Searched the internet for a all around good computer, i use a lot of design software like adobe suite, CAD, etc but also like to game. Battery life isnt the best

BSOD

But at this price point it should not have this many problems. Crashes all the time. All I've done is run windows update and install Firefox. Seems to crash all the time doing different things. I don't have the patience anymore to spend hours, days trying to fix software issues that should have been ironed out by now. No excuses. This has been out for over a year. Its going back tomorrow. Resetting it now. The last time I had something this buggy was with a windows 95 machine after installing internet explorer IV which would knacker it to the point you had to reformat the drive. And that's pretty much what I'm doing with this pile of junk right now.

Decent Laptop

Turns off randomly and mouse issues

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This laptop is really nice, I like to type on it, beautiful screen and fast, however, if I close the lid, sometimes when I opened it again I find out it has randomly restarted on me which means I now lose everything I was working on. I do digitizing for my embroidery side gig and this is very inconvenient. There are other time where it has fully shut down on me. Now mouse/track pad. It likes to lag and skip. I don’t know why but I’m moving my mouse and then it completely stops and then skips into a different area. Another small thing is it creaks. My work laptop is more solid than this. A little disappointed with the price point of this laptop. Again, my biggest issue it the randomly turning off and restarting on its own while the lid is closed.

To start, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, applying all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, applying all available updates here as well.
If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. We recommend contacting Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for further assistance.

2 manufacturer defects

Very frustrating since I've had it for a year and I have had to be without it for 3 weeks each time. Without those issues, its a nice laptop.
