machine for a specific project. The yoga/flip screen + touch screen is perfect for mobility issues I have for travel. It's powerful, the screen is amazing, love the pen that hides in the chassis - with a great battery life. This was an OPEN BOX find - exceeds expectations

Beware of Huge Design Flaw

This is the first Yoga I've purchased that I was dissatisfied with, and it's a real letdown.
Like Yogas before it (this is my fourth now) it's fairly fast and works as a 2-1. The pen feature is good, and overall it performs.
However, the trackpad makes almost any basic task more complicated than it should be, and in some circumstances, it's borderline unusable. Before you buy it, just google 9i trackpad and you will see what I mean. It takes excessive force to register a click and the surface is too slick making it tough to navigate. I've been relegated to connecting this to my work screen or having bring a mouse with me wherever I go.
This is one of those cases where the design flaw creates a lack or practicality that simply isn't worth sacrificing for any kind of performance advantages. It has a very confusing layout, and the developers tried to get too cute here.

The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with an integrated, highly customizable, buttonless glass surface multi-touch touchpad, which supports Precision TouchPad (PTP). You can make adjustments to the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom left of your Windows 10 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad.

Lenovo Yoga 9i did a great job in laptop built quality and soundbar.
No issues with the trackpad once get used to it. The glass palm rest feels really good when you're typing for long period.
The only issue with this laptop is the fingerprint scanner is very hard to find and wifi 6 is not as good as HP spectre x360.
Overall, This is a great laptop for the day to day use !!

My older laptop is not upgradeable to Windows 11, so researched new laptop offerings and decided on the Yoga 91, and I have had no regrets with this purchase. A perfectly sized laptop, with a beautiful touch screen display, and a racehorse of a CPU, and a battery that last all day! What is not to like!

The laptop itself is amazing. It does everything you could want.
The only complaint I have is the touchpad is about worthless. You can't tell where it starts or ends, so every time you try to drop and drop anything it always ends up in the wrong spot. The sensitivity of the clicks is also way to sensitive even on the lowest setting causing you to click on things you don't want.

Well designed laptop, but overpriced item with no HDMI and SC card reader. Leather is beautiful, but not practical. The glass hand rest is shinny and glossy, but a finger print magnet. Battery live is not what factory states. You will be lucky if you can get more than 3 1/2 hours from it. Keyboard can be better with premium price.
Evo platform running on i7 is fast and highly recommended. Stunning 4k display and sound.

The Intel Evo-Certified, Lenovo Yoga 9i-14 model number 82BG0001US, ships with two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, with video out capability, the Yoga 9i-14 supports up to 3 independent displays via native display and 2 external monitors; supports external monitors via Thunderbolt (up to 5120x3200@60Hz). You can connect an HDMI monitor to this ultra-portable 2 in 1 laptop with a Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter. This Evo-Certified configuration of the Yoga 9i-14 ships with All-Day Battery life, thanks to its 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which, within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 9 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
