It will get pretty warm underneath, especially running Roblox or Minecraft. Both my son and daughter have this computer. I would definitely recommend it if your looking for a good combination of specs, speed, and power.

The only thing is the fan is a little noisy but it rarely running. I wish I knew how to turn it off and keep it off. After I shut down & close the top it's off, but lift the top it immediately turns on.

Great graphics, great sound. Thin and sleek. Premium quality. Like the fact it has a pen, though I barely use it. Giving it a 4 star because I don't like the keyboard layout, the number pad on the right forces all the letter keys off center to the left. As a result the track pad is also off center. That really bothers me. Also it's too much metal for me, feels too hard and cold. Its almost perfect, but I prefer the Lenovo X1 Extreme 3.

The touchpad is centered under the QWERTY keys so that when the typist's hands are in the Home Position on the keyboard, the touchpad is directly under the typist's hands.

When running more than one application at once or running a game on a full charge it will die in about an hour if not plugged in, which is a much shorter time than I was led to believe. Besides that it’s been more than great, working properly and quickly.

This model ships with a Integrated 69Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 13 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. Something you might not consider -- the 'keyboard backlight' allows you to easily type under any lighting conditions -- an important feature for me. I highly recommend the Lenovo-Yoga 9i, if you want to future-proof your product.

They are the most reliable and durable for the price. My Ideapad 100 is 8 years old and is still going strong. I purchased this laptop as a present for myself for finishing my bachelor's degree. I am loving everything about it. It is fast and feels solid. It's a little heavier than I would prefer. I purchased the Yoga 9i 14" and exchanged it two weeks later. It was too small. I can't wait to use this laptop to its fullest extent.

The sound bar hinge makes it look very fancy, but it is quite heavy. Also, it’s a bit difficult to open because the edges are flesh. To fix this, I just attached a pop socket to the top and it opens easily, while adding a safe way to carry it. Loads incredibly fast and love the 2 in 1.

Posted .The Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 weighs just 4.41 lbs. There is an easy open lip on the front of the top cover of the Yoga 9i-15. Just place your finger under the front of the laptop top cover and lift the lid.

Avoid. The third time is NOT the charm

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a microsoft surface because I needed a replacement and they didn't have the size / capacity i needed so I went with the yoga for the graphics but withing a week got a blue screen of death and had to replace. Went with the same (apparently thinking it was a fluke/lemon) but found hardware and software issues immediately and within a year was already in need of a replacement. Love Best Buy - thank goodness for the extended damage and repair warranty - but this laptop is definitely NOT my recommendation.

It’s super fast I’ve been able to run multiple applications at the same time, the dedicated number pad is extremely helpful, and the fingerprint recognition is very fast (but I will say your finger has to be completely dry). Most importantly for me I can work on two documents side-by-side.
