The only complaint is that it is hard to open it because there is no groove for your fingers to grab onto. That would be a plus for the next model. It would also be great if the computer itself would stop your hand from making marks when drawing on programs like Paint 3D when you are using a smart pen in the table mode -that is kind of frustrating. Apart from those items, it is a great product and they seem to have made improvements on the touchscreen from prior models. I one had a Yoga 720 and the screen failed and had a black line around the perimeter of the display screen, which was no fun! Good job in fixing that for this Yoga C740 model Lenovo!

For opening the lid we recommend grabbing from the front where the touch pad is. In regards to the pen and touch sensitivity, it is possible that calibrating the touch settings may fix this issue for you. You can access the menu by typing "Touch" into the windows search bar, and then selecting "calibrate the screen for pen and touch input". I entered the shop with a smaller budget, but the salesman did present a convincing argument on me stepping up to this model to run SolidWorks. I thoroughly enjoy the touch screen, fingerprint reader, and tablet-folding abilities. It has not hiccuped once in my times of running multiple models on SolidWorks and using the Brave to look up specs. I REALLY wish it wasn't in what I can only describe as a light rose gold though. I would much prefer a gunmetal grey or something, but that's a small trade off. Another complaint for me is that it is a 512GB SSD, which to me really ought to be 1TB.

Good Laptop

I write in Spanish and need the option to manually use grammatical accent on letters. (eg. á, ó, ñ) Battery last me almost 6 hrs with continuous use. After only two months I am happy with my purchase. A little difficulty on occasions with audio on Zoom, but we all know that service is overwhelmed by the high demand of these days so, I don't know if it is the machine or the service. However, overall sound is not the best quality which why I gave it only 4 stars. I would recommend it to people who don't care about getting under par sound.

It is light and fast with ample memory. The display could use higher resolution, but that is a different model, so okay. It needs a function key to turn on/off the keyboard backlight. The touchpad needs a way to use both mouse and pad and disable the pad at will. It doesn't have many external I/O ports (2 USB type A, and 2 USB type C), but I don't find it a problem. The system runs cool and quiet, the battery lasts for hours, enough to make it through that long meeting where they don't have power outlets or your forgot your power supply. Overall it is a solid device.

I always wanted a 2-in-1 computer that allowed me to multitask and this was perfect for me. I am able to watch movies and work on my school assignments at the same tie. I am also able to attend Zoom meetings and do other things on the computer without any problems. I have had the computer for a little under a month and I have no complaints. I am optimistic about my future with this computer.

Always trusting Best Buy to come through with the discounts but not where you don’t explain correctly. Can send photos I would like for someone to access the computer value maybe moved to a good status?

I had been looking for a newer laptop to install the chrome book I had for years and had down a fair amount of research online and went into a Best Buy to speak with an employee on recommendations etc. This laptop happened to be on sale at the time I purchased it, so that was good and like the low profile and with it getting so many good reviews online I was pretty comfortable moving forward with the purchase. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but every easy to use and set was all step by step and quick.

I love this and find I use it more than my old HP slimline desktop. Its light weight and has a sleek design. Almost reminds me of the MacBook Pro. I especially love the easy on/off button for the track pad when using a bluetooth mouse. Also, notable is the metal casing most of the laptops are plastic now. For me the metal was worth the extra money.
