The battery is abysmal. Regular browsing and I would get 3 hours sometimes 2. Expected better given specs (processor is supposed to be good for battery life).

To provide some insight and try to help extend your time before plugging in -- the system features a high wattage processor and graphics card to deliver great mobile performance. By default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend users utilize the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). Users can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both words. Starting up Windows 11 was a challenge for me as have never used this OS before. They did not remove Xbox game pass as requested when purchasing so it kept popping up repeatedly wanting me to accept the free trial and then telling me there were updates. Then was told there were updates for OS 11, after the 3rd try finally did not fail, the Lenovo had a firmware update that kept failing, so I called their tech support and person didn’t understand English very well, then said had to contact software support but did not connect me to that department, instead just disconnected the call. To date still have not been able to actually use the laptop and did not realize only had a 14 day return policy, thought total membership would give me longer. Hope I can sell this computer to someone this can get all the bugs out as I don’t have the patience or time to keep calling Lenovo just to keep going through the language barrier problem. Don’t buy this product unless you have experience with this company and Win 11.

Defective out of the box. Worked with lenovo and kept temporarily getting fixed by troubleshooting, factory reset, working with lenovo tech. Being frustrated doing everything under the sun. After two weeks wifi card crapped out all together. Replacement on yhis card is not good as laptop comes with a Wi-Fi 6E card soldered to the system board. Because we spent weeks trying to troubleshoot and fix now best buy wont take it back. Repairs and warranty with lenovo is apparently a nightmare. $1800 for a broken computer that no one wants to stand behind.

My 3 yeat old Dell with an i7 and 32gb ram runs circles around this Evo Core9. This thing stutters with simple web browsing with Edge. Don't be fooled by the nice sounding 14th Gen processor specs. This thing gets more wrong than right

Terrible computer, too bad this won't let me rate it zero stars. Won't even power on after 4 months. We sent it to Lenovo support twice and still doesn't work. Maybe the only thing worse than this laptop is Lenovo support. Buy an HP instead.

Great but with caveats

I bought this laptop directly through Lenovo's website. I love it so far. But here are few things I don't like about the 16" version.
* The touch pad is too large for the size of the QWERTY keyboard. My palms will often rest on part of the touch pad and occasionally provide unintended touch inputs.
* The num pad shoves the QWERTY keys to the left. This makes the keyboard off center to the screen. It's quite inconvenient to either move the laptop to get a comfortable typing position or move yourself for the same.
* The power button is its Achilles heel. The power button does not sit flush with the laptop body. If the laptop ever slips off your hand into your laptop bag, the weight of the laptop is very likely to break the power button.
* The battery could have been a bit better. But its not a deal breaker. I don't expect bit portability from this laptop so I am expecting to be always near a power source.
