Great battery 20 hrs. On standby (mostly) w some usage, I get 2+ days. It has fingerprint login, which is very convenient. The bottom of the laptop has nonslip material to stabilize. Other great features are the portability of the size and the 360 degree flex to convert to a tablet. Stylus not included! =-/ But you can purchase one separate for $50. I'm really glad the charger on this laptop is NOT a USB port, but a wall adapter which is much sturdier and doesn't snap off as easily.

I'm not sure who's responsible. Whether it's a sales or service issue. But I was very disappointed with this purchase. I bought 3 laptops as gifts for my family 6 months ago. The computer I bought for myself I opened right away and started using. The computer was a piece of garbage from the beginning.. runs very slow. Takes 10 to 20 minutes just to get to the home screen. If it makes it there at all. Sometimes I have to restart just to get to the home screen. The other 2 laptops were just opened. They came with 6month subscription for internet security that I asked not to be activated.. They did anyways and so it was expired before I got the chance to use it. So I bought a new subscription for Trend. But when I went to install all all 3 laptops. The system crashed. Geek squad told me that the computers may have been trying to do to many backed up updates at the same time and so it shut the whole operating system down...I'm not a computer genius, but I know enough to know that should not happen with a new computer..not to mention 3 new computers. I have geek squad protection and the tech support membership so non of the repairs are coming out of my pocket. But what disturbs me is that I was told if I didn't have those plans. I would be paying for these repairs out of pocket. Repairs for a bad operating system on a new computer. Repairs that the technical assured me was not my fault and I did nothing wrong...How is that possible I asked.. and I'm still asking and have not gotten a satisfactory answer. I've been dealing with Best Buy for a long time. But now I'm starting to question my loyalty to a brand that would sale such garbage and then blame the manufacturer. Im not the manufacturer customer.. I'm a customer of BEST BUY. And if they don't care enough to make sure the products they sale are up to standards. I think I need to find somewhere else to buy my electronics and office equipment and supplies. Very disappointed with Best Buy.. really thought they were better than the rest.

Faster and more storage than our previous HP. Like the small size for use with separate monitor and keyboard. Very happy with the price we paid.

It might have been fine if not for the fan. It was loud, unbearably high-pitched, and it never stopped--even when nothing was running, even when it was asleep! I ended up returning it because I just couldn't get anything done on it. Anyone with sensitive hearing or auditory processing issues, stay away.

The Lenovo C640-13 Laptop, model number 81UE001PUS ships with a 4CELL_60WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 18 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Loud fan, Screen wobble

Excellent entry-level laptop

I'm writing this review because it's difficult to find coverage for this Yoga in particular. To address some common questions, the screen wobble isn't very significant on most surfaces unlike what most people say. The only time it really wobbles is when you touch the display in laptop mode, and even then its standard for 2-in-1's. The fan is definitely high-pitched but isn't excessively loud or bothersome, even in quiet environments. An excellent feature of the device is the keyboard, which has great travel and is one of the best laptop keyboards I've ever used. If you're a writer or a student you will definitely benefit from this. The monstrous battery definitely allows you to get through a workday without charging it. The only issue I've come across is the touchpad, which sits too close to the end of the case and actually gets "stuck" when you press it. Fortunately, you can slowly pry the end of the touchpad with your fingernail a few times with permanently fixes this issue. Overall, it's a fantastic laptop that definitely demands more attention than it has received.
