The display is vibrant and can get pretty bright, the speakers sound great to me (though I use headphones a majority of the time). This is mainly used for work and can handle my daily tasks of multiple browsers being open. The computer does run hot at times so I tend to avoid using on the bed for extended periods of time. If you are looking for a new laptop, this will not disappoint!

Also, the touchscreen with pen is very handy. I wish there were more than one USB port as I still has a lot of peripherals using usb rather than thunderbolt. I’m really pleased with the computer and can recommend.

Nice laptop but too thick and bit heavy

The display is great and a variety of ports is also excellent. but I think for a full convertible it’s a bit heavy and too thick. I really like the placement of the sound bar at the hinge. If thickness is not a problem that’s a great laptop for the price.

The sound is not at all as good as I expected it ito be. Also, the fans are crazy loud and always seem to be running. I kind of wish that I had kept looking around, but with COVID, I kind of had to buy it without actually seeing it. My previous laptop was a Lenovo 730 and I absolutely love it, so i was kind of expecting this one to be amazing. Its just ok.

The fan keeps turning on and it is very loud. I will keep using it and see if this continues. If so I will be returning this.

Posted .With regard to the fan running, the fan will automatically start and maintain proper cooling for the Lenovo Yoga C940-15, model number 81TE000DUS, based on the workload the computer is under. Heavy workloads require the fan to run more often and a higher RPM. If the fan is running while the computer is at idle or under light workloads, first be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer, then update all of the BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Constant Fan noise during light tasks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this in yesterday and when I launched it and just opened one ms edge window the fans started making constant noise and havent stopped since. I'm gonna try to update bios and put it on quiet mode but I read that for some people that doesnt make any difference. Turns out it's an issue a lot of people have with this laptop. If that doesnt solve the issue I'm returning it. Cant even imagine what its gonna sound like during heavy tasks. Other than that I love its build quality, it has the perfect specs I need for video and photo editing. Pretty disappointing.
