This laptop is fantastic. Keyboard is great, display quality is one of the best I have seen. Sound is best I have ever heard on a windows laptop. Perfect mix of functionality and performance with discrete graphics. Handles modern games with ease. 5-6 hours of battery life in battery saver mode and light use. Applying Lenovo BIOS update helped battery life. Negative: Only one USB A port

Replaced my Lenovo idea pad with the Yoga. The Lenovo's are great laptops. I wish it had an hdmi port but I have ordered the adapter for the two thunderbolt ports. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star review. Very quick and I would highly recommend this laptop.

Pricey, but delivers on speed and a 1 T drive. Lacking enough USB ports and power cord input is a bit sloppy…sometimes doesn’t stay in. Opted for this primarily for the 1 terabyte hard drive.

Computer has been great, had it for a month now. Speed and battery have been most useful. I held on to my old one a little too long and am glad this is the one I chose to replace it with. Still getting used to the keyboard, it’s larger than my last, went from a much smaller machine to a larger set up. Great for my aging eyeballs!

Worst Money Spent IN MY LIFE!!

I'd give this product a 0 if I could. Easily the worst purchase (especially for the $1,800 price tag) of my life. 1.) This device does not play well with ANYTHING ELSE. You will not be able to charge this with a USB-C charger since it REQUIRES (not recommends) 135 Watts, which not even Thunderbolt usb-c charging is capable of 2.) The Mousepad is WAY to sensitive and delineation between right and left click is extremely poor 3.) Power button is almost impossible to click successfully on first try since it's about the size of an almond sliver. 4.) It burns through its battery VERY quickly, so you need it's proprietary charger with you at ALL times. And charges very slowly once plugged in. 5.) Only one USB port, which would be fine if it was ACTUALLY COMPATIBLE with anything else to make use of additional ports. Cannot be used with a modern USB-C docking station 6.) comes with Windows 11 by default, which does not pair well with this device...like, at all. I spoke with "Lenovo's Premium" customer support about the laptop, and apparently it just won't work with anything besides proprietary lenovo products, which is completely awful. Will NEVER buy a Lenovo product again after this and will forever caution others from buying a Lenovo product in the future...

We are sorry to hear that the Lenovo Yoga 9i 15 model number 82DE002XUS, does not meet your computing needs. This Yoiga 9i 15 ships with a dedicated, 135W external power supply, slim tip (3-pin) AC adapter/charger, 100-240V, 50-60Hz that is required to both power the Yoga 9i 15 when plugged in and properly charge the Integrated 69Wh, Lithium-Polymer internal battery. The maximum wattage that the USB-c ports on this Yoga 9i 15 can support is up to 100W and will not properly power/charge this Yoga 9i 15. Regarding the touchpad, you can adjust the touchpad in your system settings. You can get there by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of your Windows 11 screen. Type "touchpad" in the search window. Select "Mouse & touchpad settings" from the list of choices. You can make general adjustments to the touchpad there. You can also select "Additional mouse options" for more detailed adjustments to the touchpad sensitivity by increasing the delay of the touchpad. This Lenovo Yoga 9i 15 ships with thes ports: 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A (Always On), 2x Thunderbolt 3 (support data transfer, Power Delivery, and DisplayPort 1.4) with video out to external monitors, 1x Headphone / microphone combo jack (3.5mm), 1x Power connector. The Yoga 9i 15 supports up to 3 independent displays (native display and 2 external monitors via Thunderbolt). Thunderbolt supports up to 5120x3200@60Hz. You can use a Thunderbolt compatible USB-c format docking station with this Yoga 9i 15, like this one:  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/kensington-sd2500t-thunderbolt-3-and-usb-c-dual-4k-hybrid-nano-dock-with-60w-pd-win-mac-docking-station-silver/6462673.p?skuId=6462673 Lenovo

This new laptop far exceeds our 10+ year old PC. We love the large screen, although the touch screen takes some getting used to when you haven't had one. A little surprised there is only 1 USB port.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 model number 82DE0009US. The ports on the Yoga 9i-15 are: 1x power connector, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On), 1x headphone / microphone combo jack (3.5mm), 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 / Thunderbolt 3 (support data transfer, Power Delivery and DisplayPort 1.4). Picked it up open box-excellent for a great price. To be safe, I ran some benchmarks/stress tests to check for a problem someone may have returned it for. Benchmark results were a bit above what I've seen in online reviews. The biggest surprise is that I am getting 10 hours of battery life with it today. I'm not going out of my way to be efficient. My brightness is at 2/3 which is plenty bright in a bright indoor room. I've been downloading software and updates, have two browser windows open with multiple tabs, and OneNote use with the pen. I was fully prepared to only get about 5 hours of use out of it based on many reviews I read and watched. Glad that it is much better than expected during casual/moderate use.

This was an ok laptop. From med school, I was used to the versatility of having a laptop that can also transform into a tablet. In truth, this is a decent laptop but a very poor tablet. The hinge system was not resistant enough to last 2 years, and if the hinge has trouble, it also meant the cables for the screen would also short and have display problems. I would recommend getting a laptop and tablet separately, which is usually possible at the price this laptop was when I got it.

I've only had this computer for about 2 weeks. So far everything about this computer is great with one big exception, the battery. I only manage to get about 3 hrs of battery life. I don't run labor intensive programs, so I expected or hoped to get at least 5 hrs, Lenovos web site says 9 hrs. I'm still considering sending it back and ordering a dell.

The Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 model number 82DE0009US, ships with a 4CELL_69WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 13 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, First, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo
