I recently bought a pixelbook and am still in the return window for it. Initial hands on dubbed this machine a pixel killer at 300 bucks less. I decided to give it a whirl while i still had the opportunity to return the pixel. Right off the bat, i will tell you i will not compare this to the pixelbook because it's not even close. LOOK AND FEEL...its very plain and doesn't feel very premium at all. I had it for less then 2 hours and after opening and closing it maybe 5-6 times, i had already noticed chips in the paint where the two sides meet. I cant say if it came out of the box like that cause i hadn't noticed it. SCREEN/TOUCH...while i do love the larger screen from this computer, its absolutely underwhelming to look at. The screen is too large for its resolution and you notice the pixels as soon as you open up a webpage. The touchscreen is poor as well. It does not respond well to touch. i constantly clicked links and whatever else got in my way while trying to scroll a page. Even the feel of the screen was awkward and sticky while trying to swipe around. There's nothing here to like outside of the size. PERFORMANCE...This is really the only acceptable aspect of this laptop. Since chrome OS doesn't require much, any "premium laptop" running chrome will be able to breeze through anything you would want to do. OVERALL...it took me less than 25 mins to realize this was not the laptop for me and absolutely no pixelbook killer. I could not recommend this to anyone.

We are sorry to hear that the Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook did not meet your expectations. This model ships with a 1920 x 1080 resolution touchscreen and has an 8th Generation Intel Core I-5-8250U processor, 8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state hard drive. This Chromebook configuration is great for making presentations, business use and/or student use. If this describes your computing needs and the Chrome operating system fits your workload, the Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook will be a good choice. lenovo

    Horrible WiFi Reception

I have a new c630 Chromebook sitting next to an old Apple, a Samsung Chromebook Pro, Google Pixel Phone and an iPad mini. I am 15' from my cable WiFi router and hub. All of these machines receive WiFi fully and with great speed, 5 bars. The c630 has almost unusable WiFi reception and I have tired everything. The WiFi is critical for a Chromebook, for obvious reasons, everything is online. This makes the Chromebook un-usable. Web Pages have a horrible time loading up. E-mail siits are spins waiting for the internet. Online video's are unwatchable. And Lenovo Chromebook Support is non-existent. They literally don't have any tech support for this family of products. Don't buy a Lenovo c630 Chromebook, the WiFi and Support are not good.

The Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook, model number 81JX0000US, ships with the latest 5G 802.11AC frequency WiFi. For the best connectivity, be sure your router has the latest firmware updates available from the router manufacturer's web site.
